A marquetry and gilt metal mounted card table in Louis XV style, mid 20th century, the marquetry inlaid swivel top with central floral motif opening to baise playing surface, above single blind frieze drawer, on cabriole legs with gilt metal mounted knees and caps, 76cm high, the top 58cm x 80cm
A MUSICAL BOX Swiss, late 19th century, the 23.5cm pinned cylinder set to a gilded steel bed, playing eight airs and flanked by a winding lever to one side, and stop / start and change / repeat levers to the other, the lid interior with a printed and hand-written tune sheet printed in Geneva and numbered '32610', the rosewood case with quarter-veneered tulipwood cross-banding and with floral marquetry inlay to the lid, 15cm high, 54cm wide, 23.5cm deep (marquetry incomplete; case with wood worm; mechanism inoperative).
An Edwardian mahogany double folding games table, the hinged rectangular lid opening to reveal a baise playing surface with dish corners, hinged again to reveal a recessed roulette table with a betting board and recesses for chips above a base frieze raised on square section fluted tapering legs to brass caps and castors, width 94cm. CONDITION REPORT: Some bleaching to top surface and some surface scratches. Generally in lovely condition.
A scrimshaw whale's tooth, engraved with a woman playing a mandolin, length 14cm. CONDITION REPORT: Scratches throughout, some filled with dirt, particularly to the back of the tooth, also a couple of cracks and a chip to the top. Only history known of the item is that the vendor was given it following the death of a friend and came from a local estate.

Adrien Etienner Gaudez (French, 1845-1902). A bronze figure of Mozart playing the violin, the plinth signed 'A GAUDEZ', 37.5cm high, together with an Italian bronze figure after the antique of The Venus Callipyge or 'of the beautiful buttocks', the base with a foundry pastille 'CHIURAZZI NAPLES', and a bronze group of the dancing satyr with Bacchus on a marble plinth, indistinctly stamped with foundry mark. Two very unusual Japanese enamel dishes, circa 1890, each on an earthenware body, probably French, enamelled on one with the warrior Kenkai Yoshioka Hogan playing a flute by a stream to his lover, Katsura-Hime, plucking her koto in a thatched house, arcaded, diapered border, 32cm, the other with two figures on horseback and attendants with their bows and arrows, the rim similar to the first, chips, 36cmIt is recorded that, at the end of the 19th century, the Japanese imported some Continental porcelain and earthenware for decoration, hoping that it was cheaper than their own blanks.
A Japanese ivory manju netske, 19th century, modelled as an apple or gourd, with a branch, 3.5cm diameter, together with another Japanese miniature okimono /netsuke of children playing Go at a table, signature to base, 3.5cm wide(2) CONDITION REPORT: both items have hairline cracks overall, some to children playing go.
