The four parts cover anatomy, love & desire, reproduction, and impotence & infertility respectively.We have been unable to trace this edition in any institutional library and it has only appeared at auction twice in recent years. Most English editions are translations of the eighth edition, appearing from 1707 onwards, and the earliest in the British Library and Wellcome is the third edition of 1712. The most recent copy at auction was in 2024 but this contained only 8pp. of preliminaries compared to 28pp. in the present copy.
