DONOVAN - APPLE ACETATE - A one off, thought to be unreleased Apple single sided 10" acetate (7" recording on 10" disc) of a solo Donovan singing with his guitar 'Just Donovan'. Playing surface is a VG with some light scratches and scuffs but plays fine with some surface noise towards the end of the recording. Record is marked as 'Custom Recording Blank' on plain white label. A quite wonderful track in the 'traditional' Folk sense, this could be 'filed' next to Bert Jansch, Jackson C Frank, Davy Graham and perhaps more to the playing style of Robbie Basho contemporary Richard Osborn.
EMERSON, LAKE AND PALMER - HOEDOWN (APPLE 7" ACETATE) - Very scarce single sided 7" acetate of the fab showstopper from ELP. Says Keith Emerson: ""We'd started working on that arrangement and then I hit, I don't know what, I switched a blue button and I put a patch cord in there, but anyway, 'whoooeee." With printed Apple 'Custom Recording' label. The playing surface is in VG+ condition with a few light surface markings; there is nothing heavier with very little deterioration to the lacquer.
SLADE - FAR FAR AWAY (APPLE 7" ACETATE) - Extremely few on the ground original single sided 7" acetate recording of the 1974 classic (Apple Corps Ltd. London address with Custom Recording label). Please note that the label is not believed to be original. The playing surface is in VG+ condition with a few light surface marks - there is nothing heavier and there are no scratches. The label is bright and sharp with some fading on the white 'cut' apple. Complete with Apple company sleeve.
