Born in Edmonston, Plum played professionally for Charton Athletic, Chelsea and Southend United. He received his only cap for England at the age of 23, starting and playing the full 90 minutes in a 4-1 win over France. Match held 10th May 1923.

All the dignitaries were present including the Chairman of New Zealand Rugby, Vice President of Australian RFU, Chairman of the World Cup Tournament Committee and the President of the NZ RFU.. WARTIME FOOTBALL Teamsheet issued by HQ Sport 1/Wilts Reg for a game between 1st Battalion Wiltshire Regiment and Tommy Walkers Touring XI , 13/9/45 at Garhwal, India. Walkers XI included players from Swansea, Celtic, Spurs, Hearts (Walker), Kilmarnock, Hamilton, Crystal Palace, QPR, Portadown and Charlton. Full line-ups are shown for both teams, the regiment playing Maroon and Pink !!.. Fold. Generally good
RUGBY LEAGUE Two large press photographs showing Gus Risman playing his final match at the age of 41 for Workington Town in the 1952 Cup Final v Featherstone Rovers at Wembley. One shows Risman introducing the Workington team to Anthony Eden and Lord Derby before the game, the other shows him holding the Rugby League Challenge Cup after Workington won 18-10. Both pictures are in very good condition and measure circa 8" x 10". Also included are two Cup Final programmes, 1956 Halifax v St Helens (good) and 1957 Barrow v Leeds( folds, changes noted). A George III inlaid satinwood octagonal games box, containing playing cards and counters. Length 26 cm, depth 21 cm, height 5.7 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The casket itself is in very good condition with no serious condition issues. There are some areas of veneer which are slightly rippled and lifting particularly in the top centre. There are however no losses. There is one full pack of cards in the box. All cards are blank on the rear. There are two ace of spades George IV cards by Hunt & Sons. The second pack of cards is missing spades 3 & 2, hearts 4 & 5, the queen of diamonds and the 2 of clubs.
REGENCY ROSEWOOD DEMI LUNE FOLD OVER CARD TABLE, the top with broad satinwood banding and ebony stringing, revealing green baize playing surface, and having inlaid brass outlines to the edges and frieze and square tapering legs. 94 x 91 x 74cm. CONDITION REPORT: A little dry but a good quality table requiring repolishing, very minor warping to the top, showing a slight smile, but basically sound.
REGENCY ROSEWOOD RECTANGULAR FOLD OVER CARD TABLE, having ebony strung top with curved angles, revealing red baize playing surface above a deep frieze with bead moulded panel, on a four column platform base with outswept sabre legs and brass claw feet with casters. 96 x 92 x 66cm. CONDITION REPORT: Stains and scratches commensurate with age, minor pieces of edge moulding missing in places, scuffs and wear to the feet, slight warping to the top.
