Piano Feurich with Welte green reproducing mechanism Rare reproducing piano with the late and famous Welte green mechanism. This late Welte reproducing system is based on the 88 note scale. This allows you to play the special Welte rolls or ordinary 88 note rolls. Pneumatic restored and Feurich Piano in good shape. The instrument is playing with it’s original pump but needs some final tuning. Comes with 30 Welte green and 28 88 note rolls. Welte is regarded as the best reproducing system for classical music. The advantage of the Welte green rolls is, that there are a lot more non-classical rolls available as on the Welte red system. Also you can play all 88 rolls. Steck Duo-Art 1.60m Grand Piano This is a very late (approx 1930) instrument in an ornate mahogany case with cabriole legs and attractive music desk and pedal lyre. This instrument is electric only and it has all the desirable control features of the late type Duo-Art. The piano has recently been almost fully retubed and some pneumatics have been recovered where required. The piano action and stringing are in good unrestored condition. Some key tops have become loose and are missing so the keys should be recovered to look good and for hand playing. The piano plays very well and is very enjoyable to hear. With the piano are 25 good Duo-art rolls and 30 good 88-note rolls. Cyprus

Popper Happy Jazz Orchestrion This instrument has been fully restored including a fully rebuilt piano and fully rebuilt pneumatic system including the vital round aluminium bodied valves. The piano has original restored front lamps with hanging beads. The top percussion unit is reproduction but carefully built to be in every way a correct copy of an original top. At the top is a pediment with an attractive rotating mirrored wonder light fascinator. This Popper has the advantage of playing the same scale music rolls as the very big classic Popper orchestrions so it can play very effectively all types of music. from light popular tunes, through marches, etc to cassical overtures and salon pieces. Hupfeld Animatic S Orchestrion This comprises a special high quality oak cased upright Hupfeld electrically driven player piano with original beaded front lights which was restored some years ago and is still in good playing condition. The separate original percussion unit contains Bass drum, Snare drum, Chinese cymbal, Wood block and 12 note Xylophone. At the top is a music roll storage cabinet. Although restored some while back this instrument is still in excellent playing order. Double Tino Orchestrion by Gastaud et Raibaut for Maison Bodson (Paris, France) This beautiful instrument features animated characters representing famous musician Tino Rossi playing an accordion and a drummer playing the snare drum, bass drum and cymbal. Paper rolls control the accordion and percussion. A cam mechanism operates the animated figures' motions, including realistic movements of their heads, eyes, eyebrows, hands and fingers. Ex Christopher Hogwood - Single-manual harpsichord by Thomas Culliford for Longman & Broderip, London, 1782, the case of mahogany with boxwood stringing, the lid with brass strap hinges, the key well veneered with panels of burr walnut with boxwood stringing and kingwood crossbanding, the fascia board extensively inlaid with scrolling foliage and a central urn, the soundboard with inset gilt-metal rose pierced and carved with King David playing the harp and with the pierced inscription Longman & Broderip Cheapside, the five octave keyboard, FF to f3 omitting FF sharp, with ivory naturals with boxwood mouldings and ebony accidentals, seven brass-knobbed hand stops with ivory caps inscribed with their function, six controlling the harp stop, 8ft lute stop, two 8ft stops, a 4ft stop and a 'mute' (dummy) stop, the seventh in the left cheek controlling the machine stop together with the left-hand pedal, the right-hand pedal controlling a swell mechanism operating on a secondary internal lid, with music desk, on trestle stand, with canvas cover. Inscribed on a boxwood plaque on the name batten Longman and Broderip, Musical Instrument Makers 26 Cheapside London and on the reverse of the name batten Thos. Culliford, Maker, 3 Fountain Court, Cheapside, London, February 1782. Length 7' 2?", 219.3cm; width 3' 3?", 100.9cm This instrument is one of only three known to have been made by Culliford with both a machine stop and a lid swell, one of the others being in The Mobbs Keyboard Collection, Golden Bay, New Zealand. The current location of the other one is not recorded. Culliford was the great-grandfather of the author Charles Dickens.
