The Who- Anyway Anyhow Anywhere (two copies looking unplayed but without centres), together with eight Brunswick ‘Gold’ Bill Hayley singles (05317, 05338, 05373, 05405, 05453 (two), 05405 and 05530) - these discs have, or have had, sellotaped centres but as the tape is over 50 years old it is removable with minimum damage to labels. Disc playing areas virtually excellent throughout
Approximately 90 singles on the London Label including Bobby Darin, Everly Brothers, Pat Boone, Duane Eddy, Ned Miller, Bobby Vee, The Fleetwoods, Turtles, Roy Orbinson, Johnny and the Hurricanes and Mel Torme - Discs are excellent on the playing area but some have had the centres moved or replaced with sellotape. Many intact tri-centres and the original company sleeves in decent condition
A 19th Century Swiss musical box with drum and four bells, struck by a pair of polychrome Mandarin automata playing 10 airs on 38cm cylinders and 86 tooth triple comb no. 38001, with type sheet to the cover reverse, contained in an inlaid rosewood case, 65.5cm wide/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: This musical box is probably a marriage, the music sheet is attached but other pins remain and the suspension has been lowered to fit the bells and figures, please see additional images. The start/stop lever needs attention, when going ball, bells and the drum work including Mandarin nods, hammers need adjusting for greater clarity of sound and the drum hammers are touching vellum, teeth and tooth tips appear good.

THE BEATLES - SECOND ALBUM & VI LPs (ORIGINAL US STEREO PRESSINGS - SUPERB COPIES). Onto the US stereos with these 2 x superb condition original LPs. Titles are Second Album (ST-2080, 1964 original rainbow label with no running times for 'Long Tall Sally' and 'I Call Your Name', ASCAP credit on side 2 label, with 'tightly spaced' stereo on labels, 'needle damage' info on back cover, West Coast pressing - Ex+ just a couple of very faint and wispy paper marks/og company inner/Ex+ some very minor wear around the edges) and Beatles VI (ST-2358, rainbow label with 'ASCAP' publishing credit on 'Words Of Love' side 1, 'See label for correct playing order' and 'needle damage' info on back cover, East Coast pressing - Ex+ a few very light paper marks/with og company inner/Ex+ some very slight wear around the edges).
APPLE STUDIO ACETATES (UNRELEASED RECORDINGS). Fascinating bundle of 3 x Apple studios pressed acetate/lacquer recordings including 1 x 3 track 10" LP, 1 x 4 track 12" LP and 1 x 3 track 12". Very little information is known about these recordings however they could be related to Matchbox (in the previous lot). The four track 12" LP has Apple Custom Recording labels with 'Backing Track Demo Recording 9/1/74' handwritten - condition is clean Ex with a couple of light and minor surface marks. The 3 track 10" has machine stamped '540AA' on the playing side above the centre hole - condition is VG with some surface marks. The 3 track 12" lacquer has no labels - condition is very clean Ex. This copy is stored in a card sleeve stating 'Jimmy Boland Demos'.
GEORGE HARRISON - LIVING IN THE MATERIAL WORLD - UK SINGLE SIDED TEST PRESSING ('YEX 917-2U'). Fantastic to see original UK white label test pressing (single-sided for 'side one') LP of the classic 1973 LP from George Harrison. Blank white labels with no writing, matrix/runouts: YEX 917-2U HARE KRSNA with 1 G mother/stampers, the non-playing side with LPFB 2 machine stamped. The record is in clean Ex condition with a couple of light and minor surface marks and a few light storage marks that are typically easily cleaned. With an original 'generic' test pressing 'Sealed By Quality Control' sleeve, this is for a Ravi Shankar LP.
Very well presented 1st UK mono 'black and gold', this LP housed with the 2nd printing sleeve. The record (PMC 1202, with Dick James credits for tracks A1, 2, 4, 6, 7, B4 and B6) is in very clean VG+ condition - a lovely copy, there are just a few light and minor surface marks to the playing surfaces, these never heavier in nature whatsoever with no scratches to mention. The labels are in fantastic clean condition. Matrix/mother stampers: XEX 421-1N 1 M & XEX 422-1N 1 2 GP. The sleeve (2nd printing with 'left' aligned Angus McBean credit) is in neat VG+ condition. The front super sharp and clean, there are a few light scuffs on the reverse with a small paper tear and there is a small paper tear on the bottom right section of the flipback.
THE BEATLES - WHITE ALBUM (ORIGINAL UK MONO NUMBER 0001650). Fantastic low-numbered original UK mono White Album, this true first pressing number 0001650. The original top loading embossed gatefold sleeve is in neat VG+ condition. A fine example, there are a few light creases to the laminate and some light ringwear showing. The spine is in clean order with the text fully legible. With some light peeling to the lamiante around 'Beatles'. The number '0001650' is fully legible. Complete with lyric poster (some foxing), photos, spacer and black inners. Record one (PMC 7067, no 'EMI' credit) is in G+ condition - there are some surface marks to the playing surfaces and a feelable scratch towards the end of side 1. -1/-1 matrix endings. Record 2 (PMC 7068, no 'EMI' credit) is in VG condition with a number of surface marks though no heavier scratches.
THE BEATLES - SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND - ORIGINAL UK DOUBLE SIDED EMIDISC ACETATE LP. Amazing to see original UK double sided Emidisc acetate of the legendary 1967 LP from The Beatles. With printed Emidisc label on side one stating 'Sgt. Pepper's 33 1/3 RPM, Side 1, The Beatles, Mono', there being no label on side 2. The acetate is in very neat VG condition. There are some surface marks to the playing surfaces though these are not heavier in nature whatsoever with no feelable scratches to mention. Showing only light 'fading' to the lacuqer. The recording appears to be the same as the commercial release though the mix is clearly not the final version.
THE BEATLES 7" ACETATE - 'SINCERE GOOD WISHES FOR CHRISTMAS AND THE NEW YEAR' (FIRST CHRISTMAS FLEXI). Fantastic to see early acetate recording of the first Christmas flexi release from The Beatles. The record (single sided) contains no labels. Condition is G+ with a number of surface marks/scuffs to the playing surface (and non-playing side) though no heavier scratches. Showing light wear around the perimeter to the aluminium lacquer.
GEORGE HARRISON - MASTER ROOM SAMPLE 7" ACETATE FOR 'THIRTY THREE & 1/3'. Very well presented extremely scarce original UK Master Room studios single sided 7" acetate recording featuring samples of four tracks from Thirty Three & 1/3 - It's What You Value, True Love, Crackerbox Palace and Beautiful Girl. The record (printed Master Room labels, 'George Harrison Promotion Record') is in sharp Ex condition with only a couple of very light and minor surface marks and a little wear to the aluminium lacquer around the edges. The non-playing side with some light scuffs.
THE BEATLES - WE CAN WORK IT OUT/DAY TRIPPER - ORIGINAL UK EMIDISC 7" ACETATE RECORDING. So seldom seen original UK 7" Emidisc acetate recording of We Can Work It Out c/w Day Tripper. Hanwritten titles with 'MARR' on We Can Work It Out label and 'MARR' and 'DAVIES' handwritten on Day Dripper label. The record is in VG condition - there are surface marks to the playing surfaces though these don't extend to heavier scratches. The recordings appear to be the same as the commercial release. With very little deterioration to the aluminium lacquer.
