RICHARD CLIFF: (1940- ) British Pop Singer. Vintage signed 9.5 x 7.5 photograph, an early image of the singer in a head and shoulders pose alongside an unidentified, older gentleman. Signed ('Sincerely, Cliff Richard') in bold blue fountain pen ink to a clear area of the image. Together with a vintage signed 9.5 x 7.5 photograph by both Cliff Richard and Hank Marvin individually, the image depicting the two musicians seated in three quarter length poses together on a bed, Marvin playing his guitar. Signed by each in blue fountain pen inks to clear areas of the image. VG, 2

Signed album record sleeve for Broken Wing (1978), signed by Baker in blue ink to the front cover featuring a close-up portrait of the musician playing his trumpet. Dated 1986 in his hand. Signed 16 x 12 photograph of Matthews in a full length action pose wearing his Stoke City strip whilst playing a match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on 14th May 1963. Signed ('Best wishes, Stanley Matthews') in black ink to a clear area at the base of the image. An excellent signed silver gelatin fibre based photograph of high quality. EX
India General Service Medal 1854 with N.E.Frontier clasp named to 3954 Bugler J Clarke 4th Bn K.R.Rif.C. Born Shoreditch, London, with the trade of Musician. Also served WW1 with the Irish Guards. Twice noted in the Defaulters Book for being Drunk while outside Buckingham Palace (once while playing in the band !). VF (1)
A mid 19th Century Grand Tour memento carved lava box decorated with figures in an interior dancing and playing musical instruments, bearing label to interior "Bought from Naples by A Hussey Esq. for Sally 1846", approx 7 cm diameter x 2 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Some light scratches to the top, some dirt and dust. Some small nicks, mainly to the edge. Metal rim slightly out of circular. Tarnished, slightly bent. Base has large split to the metal and resulting damage under, broken in two places. Various splits and damage to the metal throughout. Crack running across the base. Light scratches. Signs of gluing. General wear and tear.
A pair of Chinese Qianlong tea bowls and saucers of ribbed form, each decorated with figures in an interior setting, some playing with a dog CONDITION REPORTS Both bowls have wear to the gilding and the paintwork. Some roughness to rims. One saucer has several chips to the edges, gilding is very worn and paintwork worn. Star crack to base. All have wear and tear, scratches, and dirt. See images for details.
A Chinese Qianlong blue and white vase of rectangular baluster form, decorated in the Mandarin palette with panels depicting figures in a garden setting with dogs and hawk and with further figures, one playing with butterflies verso and various other panels to the neck and sides, 37.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Both handles have been broken and restored and have remodelling and overpainting. Gilding is worn all over. There are losses to the enamel. General wear and tear, scratches, firing faults. See images for details.

19TH CENTURY ENGLISH SCHOOL "Scattered playing cards, musical notation, bank notes, etc", two studies, trompe l'oeil watercolour and ink, unsigned, 43.5 cm x 61 cm and 31.5 cm x 23.5 cm (2) CONDITION REPORTS The larger picture has browning and yellowing to paper, various stains and discolouration, although some of this appears to be deliberate to give an aged look to the trompe l 'oeil items. There is some wear and scuffs including some scrapes and small holes to the surface including to the centre right margin plus small scuffs throughout. There are also some areas of dirt and stains and some foxing. The blue pamphlet to the bottom right of the picture is inscribed "J.WILKS. 1813,". There are some water stains including a smudge to the nine of hearts playing card top centre of the picture. The illustration of the castle depicts Galoway and Carisbrooke Castle, Isle of Wight, the trompe l'oeil newspaper's wrapping is inscribed "The Honble S. Percival M.P. to Joseph Wilks Esqr Westerham Kent., " The silhouettes to the top - the central of these depicts a child and beneath the child is inscribed "Ellen Wilks. 1828." The frame has various wear, scuffs and chips and losses. The smaller picture has several splits and tears including tears top right, top left, bottom left, some to margins and into the black areas, some across top, and down into picture, and a large split / tear across the playing card. Some touching in and recolouring to the tears and some splashes of black paint and generally some marks, dirt and yellowing. Two folds to the paper which are worn and separating slightly, plus a hole to the centre top section. Some of this picture appears to be printed, and some is painted in ink.

Sport - Football - Derby County - a hand written ledger recording proceedings of Derby County FC Limited Players' Committee from December 1895 to January 1897. 13 by 8.5in (33 x 21cm) bound foolscap ledger printed by Bemrose & Sons, Derby no. 24093 dated 18/12/1895, green morocco with gilt titling Derby County Football Club Limited/ Players Commitee, marbled end papers, 48 lined leaves (96pp) all interspersed with pink blotting paper, recording committee minutes from January 1897 to late October 1898, including financial arrangements for matches, fees, transfer negotiations, discipline, appointments of personnel, strip clours, ticket prices, list of player with injuries, numerous names: John Rylety (chairman) M S Roberts, S Bennett, G Stevens, W. J. Morley, player mentioned include Steve Bloomer (request for leave of absence for 26th October 1898, also inebriation whilst playing) Fryer, Staley, Payne, Shanks, Burton, Hunt, Smith, Leiper & Paterson. Condition Report: Excellent considiton internally, but spine covering detached.
