Roland RS-505 Paraphonic. Has operational issues but can be used (see below). Paraphonic string ensemble synthesizer from the late 70s. Known for its warm string and brass sounds. Unique ensemble chorus effect. It is in need of a service. Problems: –– Cosmetically it is great except for one switch missing (the Auto/Off/Manual button) - it's stuck on. – SYNTH selection is suffering badly from crackle and dropouts. Cool to sample bits but it's just too temperamental. It slowly has deteriorated.– BASS selections of Contrabass/Tuba/Cello crackle and drop out, but then will be fine if you don't touch the setting. It's temperamental, but it seems to settle. But of course not ideal. – STRING selection sounds great no problems.– outputs, power cable and outer casing all in good condition.
