1988 Land Rover Defender 110 Transmission: manualMileage:20The original Land Rover Series began production in Solihull in 1948 and until its decades-long production run ended in 2016, more than two million Defenders were produced, becoming a British automotive icon. Since production ceased, the revered model has been in increased demand from both collectors and those willing to use this tough, utilitarian vehicle in the way it was designed for. It was only in 1989, following the introduction of the all-new Land Rover Discovery, that the Defender received its own name. This was not only a marketing exercise; the new Defender received a raft of upgrades, along with a new turbo diesel engine, which brought useful increases in power, torque, and fuel economy when compared with the old, normally aspirated diesel it was based on. Often boasting large 'Defender' logos, the Land Rover went through a continuous process of development, gaining disc brakes and power-assisted steering as standard during the 1990s, together with a host of other improvements.Originally registered on 1st August 1988 this is no ordinary Land Rover. This Defender has had a nut and bolt restoration in every sense of the word. Restomod is probably the best way to describe this Double cab pick-up as it has been restored to a magnificent standard and has had a few modifications carried out along the way. After purchasing the vehicle, the vendor stripped it back to nothing, this involved removing the body, engine, gearbox and axles. The chassis showed signs of corrosion so a new galvanised one was fitted, a new bulkhead was fitted at the same time. The engine was rebuilt by respected V8 engine rebuilder John Eales, the capacity was increased to 4.6 litres and output increased to a more than adequate 260 BHP. The transfer gearbox was rebuilt as were the differentials. The brakes were overhauled and upgraded as was the suspension, with anti-roll bars fitted front and rear. The bodywork was taken care of and the car has been repainted to a magnificent standard in Aintree Green. Originally a standard 110, the rear has been cut-off to make it a Double cab pick-up, strength was added by fitting a Land Rover roll-bar. The interior has been trimmed in tan leather and again this has been carried out to an exemplary standard, even the dashboard has been trimmed in leather. The loadspace area has been fitted with four inward facing seats making this effectively a ten-seater Land Rover. All of the ancillaries have been replaced, wheels, tyres, rear soft top, badges, in addition to central locking and rear camera. To build such a vehicle in this manner and to this standard would be in excess of £100,000. The quality of this outstanding vehicle has to be seen to be appreciated, viewing is highly recommended. Classic Defenders are becoming increasingly rare and popular, this 35 year old vehicle is in better condition than when it originally left Lode Lane.

2003 Ferrari 575M (Fiorano Handling Pack) Transmission: paddleMileage:26332The Ferrari 575M is an excellent example of Italian engineering and craftsmanship. It combines luxury, performance and comfort in one package. Released in 2002, this car was the successor to the 550 Maranello. The 575M saw several changes from its predecessor, including a larger engine and a redesigned interior. The 575M is powered by a 5.7 litre V12 engine that produces 508hp and 434 lb-ft of torque. This engine was mated to a six-speed manual transmission, or optional F1 gearbox. The 575M also features an adaptive suspension system, allowing it to adapt to the driver's needs and driving style. This car offers excellent performance, with a 0-60 mph time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 202mph.This particular example is presented in Argento Nürburgring, with Blu Scuro leather interior. The car features the optional Fiorano Handling Pack, which comprises of a more sporting suspension setup, faster steering rack and larger brakes. This example was also specified with the highly desirable 19€ modular wheels, which give the car a much more sporting look. Another rare option which this car has, is the interior rollover bar, also trimmed in Blu Scuro leather. It comes with a comprehensive service history, with 14 services recorded, the most recent being an annual oil, filter and brake fluid change in February 2023 at Dick Lovett in Swindon.The car presents in very good general condition with the paintwork retaining a good shine and also the interior presents well. The exciting Ultima GTR road car is the result of over 20 years of extensive research and development and is a product that takes the Ultima marque to sensational levels of fit, finish and performance. The world renowned GTR really is a supercar in every sense of the word which has officially humbled every last mainstream car on the planet bar none. In 2006, for instance, the GTR was crowned as the fastest production car in the world, beating the likes of the Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari Enzo and McLaren F1 to a plethora of world speed acceleration and deceleration records. 1972 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Super Transmission: manualMileage:37661The first Giulia 105 series of motor cars, the Giulia Ti, was introduced to the motoring press at Monza on the 27th June 1962 in Berlina (saloon) form. Driven by the classic Alfa twin cam, engine capacity was increased from its predecessor, the Giulietta, from 1290cc to 1570cc and produced 92bhp in the new guise. The new car also included a five-speed column change gearbox, umbrella handbrake and strip instrumentation. Designed by Dr. Orazio Satta Puglia, the initial look is of a somewhat square but compact motor car however, look more closely; the detailed swaging along the roof, wings, and doors along with a subtle roof spoiler and Kamm tail gave encouraging results in the wind tunnel. In 1965, at the Geneva Motor Show, the Giulia Super was introduced. Based on the Ti, improvements included a floor change gearbox and centrally mounted handbrake as well as attractive round instruments with ancillary gauges mounted centrally. Twin Weber carburettors were fitted and the power was increased to 112bhp.Completed on 16th October 1972, this Italian built, right hand drive Giulia 1600 Super was destined for delivery to its first owner in Cyprus. Ordered in Verde Pino (Pine Green) with contrasting Wild Boar Tex (tan) interior, it was sold by the Cyprian Alfa Romeo dealer D.J. Demades and Sons of Nicosia and was first registered on 15th November 1972. Rarely found with any classic, the supplied two service books show regular maintenance carried out for the first ten years by Demades and Sons. The history file also shows that since the car's import to the U.K. in 2013, it has been well maintained, with a file full of receipts from reputable Alfa Romeo specialist companies such as Alfaholics, Classic Alfa and Bournemouth based Autolusso. In fact, Autolusso were commissioned, in 2017, to carry out a full rebuild of the engine at a cost of over £6,000. The engine rebuild reportedly transformed the car along with several other upgrades to the handling, including; the fitting of an uprated front anti-roll bar, a set of Bilstein shock absorbers, replacement of various joints, suspension arms and bushes along with the fitment of a set of TZ/TI Super wheels and tyres. The car presents beautifully and the vendor reports it to be a pleasure to drive with the bodywork, engine bay and interior all presenting very well.Supplied with a V5C registration document, file of receipts, MoT test certificates and its original service books, original build manuals and workshop details as well as two sets of keys. Rarely found in this condition and highly original, this lovely little Alfa wants for nothing and is ready to go!

1964 MG B Roadster Transmission: manualMileage:62864Conceived in the late 1950s and launched in 1962, the MGB would turn out to be one of the most successful sportscars of all time. Attractively styled, cheap to run and easily maintained by the home mechanic, the 'B' carried on MG's traditional role of providing affordable, sports car motoring for the ordinary enthusiast. The MGB was mechanically similar to the preceding MGA, though with heavier, unitary construction bodyshell. To compensate for the newcomer's increased weight, the existing B-Series engine was stretched from 1622 to 1798cc while the MGB's aerodynamically efficient lines made the most of the maximum available 95bhp to achieve a top speed which just topped the magic 'ton'. A 'right first time' design that changed little over the years apart from the adoption of a more robust five-main-bearing engine in 1965 (fitted from the start of GT production that autumn), a minor facelift for 1970 and the adoption of plastic bumpers (to comply with US legislation) for 1975, the 'B' enjoyed an 18 year production life and sales totalling in excess of 500,000 cars. 1960 Austin Healey 3000 Mk. I Transmission: manualMileage:The Austin Healey 3000 Mk. I four-seater was a sports car produced between 1959 and 1961. This version of the popular sports car featured four seats, making it a practical option for families and those who wanted to enjoy the open road with friends. Under the hood, the Austin Healey 3000 Mk. I four-seater featured a 2.9 litre straight-six engine capable of producing up to 124 horsepower, which was mated to a four-speed manual transmission. This engine allowed the car to accelerate from 0-60mph in just 11.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 112mph.This beautiful Austin Healey was built in August 1960 and despatched to Bournemouth Imperial Motors a month later. The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certified copy of the factory records is present and shows that the car features a heater and the ever-desirable overdrive. The file for this car contains various bills, receipts and details of earlier works. More recently this car has benefitted from a no expense spared restoration by marque specialist Gerald 'Jeggs' Stephenson. His 40 plus years of experience with Healeys is obvious to see in this immaculate example. HSV 925 presents impeccably in Healey Blue with Ivory white coachwork and a blue interior and features subtle upgrades to the braking system, a stainless steel exhaust and electronic ignition. The engine was overhauled and balanced at Richard Parker race engines and features a performance camshaft. This is possibly the finest example of a Mk. I available in the market today.

1973 Alfa Romeo 2000 GT Veloce Transmission: manualMileage:75791The Giulia 105 Series Coupé was first shown to the motoring press on 9th September 1963, at the new Arese works in Milan and was mechanically based on the TI saloon (Berlina). Known as the Sprint GT, later versions were introduced that included the GT Veloce and 1750 GTV. June 1971 saw the replacement of the 1750 GTV with the 2000 GTV, the new model being presented at Gardone. A larger displacement engine of 1962cc in the new 2000 GTV saw power increase over its predecessor that now gave 132bhp and a top speed of more than 120mph. The greater low speed torque and larger flexibility at higher revs is a feature of this 2.0 litre capacity engine. Externally a new horizontal front grille incorporated the Alfa shield and the rear wing line was revised giving a slightly sleeker look, 'Biscione' (serpent-eating-a-man), badges adorned the rear pillars and the rear light clusters were enlarged. The interior trim was revised with velour cloth material or leatherette for the seats and the instruments were grouped into one cluster to enable easier and quicker scanning of the instruments. Production ceased in 1976.The Alfa Romeo archive confirms that this incredibly original and unmodified, time warp 2000 GT Veloce, was delivered new to Cyprus and then to its first owner, a Mr. Ghinis through the Demandes Brothers Alfa Romeo dealership in September 1973, (the Cypriot cars were an identical specification to the U.K. examples, even including the heated rear screen option). A publisher by trade, Mr. Ghinis used the car to travel Europe for work including trips to the U.K. Italy and Greece. The supplied original service coupon book shows service stamps in Bristol, Athens and Cyprus, verifying the cars early travels. Mr. Ghinis clearly saw the value in looking after his car, as can be seen by the condition it remains in today. Upon Mr. Ghinis' death in 1999, his widow couldn't bear to part with the car and thus kept it in storage for 15 years, until in 2014 when it was sold and brought to the U.K. (for the second time)! It was at this time the car underwent a sympathetic recommissioning with Alfa Romeo specialists Autodelta, that included a full brake overhaul, carburettor strip and rebuild along with a full service. Since then, the car has been owned by Alfa Romeo enthusiasts, who have spared no expense on maintaining the car's incredible condition and originality. The entire structure and all the factory panels remain, as do all the factory spot welds. The condition of the bodyshell can only be described as exceptional with the sills, arches and valances all in excellent order. Looking around the car, it is hard to find fault. The interior, wheels and bodywork all present beautifully. The interior carpets are original, the dash uncracked and the seats unblemished. Indeed, the vendor reports the car to run and drive faultlessly, with the two litre twin cam engine pulling strongly. The substantial history files that accompany the car includes many original documents for its life in Cyprus and right up to the present day.Supplied with a V5C registration document, sizable file of receipts, MoT test certificates and its original service books, handbooks and many other interesting items. An opportunity to acquire such an original and well documented 2000 GT Veloce is incredibly rare and as such, an opportunity not to be missed.

1970 Lotus Europa Transmission: manualMileage:9926The Lotus Europa used Lotus founder Colin Chapman's minimalist steel backbone chassis that was first used in the Elan, while also relying on its fibreglass moulded body for structural strength, and was based on a prototype built to compete for Henry Ford II's contract to build a Le Mans racing car in the early 1960's. The four-wheel independent suspension was typical of Chapman's thinking. The rear suspension was a modified Chapman strut, as used for Chapman's earlier Formula racing car designs with the handling prompting automotive writers to describe the Europa as the nearest thing to a Formula car for the road. The Series One was announced for sale in 1966 and was fitted with a modified Renault 16, 1470cc, inline-four engine and a four-speed gearbox. The Europa was designed and built to be an embodiment of Chapman's often stated philosophy of automotive design; simplify, then add lightness.This lovely 1970 Lotus Europa has had over £34,000 spent on restoration works over the last ten years. This included a new Spyder chassis with the Renault Fuego transaxle conversion. All new wishbones and suspension with coil-over shocks, new bushes, bearings etc. The engine was replaced with the revered Renault 807 Gordini style alloy engine, fitted with twin 40 DCOE Weber carburettors and a four-branch sports exhaust system. Repainted in yellow with the interior restored in black and yellow leather and the dashboard refurbished. The car is fitted with electric windows, central locking with an alarm immobiliser and a period looking digital radio and also the car's alloy wheels have been refurbished. The Lotus Europa is a classic sports car that was ahead of its time in terms of design and performance. Its lightweight body, powerful engine, and excellent handling make it a beloved car among enthusiasts and collectors alike.

1936 Mercedes-Benz 170V Roadster Transmission: manualMileage:The Mercedes-Benz 170V (W136) was the company's chief four-cylinder offering from 1935 through to 1955. It was available in saloon, cabriolet, roadster, cabrio-limousine and even pickup and van guises. Pre-1950 the range was powered by an engine of 1697cc capacity. Total production of the W136 line numbered some 158,196 units.This wonderful left hand drive 170V two-seater is believed to be one of only 13 dickie-seat versions remaining of circa 250 produced. It is thought to have come off the production line in 1936 and subsequently brought to the UK by its first keeper, a Baron Von Rautenburg, the then consul of the German embassy in London. First UK registered just nine days before the outbreak of WWII. While much of the history has sadly been lost, there are some early images of the car whilst owned by its second keeper an A J Ray Whiteway, who was Chairman of the Mercedes-Benz Club from 1963 to 1970. They even include shots of the car competing in the club's first ever concours d'elegance, which was held at Gerrards Cross in 1953. Club records suggest it was then owned by a D S D Lenoir before being acquired by the vendor in 1974. He apparently purchased it as a non-runner for £1,000 and had it restored in Oxfordshire, during which the colour was changed from white to its current livery of brown over yellow. The black vinyl interior trim is believed to be original and we understand the existing engine is, however, a 44bhp post-war unit of 1701cc, that appears to have been installed in the late 1960's / early 1970's. Evidently it has only done 200 miles since being thoroughly rebuilt some five years ago, at which time the brake system was overhauled and the clutch was inspected but deemed to be in good order. Recent maintenance has included the replacement of the water pump, front wheel bearings and tyres, while within the last 200 miles a reconditioned differential has been purchased from Germany and installed. The vendor now considers the powerplant and manual transmission to be in very good order.Black and white images by kind permission of the Mercedes-Benz Club Archives.Interested parties should note that contrary to the catalogue description, this example has not run in circa five years and as such general recommissioning will be required. However, prior to this five-year period the Mercedes was treated to a mechanical restoration, and we believe only light recommissioning will be required.

2014 Porsche 911 / 991 Turbo S Cabriolet Transmission: automaticMileage:17352The Porsche 991 is the internal designation for the seventh generation of the Porsche 911, unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show on 15th September as the replacement for the 997. The 991 was an entirely new platform, only the third since the original 911 launched in 1963 (the 996 of 1999 was the second new platform). Introduced in 2012, the 991 Turbo has a twin turbocharged 3.8 litre flat-six engine generating 513bhp and 457lb‹…ft of torque with all-wheel drive. The Turbo comes as standard with Porsche's PDK dual clutch transmission and is the first Turbo model to not feature a manual transmission. The car was faster and lighter thanks to greater use of aluminium, but also more comfortable than ever before. The Turbo S in particular is the pinnacle of the 911 range, offering the best balance of comfort and performance before moving towards track orientated models such as the GT3 and GT3 RS.This fabulous Porsche Cabriolet is presented in the delightful colour combination of GT Silver metallic with contrasting red interior and a burgundy roof. Presenting in fabulous, virtually unmarked condition, this Turbo S cabriolet has formed part of a private collection since the vendor purchased the car from Porsche Centre Colchester in August 2018. The car has covered less than three thousand miles since the start of his tenureship. The automatic soft top can be raised or lowered in just 13 seconds and very impressively at speeds of up to 31mph. Service records confirm the low mileage to be correct and the condition is certainly commensurate with such a low mileage example. The most recent service was carried out by Porsche Brooklands in December 2022. Supplied with a V5 registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 17th November 2023. 1963 Austin Healey 3000 Mk. II Transmission: manualMileage:The Austin Healey 3000 Mk. II was a produced between 1961 and 1965. The 1963 model year saw a number of improvements to the car, including a more powerful engine and revised styling. Under the hood, the 1963 Austin Healey 3000 Mk. II featured a 2.9 litre straight-six engine capable of producing up to 132 horsepower, which was mated to a four-speed manual transmission. This engine allowed the car to accelerate from 0-60mph in just 9.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 115mph. On the outside, the Mk. II featured a more prominent grille, revised rear styling, and a new wrap-around windscreen. The interior was also updated, with a new dashboard and revised seating.This beautiful Austin Healey is from a private collection and has benefitted from a no expense spared restoration. The work was meticulously undertaken by leading specialist Gerald 'Jeggs' Stephenson. He has been restoring Healeys for over 40 years and his approach to Healey's borders on the obsessive. The quality of his work speaks for itself. This immaculate car presents wonderfully in grey over red coachwork complemented with a red interior which is piped in grey. It is fitted with subtle upgrades like improvements to the braking system, a stainless steel exhaust and electronic ignition. The engine was completely overhauled and balanced by Richard Parker race engines to the highest standard and features performance camshafts. 1964 Ford Lotus Cortina Mk. I Transmission: manualMileage:The 1964 Ford Lotus Cortina was a high-performance version of the popular British family car, the Ford Cortina. It was a result of a collaboration between Ford and Lotus and was designed for racing and high-performance driving. Under the bonnet, the 1964 Ford Lotus Cortina featured a 1.6 litre twin-cam engine capable of producing up to 105 horsepower, which was mated to a four-speed manual transmission. This engine allowed the car to accelerate from 0-60mph in just 10 seconds, and reach a top speed of 104 mph. On the outside, the Ford Lotus Cortina featured a distinctive green and white paint scheme, and a number of aerodynamic modifications, including a front spoiler and widened wheel arches. The interior was also updated, with sports seats and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. With its lively performance and distinctive design, it remains a favourite among racing enthusiasts and collectors alike.This stunning example was purchased by our enthusiast vendor from a deceased estate. The family who sold the car knew it needed a full and sympathetic restoration and that our customer was the perfect buyer. The no expense spared restoration process not only involved acid dipping but after all panel work that required replacing was complete it was sent back for a process to protect from any future corroding. The two doors, bonnet and boot lid are original aluminium and this is an original A frame car that has never been raced and is rare as a standard road car. This low ownership example is offered to auction with a V5C registration document, a file containing various bills and correspondence from the Lotus Cortina register and is possibly the finest example we have seen.

2014 Aston Martin Vantage S V12 Transmission: manualMileage:34005On 28th May 2013, Aston Martin announced the V12 Vantage S, a sportier version of the V12 Vantage that preceded it. The V12 Vantage S produces 565bhp and 457lb‹…ft of torque from a revised 5.9 litre V12 engine called the AM28, which would be used as a base for future engines. The power is transferred to the rear wheels using a new seven-speed Sportshift III automated manual transmission. The V12 Vantage S was lighter than the standard V12 Vantage and features new three-stage adaptive damping for the suspension system, new carbon-ceramic brakes, and a unique track-mode for improved performance. Claimed to be able to accelerate from 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 205mph, making it the fastest production Aston Martin at the time alongside the One-77. The exhaust on the V12 Vantage S was also developed from the company's own One-77. Styling and aerodynamic changes include a carbon fibre front grille, black roof and rear grille and lightweight forged alloy wheels.This example of the stunning and ferociously quick Aston Martin V12 S is presented in Onyx Black with black over red stitched trim. First registered on 29th January 2014 with a list price of £138,000, this example has covered a mere 34,005 miles from new. The car was serviced with Aston Martin on four occasions in 2015, 2016,2017 and 2020 and has an MoT test certificate valid until July 2023. 1990 Porsche 911 / 964 Carrera 2 Transmission: manualMileage:112150The 964 was produced between 1989 and 1994, and a standout car for its time which is possibly even more sought-after today. It has a sleek, modern look that is still recognisable and unique, which made it a very popular donor car for people choosing to build a backdated, or 'resto-mod' 911. The fact that so many 964's were used as the base for a 'resto-mod' build, means that very few un-modified examples remain, especially in rear wheel drive Carrera 2 guise.The 964 was the first 911 to be available with an all-wheel drive system and a special lightweight chassis that made it incredibly agile and capable of taking corners with ease. The engine was powerful and fuel efficient, making it a great choice for performance, or daily driving. It was also the first 911 to be fitted with an adjustable spoiler, which allowed the driver to adjust their aerodynamics and improve performance.This particular example is the 'holy grail' specification, being a non-sunroof, manual gearbox Carrera 2. 1999 Land Rover Defender 90 50th Anniversary Edition (2.8 litre) Transmission: manualMileage:269000The Land Rover Defender was launched in 1948 and, incredibly, production only finished in January 2016 after a continuous run of 67 years. Outwardly, there is little to distinguish the post-1983 vehicles from the Series III Land Rover. A full-length bonnet, revised grille, plus the fitting of wheel arch extensions to cover wider-track axles are the most noticeable changes. Internally, coil springs offered a more comfortable ride and a permanent four-wheel drive system derived from the Range Rover featuring a two-speed transfer gearbox with a lockable centre differential. A modernised interior and a new series of progressively more powerful and modern engine characterised things under the skin.This very rare right hand drive 50th Anniversary Edition was factory built in South Africa in 1999, there is a letter from Land Rover SA in history file confirming such, and was fitted with a BMW 2.8i six cylinder engine mated to a manual gearbox, which is superb according to the vendor. This vehicle was imported into the UK in 2016 and was subsequently restored. Only 26 of these limited edition 50th Anniversary models were made for South Africa and we understand that very few can be found in the UK. This is a wonderful edition with the smooth, powerful and reliable BMW engine, presented in its original colour combination of blue with black interior. A truly great workhorse ready to be used as it was built for.

1974 Jeep CJ-5 Transmission: manualMileage:35668The Willys CJ (later Jeep CJ) or 'Civilian Jeep' is a public version of the famous Willys Military Jeep from World War II. The first CJ prototype, the Willys CJ-2, was introduced in 1944 by Willys and the same basic vehicle stayed in production through seven variants and three corporate parents until 1986. The Willys CJ-5 (after 1964 Jeep CJ-5) was influenced by new corporate owner, Kaiser and the Korean War M38 Jeep. It was intended to replace the CJ-3B but that model continued in production. The CJ-5 repeated this pattern, continuing in production for three decades while three newer models appeared.This 1974 Jeep CJ-5 has undergone a near complete body off restoration by Bespoke Traders, the original paint was kept for authenticity and protected by eight layers of clear varnish and the interior was trimmed in a yellow faux ostrich skin. This Jeep is boasting a 4.3 litre straight-six with a custom stainless steel exhaust system and a powered coated chassis and wheels. The air filter cover has been painted by artist Nina Brooke to finish off this truly unique example. Having had a restoration costing far more than the estimate, this is the best way to enjoy the summer of 2023 and beyond.

1973 MG B Roadster Transmission: manualMileage:34284Conceived in the late 1950s and launched in 1962, the MGB would turn out to be one of the most successful sports cars of all time. Attractively styled, cheap to run and easily maintained by the home mechanic, the 'B' carried on MG's traditional role of providing affordable, sports car motoring for the ordinary enthusiast. The MGB was mechanically similar to the preceding MGA, though with a heavier, unitary construction bodyshell. To compensate for the newcomer's increased weight the existing B-Series engine was stretched from 1,622 to 1,798cc, while the MGB's aerodynamically efficient lines made the most of the maximum available 95bhp to achieve a top speed which just bested the magic 'ton'. A 'right first time' design that changed little over the years apart from the adoption of a more robust five-main-bearing engine in 1965 (fitted from the start of GT production that autumn) a minor facelift for 1970 and the adoption of plastic bumpers (to comply with US legislation) for 1975, the 'B' enjoyed an 18 year production life and sales totalling in excess of 500,000 cars. Its popularity remaining undiminished today, the classic MGB is one of the easiest sports cars of its era to run and maintain in the 21st Century, being served by a worldwide industry of spare parts and service providers.This lovely example is presented in dark blue with tan leather interior. It was purchased by the present owner in 2018 and he has had the car serviced every year since, keeping it garaged all the time also. He fitted a new DAB stereo with Bluetooth connection and has made sure the car has had a MoT test certificate every year, with the current MoT test certificate expiring in September 2023. Its gleaming dark blue paint is in good condition as is its black hood. The original interior has been upgraded to walnut dashboard and centre console, tan leather seats and central armrest and there is a chrome luggage rack mounted on the boot lid. Its 1800cc engine is mated to a four-speed gearbox with overdrive, which makes for great touring ability. A pretty British sports car which never loses appeal.

1974 Triumph TR6 Transmission: manualMileage:126000The Triumph TR6 was produced between 1969 and 1976 and, by the time production ended in July 1976, it was the best-seller of the TR range. In total 94,619 TR6s were manufactured of which 86,249 were sold overseas and only 8,370 were sold in the UK. The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, the TR5, but the front and rear were squared off and all TR6s featured inline six-cylinder engines. The TR6 featured a four-speed manual transmission and an optional equipment overdrive unit was a desirable feature because it gave drivers close-gearing for spirited driving whilst remaining an excellent touring car for open motorways. It also featured independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15 wheels and tyres, pile carpet on the floors and boot, bucket seats and a full complement of instrumentation. Braking was provided by disc brakes at the front and rear drum brakes.First registered on 4th April 1974 to a Mr. Pickering from Alnwick, this beautiful Mimosa Yellow TR6 was a UK home market supplied vehicle, which included the overdrive gearbox option from new. Purchased in 2006 by a Mr. Webster in Derby who ran the car until he began what developed into a comprehensive bodywork, engine and chassis restoration spanning several years. When the current owner, in Buckinghamshire, purchased the car in 2017 the expenditure didn't stop there. They have continued the sympathetic restoration which has included LED bulbs, re-chromed bumpers, ceramic coated exhaust manifold, complete new interior/door card, new seats, fuel pump and fuel line, electronic ignition, polyurethane bushes, high torque starter, refurbished inlet manifold and injectors, Oak Burr dash and wood door cappings and tonneau cover.Offered to auction with a V5C registration document, this MoT exempt sportscar is a genuine, privately owned, honest and useable classic. This TR6 represents fabulous value for money and would make an ideal addition to any collection or a perfect starting place for any classic car enthusiast. 2009 MyCar Coupé Transmission: automaticMileage:350After a tortuously delayed launch, the electric MyCar went on sale in London in 2009. Announced in the Summer of 2008 and originally slated for distribution by the NICE Car Company, the two seater city runabout looked doomed to obscurity after NICE went into administration. Although the performance is pretty mediocre, it will only run for 60 miles on one charge and the max speed is 40mph. The design is genuinely original and the interior feels solid. The firm distributing the MyCar was in fact EV Stores, based on Park Lane, these vehicles cost £9,995 when new.This amazing two-seater, with a truly international pedigree was designed by Giugiaro of Italdesign and was made in Hong Kong. This example is presented in blue with a black interior. It comes with its original user manual, original membership pack and new batteries were fitted in 2022. This great little runabout can be charged via a three pin, 13 amp, plug and has a range of 60 miles on a full charge. With minimal mileage covered, a V5C registration document and new MoT test certificate, this would be a fun and very economic two-seater to enjoy in town, particularly with fuel costs being what they are currently!

1970 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible by Karmann Transmission: manualMileage:14382In 1948, Wilhelm Karmann bought a standard Beetle and converted it into a four-seater convertible. After successfully presenting it at Volkswagen in Wolfsburg, Karmann began production of the Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet in 1949. After a number of stylistic and technical alterations made to it, the last of 331,847 cabriolets came off the conveyor belt on 10th January 1980, bringing with it the end of an era. In 1971, alongside continued production of the standard Beetle, a variant which featured Macpherson strut front suspension and a re-designed front end was introduced which was officially known and marketed in Europe as the 'VW 1302' from 1971 to 1972, and 'VW 1303' from 1973 onwards. The VW Beetle has seduced many a first time buyer, collector and classic car enthusiast. And for obvious reasons; the parts network is comprehensive and inexpensive, the ability to convert the base model into many different variants was always available and the cost of the car itself presented a gateway into classic car ownership.This lovely, right hand drive, 1970 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible by Karmann has been the subject to a full rebuild some time ago. This included fitting new chassis rails, floors, door skins and quarter panels. The engine was sent to a Volkswagen engine specialists who's instruction was to rebuild the engine with the emphasis on making it as robust as possible, rather than high performance. It was rebored out to 1776cc, fitted with a lightened flywheel, external oil filter and oil cooler, twin Weber carburettors, electronic ignition and stainless steel exhaust system. At the same time the black interior was replaced, and the body colour changed from blue to orange. According to the vendor this Volkswagen Beetle has been rebuilt for reliability and is capable of maintaining good speeds on motorways. The 1970 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible by Karmann is a timeless classic that continues to capture the hearts of car enthusiasts around the world. Its unique design, simplicity, and reliability have made it one of the most beloved cars of all time.

1934 Austin 'Speedex' Special Transmission: manualMileage:In Les Brown's 2017-published 'Special Obsessions' book the author outlined 15 reasons for the rise of the special in post-war Britain: 'Inventiveness', 'Practical Skills' and 'Surplus Parts' are some of the dozen-plus reasons why the specials movement took off, and then led to some suppliers and builders going on to greater things. One such was Jem Marsh, founder of Speedex and who later founded Marcos Cars. Today's classic scene has fully embraced the specials' movement, with many cars being resurrected in recent years for trialling, sprinting and racing events.For anyone looking for such a car this example offers an accurate snapshot of what a special should be. It is presented in polished aluminium with a black interior and comes with its original green logbook and the last three MoT test certificates. This pretty, agile and fun British sports car is powered by a 750cc engine and has twin SU carburettors and an LRM racing head. It comes also with an original Speedex parts book, Speedex information pack, Austin Seven handbook and a 2002 750 Motor Club bulletin showing Jem Marsh at the wheel of one of his Speedex cars. 1965 Triumph TR4A IRS (Surrey Top) Transmission: manualMileage:146405Produced between 1961 and 1967, the Triumph TR4 combined a new, modern, and aggressive body design by famed Italian stylist Giovanni Michelotti, with the basic chassis of the previous TR3A. The TR4 also improved passenger comfort with wind-up windows, face-level ventilation, and an optional hardtop. When equipped with the optional overdrive, the TR4 was good for a top speed of almost 110mph. Following on from the TR4, the new TR4A was phased in smoothly at the beginning of 1965 and introduced an all-new independent rear suspension system (IRS), which provided exceptional rear wheel camber control with excellent wheel travel while softer springs improved the ride quality. The press were happy to see an all-independent car, and Triumph were pleased to be the first British car manufacturer to have all-independent suspensions under every car in their line-up. At the Sebring 12 Hours in 1966, ample proof of the validity of the IRS was provided when three IRS equipped TR4As achieved a remarkable 1-2-3 class victory.This 1965 Triumph TR4A IRS with the 'Surrey Top' was purchased by the current owner's husband in October 1991, he acquired it from the previous owner who brought it in 1977. In the 1980's the car was stripped and repainted in the original colour of Azure Blue. Since 1991, the car has been fully maintained, including in 1992 when it was fitted with a modified cylinder head. In 2018, this TR4A was sent to marque specialists Rees Brothers, Aldershot for a major overhaul which cost in the region of £20,000. Fitted with a black interior, this Triumph TR4A IRS is supplied with a V5C registration document, the original owner's handbook and a file containing old V5 registration documents, old MoT test certificates, invoices and photographs from the 2018 overhaul and older invoices going back to 1991. This is a good, useable example with the rare 'Surrey Top' that requires cosmetic restoration to the bodywork to bring it back to show standard.

1989 Maserati Karif Transmission: manualMileage:24900The Karif or Tipo AM339 is a luxury coupé produced by Maserati between 1988 and 1991. Designed to mix luxury with sporty looks and agile handling, the Karif was announced with a limited production run of 255 examples. This is exactly what modern manufacturers do now and with great success, however only 221 Karifs were sold with late cars being sold long after this build date. Built on the same shortened chassis as the Zagato-bodied Maserati Spyder, they added a fixed notchback roof and used a more powerful iteration of their 'Biturbo engine', a 2.9 litre V6, giving around 260bhp. Reviewed in the motoring press at the time as having 'sawn off looks, shotgun performance'.Registered new on 3rd August 1989, this wonderful example presents in very good condition throughout and is a bit more special than the standard model, being one of just 25 right hand drive examples. Presented in Swan White coachwork over a blue leather and Alcantara interior the Karif looks superb. The paintwork retains a deep shine with very few blemishes to show and the interior is in excellent condition. Treated to much maintenance work over the years the history file includes receipts amounting to over £10,300. Fitted with a stainless-steel exhaust system the Maserati is reported to drive very well indeed by the current vendor. With just four owners from new this wonderful example comes complete with a comprehensive history file dating back to new. Offered with its original service booklet, many old MoT test certificates, sundry invoices, maintenance bills, the current V5 registration document, and an MoT test certificate valid until November 2023. This is a very rare example indeed and with its low mileage and superb history will be at home in any serious car collection.

1985 Volkswagen Scirocco GTi Transmission: manualMileage:80444The Scirocco is a three-door coupé undergoing two generations of development between 1974 and 1992 before being re-introduced for a third generation in August 2008. Volkswagen began work on the car during the early 1970's as the replacement for the ageing Karmann Ghia coupé. The platform of the Golf and Jetta was used to underpin the new Scirocco, although almost every part of the car was re-engineered in favour of a sportier drive and the model's all-new styling resulted in a sleeker and sportier car than either the Golf or Jetta. A heavily re-designed Mk. II variant went on sale in 1982; a unique feature of which was the location of the rear spoiler midway up the glass on the rear hatch. A mid-cycle update occurred in 1984 which included minor changes over the 1982 model; a redesigned air conditioning compressor, a modified brake master cylinder with in-line proportioning valves and a brake light switch mounted to the pedal instead of on the master cylinder, also a new space-saver spare wheel was added, which provided room for a larger fuel tank. Leather interior, power windows and mirrors, air conditioning, and a manual sunroof were options for all years. As with the first generation Scirocco's, the car was assembled on behalf of Volkswagen by Karmann of Osnabrück.This left hand drive, UK registered, totally original and rare example was supplied new to Germany and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is presented in gleaming red with black GTi cloth interior and comes with, its original brochure, price list, radio, Scirocco Club register owner, electric windows, twin headlights and has low mileage considering its year of manufacture. These were striking looking sports coupés when produced originally and they have certainly survived the passage of time in terms of design. Great fun and very retro!

2002 MG F Transmission: manualMileage:87000The MG F was the first new model designed as an MG since the MGB that was produced from 1962 to 1980. It was initially designed by the Rover Group during the period it was owned by British Aerospace and was brought to market after the business had been sold to the German car manufacturer BMW. It was powered by a 1.8 Litre K-Series 16-valve engine, the basic having 118 bhp while the more powerful VVC (variable valve control) had 143 bhp. Steve Harper of MGA Developments produced the initial design concept in January 1991 having been inspired by the Jaguar XJR-15 and the Ferrari 250LM, before Rover's in house design team refined the concept under the leadership of Gerry McGovern. An interesting feature of the F was its Hydragas suspension, a system employing interconnected fluid and gas displacers which provided a surprisingly compliant ride, but which could be tuned to provide excellent handling characteristics.Originally registered on 27th November 2002, this MG F is presented in Oxford Blue with a black interior and has a white hardtop. The knowledgeable vendor has recently fitted a new head gasket to the car and describes the car as driving with no known faults. It has electric windows and is powered by the potent 1.8 litre engine mated to a five-speed gearbox, providing lively performance on the open roads. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate, this MG F is offered without reserve and is an ideal way to experience open top motoring.

2004 Mercedes-Benz Vito 115 CDi LWB Camper Transmission: manualMileage:186900The Vito is a minivan produced by Mercedes-Benz and was available as a standard panel van for cargo called Vito, or with passenger accommodations substituted for part or all of the load area called V-Class or Viano. The first generation went on sale in 1996 and the second generation was introduced in 2004. Available in both rear and four-wheel drive configurations and three lengths, two wheelbases and a choice of four petrol and diesel engines (as well as two specialist tuned models) coupled to either a six-speed manual or five-speed TouchShift automatic transmission.Originally registered in July of 2004 and with just five former keepers, this very presentable example is finished in silver with complementary grey trim and a five-speed TouchShift automatic gearbox. Originally a Vito long wheelbase van, it was professionally converted by the previous owner to be the ideal day tripper. The original manuals for the conversion are in the history file and are complemented by various Mercedes-Benz invoices and MoT test certificates, the most recent valid until October 2023. 1954 Austin A30 Saloon (AS4) Transmission: manualMileage:670Based on a concept drawn by Raymond Loewy, the Austin A30, and latterly the A35, was the brand's entry-level model for post-war Britain, but its ability goes way deeper than its charming styling. As Austin's rival to the Morris Minor, the car utilised a more modern and stiffer monocoque construction. It has since forged a formidable reputation in historic classic saloon racing as a 'giant killer' and it's well documented that both Graham Hill and James Hunt were very fond of its abilities as indeed were more recent Goodwood Revival stars, Rae Davis and Martin Brundle in their favourite race, the St. Mary's Trophy.There is little history to accompany this example although a little sleuthing may uncover some competition work in its recent past. The interior has been minimised to an extent, the windows are fixed and the brightwork is now matt black to show a more menacing face to the opposition. Additionally, the trafficators have been removed and the steel wheels, shod with fresh rubber and match the matt black bumpers. 1965 Saab 96 Transmission: manualMileage:The Saab 96 was manufactured and marketed from 1960 to January 1980, replacing the 93. The 96 featured aerodynamic two-door bodywork, four passenger seating and at first a two-stroke, three-cylinder engine, later a four-stroke V4. The front end was lengthened for 1965 models, in preparation for a new engine, and the radiator was placed ahead of the engine rather than above and behind, a leftover from the thermosiphon cooling days. Both front and rear windows were enlarged slightly for 1968 models. The Saab 96 was driven most famously by Erik Carlsson in many international rallies, coming first in the 1960, 1961 and 1962 RAC Rallies and first in the 1962 and 1963 Monte Carlo Rallies.It was these successive, top-level victories that put the Saab 96 'on the map' and established its reputation for reliability and toughness. Carlsson also competed in the East African Safari Rally.Famous rallying names such as Simo Lampinen, Per Eklund, Pat Moss-Carlsson, Tom Trana, Stig Blomqvist and Carl Orrenius have also been connected with the Saab 96.This rare, left hand drive two-stroke, three-cylinder example is presented in blue with two-tone blue interior. The engine has been 'tweaked' in order to keep up with modern traffic a bit better and sounds great! Its interior is original and it has two extra lights mounted to the front. These models are extremely rare, even the great private collector Jay Leno has one in his private collection!

1997 Rover Mini Cooper Transmission: manualMileage:68600The Mini was manufactured by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 until 2000. The original Mini is considered a British icon of the 1960's and its space-saving front-wheel drive layout allowed 80% of the car's floorpan to be used for passengers and luggage, influencing a generation of car makers. In 1999, the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century behind the Ford Model T.This Mini Cooper was originally registered on 10th December 1997 and is finished in metallic purple with John Cooper Works decals and racing stripes. Both the interior and exterior are presented in good order having been well cared for in the current vendors ownership. Acquired by our vendor in 2010 the Mini has been dry stored since and has been treated to various maintenance work. A new ECU was fitted to the car, the sills were restored, the heater matrix was replaced and in 2014 the engine was rebuilt and upgraded to 1350cc. The vendor reports that the Mini runs very well and is offered with a sizeable history file including various sundry bills, invoices of maintenance work, old MoT test certificates, the current UK registration document and a MoT valid until December 2023. Also included in the sale is a new replacement wooden dashboard. Offered for sale without reserve, this is an ideal entry into classic car motoring at a relatively modest outlay.

V is now regarded as probably the best incarnation of the legendary GTi after the original Mk. 1979 Honda Dax ST50 Transmission: manualMileage:The Honda ST-Series minibikes are known as the Dax in Japan and Europe, and the Trail 70 in Canada and the US. The ST50, ST70, and CT70 were introduced in August 1969 and produced through 1981. A key feature of the ST-Series is the pressed-steel 'T-bone' frame that distinguishes it from Honda's other minibikes. As a general description, the ST-Series bikes have a bench-style saddle, small fat tyres, and folding handlebars. They have an air-cooled four-stroke engine with either a three-speed semi-automatic transmission, with an automatic centrifugal clutch, or a four-speed manual gearbox. Due to the diminutive wheel-size and limited speed, the ST-Series bikes do not always qualify as road-legal vehicles and were sold in some markets for off-road recreation only. 2007 Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Convertible Transmission: manualMileage:81690Introduced in 2007, the CLK 63 AMG is the convertible version of F1's 2006/7 safety car. Its 6.2 litre, DOHC, 32-valve all-alloy V8 engine is rated at 475bhp and 465lb/ft of torque and is renowned for its soundtrack. The M156 power unit featured an aluminium block and heads and port fuel injection. Handbuilt by AMG, the engines bear a plaque with the name of its builder, in this case Pascal Pankratz.This impressive, right hand drive example was first registered on 11th September 2007 and is resplendent in black metallic paintwork with a black leather interior and a black roof. The car was extensively specified from new and is offered with a history file including good service history, maintenance bills, old MoT records and a recent MoT test certificate valid until January 2024. 1927 MG Morris Oxford 14/40 Super Sports Special Transmission: manualMileage:24249Conceived and built in the truest sense of the classic coachbuilt motorcar, this 1927-vintage model uses the chassis, engine and drivetrain from a Morris Oxford as the genesis and inspiration by the previous owner, Beverley Hicks, to create this Super Sports Special, scaled up from a 1928 M-Type, the genesis MG from the Kimber factory. The initial drawings can still be seen in the comprehensive history file as well as the photographic progress of the build. With a beautifully constructed aluminium bonnet and scuttle and a complementing rear fabric-covered boat tail section which houses a stainless steel fuel tank and a surprisingly spacious luggage compartment, this complexly bespoke motorcar was ready for the road in 2003. The smooth 1.8 Litre engine has a Ricardo-type cylinder head, a lightened flywheel, a dyno-driven magneto and a Kenlowe electric fan, all of which are driven through a Morris four-speed gearbox sourced from an MG P-Type. The engine has been completely rebuilt with bills to go with it and has covered few miles since. The interior is trimmed in red leather with custom-made matching carpets alongside a handy double tonneau cover and hood. This sturdy MG-Morris has taken part in numerous competitions and trials with many photographs, magazine cut-outs and entrance forms accompanying the history file. Two brand-new spare tyres and accompanying inner tubes plus regulatory fire extinguisher etc. to make the car VSCC compliant for speed trial/hill climbs accompany the car as well as a file of original design drawings and circuit diagrams. The sub second hand has fallen off be we do have this to reattach. The balance staff is fine and the balance wheel moves when lightly touched. It doesn't move freely when lightly shaking the watch. The hairspring looks slightly misshapen.we will be able to post this with our in house postal service.
