After revealing the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, Q (John Cleese) handed James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) its manual and asked him to read it. Bond threw the manual in the air, causing the car's automatic machine guns to destroy it. Inside is a detailed printed "V12 Vanquish Owner's Guide" divided into multiple sections, with contents and index pages. The silver-coloured metal folder the manual is contained in exhibits marks, scratches and faded lettering on its front and back.
