Desirable manual gearbox carHardtop roof includedVanos system plus major service in 2020The BMW M3 is one of the most iconic sports cars of all time. The vehicle first entered production in 1986 and quickly became known for its high performance and excellent driving dynamics. The E46 generation of M3s was produced from 2000 to 2006 and was the third generation of the M3. The E46 generation was powered by the legendary S54 3.2 litre inline six-cylinder engine, which produced 343bhp and could boast a redline of 8000rpm. This power was sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, or the optional SMG semi-automatic. The E46 M3 was also equipped with several performance features, including a limited-slip differential, larger brakes and improved suspension. The E46 M3 was praised for its handling and power, and it is still considered to be one of the best M3s ever made.First registered on 7th March 2003, the beautiful M3 convertible on offer here has led a pampered life having been extremely well cared for. Supplied with the desirable six-speed manual gearbox and 19” alloy wheels as well as a hardtop roof, the car also comes with the private plate M300 OOF. The service book shows 16 stamps consisting of both main dealer and specialist stamps. Recent maintenance includes to the VANOS system, solenoid pack, upgraded timing chain guide, new timing chain, con-rod bearings, battery, alternator, clutch, gearbox service, new tyres all round and a new exhaust system. The Rover P4 series of cars were manufactured from 1949 through to 1964 during which period several models were produced: the Rover 60, 75, 80, 90, 95, 100, 105 and 110 models. Apart from the 60 and 80, the models all had in-line six-cylinder engines with overhead inlet valves and side exhaust valves. Various transmissions were used including either a manual overdrive box or, until 1959, the option of the manual gearbox with a free wheel unit. The bodies were mounted on a separate chassis with independent suspension, by coil springs at the front and semi elliptical leaf springs at the rear. By 1950 the brakes were fully hydraulic with discs at the front becoming standard from 1959. The final member of the P4 family was the P4 95 and 110 series. Introduced in 1962, the car was luxurious with its silky 2.6 litre straight six engine and stopping power via the power assisted Girling brakes. The coachwork featured an alloy bonnet, doors and boot lid with the interior finished in wood and leather.Supplied new on 12th April 1963 by R.H Collier, a Rover dealer in Birmingham, this wonderful 110 with overdrive is presented in Light Grey over Dark Grey coachwork with a contrasting red trim. The car was restored between 1990/1991 and we are informed this included a full respray and chrome replacement, at that stage the interior was left as original but appears in very good condition. Accompanying the car is a history file with a box of miscellaneous information alongside restoration photos and recent invoices for routine work and servicing. This information informs us that the purchaser of the car in 1990 recorded the mileage 68,412, approx. 30,000 miles less than the current mileage some 35 years later (thus averaging less than 1,000 miles per year). Our vendor states the engine runs very well with good pulling power and the overdrive works well. Purchased privately for a sum of £16,250 in early 2023 from a Rover enthusiast, this represents a very good example of the P4 and as such viewing is recommended. The BMW E46 M3 Convertible, produced between 2001 and 2006, is an iconic open-top performance car. Powered by a 3.2 litre inline-six S54 engine, it delivers 333 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or SMG transmission. The E46 M3 is revered for its balanced handling, precise steering, and high-revving engine, making it one of the most engaging M cars ever. The convertible version adds open-air driving excitement without compromising too much on performance. While slightly heavier than the coupé, it still provides thrilling dynamics and remains a sought-after modern classic among enthusiasts. This desirable BMW was registered in September 2005 and looks good in the classic colour combination of silver metallic paintwork with a contrasting black leather interior and black convertible roof. This look is enhanced with Sat Nav, heated seats and 19” wheels. This impressive BMW featured at length on the YouTube video made by High Peak Autos. The video describes in detail the works undertaken to make the car the stunning example that our vendor purchased in 2022. The car has seen little use since it was purchased and has been garaged during this time. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document, a fresh MoT test certificate, service history and factory hardtop. Popularity for the E46 M3 remains undiminished and this stunning example deserves consideration. Consigned by Dominic Lake.
The Triumph TR3 was built between 1955 and 1957 and was powered by a 1991cc engine which initially produced 95bhp increasing to 100bhp at 5000rpm. The four-speed manual transmission could be supplemented by an overdrive unit on the top three ratios electrically operated and controlled by a switch on the dashboard. In 1956, the front brakes changed from drum to disc becoming the first British series production car to be so fitted. Because of these disc brakes, the TR3 and subsequent TR3A's became known for their superior braking ability making it an autocross favourite. In 1957, the TR3 was replaced by an updated version, the TR3A, which included new wide front grille, exterior door handles, lockable boot handle and came with a full toolkit as standard, although the TR3A's still retained the 1991cc engine. This very special 1957 TR3 Sports car has benefitted from some high-end driver focused upgrades. Originating from the US, this vehicle has had some serious works to the suspension, brakes, steering and is fitted with a very slick five-speed gearbox. The items that usually disappoint in a TR3 have been addressed and be prepared for a car that accelerates, steers and brakes like a car of far more modern times. Visually the car looks gorgeous in Pale Primrose, complemented by the Saddle Tan leather interior, edged Caramel carpets, black vinyl hood and the wooden steering wheel. In May 2019, new front brake discs and pads were fitted along with brake hoses and caliper seal repair kits. It was also fitted with a Delphi remote vacuum brake servo. There are many invoices for servicing, parts and maintenance since arriving in UK which can be found in the history file and a recent oil and filter service has just been carried out. Recently the carbs have been rebuilt with a professional engine set up and specialist tune up at an approximate cost of circa £1,000 added to which a new radiator has also been fitted. This TR3 looks fantastic and drives extremely well with the owner saying ‘be prepared for its surprisingly good acceleration’. The perfect British classic sports car. Consigned by James Good. Factory fittted power-assisted steeringSubject to cosmetic and mechanical restorationRecently serviced by Aston EngineeringThe Aston Martin DB6 was launched at the London Motor Show in 1965, following on from the highly successful DB5, immortalised by the 1964 James Bond film 'Goldfinger'. The front of the DB6 was visually similar to the DB5 but closer inspection revealed quite a different car. The wheelbase was lengthened allowing additional passenger space in the rear along with a raised roof line and a Kamm-tail rear spoiler for improved high-speed stability. The profile of the rear quarter lights echoed those of the DB4 GT Zagato, a styling theme that continued through to the DBS and V8 models until production finished in 1990.This gorgeous example is finished in the original and rare colour of Ming Blue, punctuated by bright chrome accents and complemented by dark blue Connolly leather trim with a wooden-rimmed steering wheel and neutral-coloured headliner. Sitting on a set of 15-inch chrome wire wheels with triple-eared spinners, the specification of this example includes the rare power-assisted steering, Motorola radio, powered aerial and a stainless-steel exhaust. The paintwork was resprayed in 2022 and is in generally excellent condition but for some small marks near the passenger’s door handle and a minor imperfection on the front passenger-side wing which is visible only under close inspection. All areas of the exterior trim have been re-chromed where necessary and as such the car presents extremely well indeed.Circa 2022, the cabin was retrimmed in Connolly Vaumol leather by Aston Martin specialist Matthew Hill Coach Trimming who also replaced the headlining and carpets in line with the original specification. There is mild wear on the steering wheel, marks inside the glovebox and a little time-earned patina across some of the dials and controls, otherwise the elegant cabin presents in fantastic order.Included in the history file are two large files of paperwork, the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate, V5C registration document, historic tax discs and MoT test certificates. Under the bonnet sits a rebuilt 4.0 litre straight-six, delivering 282bhp and 280lb-ft to the rear wheels through the original and rare five-speed ZF manual transmission. The engine which was rebuilt in 2010 complete with an unleaded cylinder head, was then subsequently compression tested (all even at 140 psi on all six cylinders). A full service was performed in 2016, the carburettors were rebuilt in July 2022 at a cost of £3,466 and in July 2027 our vendor took the car to Aston Engineering in Derby for a factory specification 5,000 mile service which included four new tyres, minor maintenance work and an engine tune which amounted to £6,254. Our vendor states he would jump in this car and drive from his home in Cheshire to Scotland tomorrow, such is his confidence in the car.The car has always been garaged in an insulated and dehumidified garage by our vendor and by the previous owner, from whom he purchased the car for £261,500 with both owners having this stunning example as part of a larger car collection. This is a wonderfully presented example of the DB6 and the subject of several major mechanical works and recent service as well as a respray and retrim completed to a high standard with a focus on originality. It would be a credit to any collection and is sure to delight as a thoroughly sophisticated weekend cruiser or special event car for any marque enthusiast. Viewing is highly recommended to appreciate this elegant and refined ‘gentleman’s express’. Very low mileageRecently recommissionedFabulous unmarked conditionThe 1999 Audi TT was a groundbreaking model that left a lasting impact on the automotive world. First introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1995 as a concept car, the TT quickly became a production reality, hitting the market in 1999. Designed by the legendary Peter Schreyer, the TT’s striking, geometric lines and distinctive coupé silhouette made it an instant icon. The car was praised for its bold design, featuring a round, almost Bauhaus-inspired aesthetic, with smooth, sculpted curves that were both futuristic and timeless. Under the bonnet, the 1999 Audi TT was available with multiple engine configurations. The entry-level model featured a 1.8 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering around 180 horsepower. This engine was paired with Audi's renowned Quattro all-wheel-drive system, providing excellent traction and handling in a variety of conditions. The five-speed manual transmission was standard, with an optional six-speed manual or automatic for those seeking more convenience. The Audi TT’s interior was equally impressive, combining luxurious materials with a minimalist yet functional layout. Its high-quality finishes, supportive seats, and user-friendly technology set a new standard for sports coupés. Audi's attention to detail, from the circular air vents to the unique dashboard design, ensured that the TT wasn’t just about performance but also about the experience of driving. Despite its compact size, the 1999 TT offered surprisingly comfortable handling, with an emphasis on precise steering and a stable ride. It attracted both performance lovers and those looking for a stylish, everyday car.Originally registered on 4th February 1999, this left hand drive Audi was used up until 2002 and then put in to storage, hence the very low mileage of only 21,400 Km (13,297 miles). • 7.2 litre 385bhp V8• Matching numbers• Owners club exampleThe Jensen Interceptor was launched in 1966 and the all-steel bodyshell broke away from the company's traditional method of construction that used GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic). Designed by Carrozzeria Touring, the early cars were built by Vignale before production eventually was carried out at the Jensen works in West Bromwich. Power was delivered by the Chrysler 6276cc, V8 through a TorqueFlite automatic transmission and final drive being a Salisbury axle with limited slip differential. A manual gearbox was offered as an option. 1968 saw the addition of power steering and, in 1969, the Mk. II was introduced with detail upgrades that included a revised front end and ventilated disc brakes. 1971 saw the introduction of the Mk. III; the engine size was increased to 7212cc and, it was at this time, the most powerful engine Jensen had produced. The imposing presence, power and distinctive shape that included the wrap around glass rear hatch drew the rich and famous to the marque and famously, Princess Anne owned one. Production ceased in 1976 with a total of 6408 Mk. I, Mk. II and Mk. III Interceptors built between 1966 and 1976.Built in 1973 and first registration on 1st May 1974, this wonderful metallic burgundy matching numbers Mk. III Interceptor was purchased by our vendor in 2024 from its long-term owner, a Jensen Club member. The car has always been garaged and used sparingly but sadly due to ill health, our vendor is no longer able to drive the car and it must be sold. The car itself is in very good order with a deep metallic paint finish that has seen little ill effect since its body restoration in the late 90’s. Boasting a thunderous 7.2 litre V8, power steering, automatic gearbox and period correct features including Carter Thermoquad carburettor, original air cleaner and rocker covers. The comprehensive history file provides us with build records and first owner details. A recent ‘light recommissioning’ was carried out in 2024 and the car has been used very little of late, mainly for shows and events. Since its restoration and benefitted in 2009 from a full retrim in soft black leather and lambswool seat inserts. Factory extras included electric windows, full leather seats, air conditioning, chrome door seal trims and chrome kick plates. More recent works include a replacement fuel pump and renewal of the rear pinion seal coupled to a recent vehicle check and MoT test certificate. The engine rumbles beautifully and started first time when viewed, an effortless engine with a smooth and fabulous soundtrack coupled to the Torqueflite three speed automatic gearbox. Luxurious, but with a characteristically sporty feel, the interior of the Interceptor provides a fantastic driving experience and the Jensen Owners’ Club is one of the friendliest around for assistance with maintenance and driving opportunities. The 1952 Ford F-1 Pick-up is a standout in the history of American trucks, combining rugged utility with a touch of post-war design elegance. It’s a part of Ford’s first-generation F-Series, which was introduced in 1948, marking a significant shift for the brand. By 1952, the F-1 had undergone some refinements, both in performance and style, but it still retained much of the character that made it a firm favourite. Under the bonnet, the F-1 was powered by Ford's 239-cubic-inch flathead V8 engine, which was mated to a three-speed manual transmission, offering drivers a hands-on experience that was standard for the era. Visually, the 1952 F-1 has a classic, slightly rounded design that feels both tough and refined. The front grille was wide and bold, with vertical chrome bars flanked by round headlights. The bonnet had a distinctive peak, a design element that added character while hinting at the vehicle’s performance potential. The truck’s arches were slightly flared, giving it a muscular look without being too overbearing. The rear bed was built for utility, designed to carry large loads but also offering plenty of space for customisation, whether it be for business or personal use. Inside, the F-1 featured a straightforward yet comfortable cabin. The bench seat could accommodate three people, and the dashboard was simple but well-constructed, with chrome accents and easy-to-read gauges. While not luxurious, it provided a practical and reliable interior for the time. This F-1 Pick-up has been beautifully restored to a very good standard. The vendor purchased the vehicle in 2011 as a project, he then spent a number of years ensuring work was carried out to the quality. The result of the vendors fastidious nature is a Ford Pick-up that presents exceedingly well. The bodywork shows no sign of corrosion and the red coachwork appears to have been done to a very high standard. The interior has been retrimmed and is blemish free. The load space to the rear has been trimmed in wood and is unmarked. With every panel straight and unmarked, this really is an eye-catching piece of American motoring history. We are advised this F-1 drives with no known faults and it certainly draws admiring glances wherever it appears. Supplied with a V5 registration document and a history folder, this surely must be one of the best examples available on the market today. The 1952 Ford F-1 Pick-up became a symbol of versatility and durability, it has gained a loyal following among classic car enthusiasts, and today, a well-restored F-1 is a prized collector's item. Good history folderLargely original conditionThe Fiat X1/9 represents the culmination of a model that was both revolutionary and iconic in the realm of compact sports cars. Introduced in 1972 and produced until 1989, the X1/9 was designed by Italian styling house Bertone and engineered to combine practicality, affordability, and enjoyable driving dynamics. One of the X1/9's defining features is its mid-engine layout, a rarity in affordable cars of its era. By placing the engine behind the driver and ahead of the rear axle, the X1/9 achieved a near-perfect weight distribution, translating into great handling and cornering stability. The car’s angular, wedge-shaped design was strikingly modern when it debuted, with clean lines, pop-up headlights, and a removable targa top that allowed for open-air driving. Bertone branding was prominent in later years as Fiat handed over full production to the design firm in the early 1980. The X1/9 was powered by a 1.5 litre inline-four engine, producing around 75 horsepower. While modest by today’s standards, the lightweight construction (approximately 2,100 pounds) ensured nimble performance and responsive handling. A five-speed manual transmission added to the driving engagement, making the X1/9 a joy on winding roads. Despite its sporty nature, the X1/9 was remarkably practical. It featured two luggage compartments-one in the front and one in the rear-making it more versatile than many other sports cars of its time. The removable targa roof panel could be stowed neatly in the front boot, ensuring an open-air experience without sacrificing space.First registered on 29th July 1988 this Bertone built Fiat X1/9 presents in delightful condition. The red coachwork is largely original as is the grey velour interior, both are in very good order. The engine starts immediately when requested and we are advised this Fiat drives with no known faults. The owners’ manuals are present as are two sets of keys. There is a significant history file with this low mileage X1/9 confirming that this has clearly been a well looked after car. Just 147 miles from newSurely one of the lowest mileage examples in existenceOriginal purchase invoice includedThe first-generation Ford Transit or the Transit Mk. I was introduced in October 1965, taking over directly from the Ford Thames 400E, and has been in continuous production in three basic generations to the present day. The van was produced initially at Ford's Langley facility in Berkshire (a former Second World War aircraft factory which had produced Hawker Hurricane fighters), but demand outstripped the capability of the plant, and production was moved to Southampton until its closure in 2013. In March 1978, a face lifted version, commonly known as the Mk. II Transit, debuted with a restyled nose section, taken from the U.S. Mk. III Econoline, with a new interior, and the introduction of the Pinto engine from the Ford Cortina in place of the Essex V4 unit. The Mk. II was available in six body styles: Van, Kombi, Chassis Cab, Parcel Van, Bus and Crewbus all available in short-wheelbase (2690mm) and long-wheelbase (3000mm) versions. A selection of five engines were available: 1.6-litre OHC Petrol, 1.6-litre OHV Petrol (Kent), 2.0-litre OHC Petrol, 2.0-litre OHC Petrol (Economy) and 2.4-litre Diesel. On top of this were 32 door combinations, six-axle ratios and options for 12-17 interior seats. This particularly example is quite incredible, possibly unrepeatable, having covered just 147 miles from new. The story goes that this LWB twin axle two-litre petrol panel van variant was ordered brand new on March 18th1983 from Paynes Garages Ltd Hinckley by a Mr Sugden. It was purchased by him personally for his business, but unfortunately the business lost a large contract very soon after and went out of business, meaning the van was surplus to requirements. It then sat in the dealer’s showroom for another three years when the dealer asked if they could register it as they needed to meet their sales target. It was registered on September 30th 1987 with registration number E322 EAY but still was never put on the road and the bumpers have never had number plates fitted. The original 1983 invoice showing the new price of £7,594.54 is included, as well as the original registration document in Mr Sudgens name. The van is in very good overall condition and is pretty much the way it came out the factory minus some small surface marks and storage imperfections, we are advised it starts first time with the manual choke and idles smoothly. The interior is as expected, affectively as new. This is the ideal example for a collector or even as a display vehicle for a Ford dealership, it is likely one of if not the lowest mileage example available anywhere and is an opportunity not to be missed. Consigned by Fraser Smith Interested parties should note that contrary to the catalogue description, this Lot is sold without a V5C registration document and the new owner will need to apply for a new, they will become the second registered keeper from new. Comprehensive service history with a record of 17 servicesDesirable 2+2 seating configurationA total of 1,086 Vanquish S models were manufactured between 2005 and 2007 following the cars debut at the 2004 Paris Motor Show. Offering a power increase over the standard vanquish that it replaced from 460bhp to 520bhp, other changes included new wheels, a slightly different nose shape, new raised boot lid with a larger integrated spoiler and the addition of a small front splitter for aerodynamic reasons which help the Vanquish S boast an improved drag coefficient. The exterior panels were still lovingly hand finished in the factory panel shop from ‘Super-formed’ aluminium. Discreet changes to ‘S’ included a bigger, revised grille, front splitter and a raised rear ‘spoiler’ built into the boot lid to keep the car stable at high speed. With a top speed exceeding 200mph, the Vanquish S was, at the time, the fastest Aston Martin ever produced. This Vanquish S is presented in the surprisingly rare shade of Titanium Silver; Vanquish S models are so often seen in grey or black. The silver paintwork suits the aggressive lines of the Vanquish so well. Having covered less than 40,000 miles from new, the car is in excellent condition throughout, with only minor age-related marks. Service history is so important on these cars and this example has clearly been cherished throughout its life, having been serviced by main dealers and specialists 17 times, never going as far as 6,000 miles or 18 months between services. The most recent service was carried out by Aston Martin Chichester about 200 miles ago. These cars are such incredible GT cars and would make an ideal car for touring Europe, they are also beginning to look like incredible value today. Desirable ‘CP’ 150bhp modelConcours winning carFrame off nut and bolt restorationThe Triumph TR6 was manufactured for seven years from 1969 and by the time production came to an end in July 1976, it was the best-seller of the TR range. The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, the Triumph TR5, but the front and rear were squared off and all TR6s featured inline six-cylinder engines. For the US market, the engine was fitted with carburettors whilst, for other world markets including the UK, the TR6 was fitted with fuel-injection. It featured a four-speed manual gearbox, independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15" wheels and tyres, pile carpet on the floors and boot, bucket seats and a full complement of instruments. In total 94,619 TR6’s were built of which 86,249 were sold overseas and only 8,370 were sold in the UK.First registered on 5th February 1971, this desirable ‘CP’ 150bhp is a UK supplied home market car boasting the sought after overdrive gearbox. The car was subject to a ‘frame off’ restoration completed in 2016. Stripped down to the bare metal, the supplied photo books show the meticulous attention given to the car throughout the restoration. Presenting beautifully in Yasmin Yellow, the paintwork is impressive having been carried out by the well renowned Yorkshire based Malton Coachworks. The rest of the work was carried out by similarly well renowned companies such as TRGB who rebuilt the engine to Stage 2 specification, all running through a full stainless steel exhaust system. A new mohair hood has been fitted complimenting the excellent interior. Owned by the vendor since 2016 the car has been cherished by him and has several trophies from concours events including a 1st place win in 2018.Supplied with its V5 registration document, substantial history file, photo record of restoration and previous MoT test certificates dating back to 1987 as well as a current MoT test certificate valid until November 2025. This is an impressive example of a British classic. Good condition TR6’s are difficult to come across and this one stands a step above the rest. Time-warp exampleRetained by original owner for 38 yearsRecent major service including beltsThe initial four generations of the Supra were produced from 1978 to 2002. The fifth generation has been produced since March 2019 and went on sale in May 2019. The styling of the original Supra was derived from the Toyota Celica, but it was both longer and wider, more of a GT offering. Starting in mid-1986, the A70 Supra became a separate model from the Celica. In turn, Toyota also stopped using the prefix Celica and named the car ‘Supra’.This particular example can only be described as ‘time-warp’. The original owner kept this car for 38 years, ownership only changing hands to our vendor in 2024. Our vendor purchased this car for his father, who used to own an A70 Supra. However it has seen very little use, so the decision has been made to sell the car in the hope it will go to an enthusiast or collector who fully appreciates just how special this example is. The overall condition of the car is extremely impressive, the interior shows almost no wear and the paintwork is in great order too. The owner’s manual and service book are present, there is not a huge number of services recorded, due to the lack of use, but a major service has been carried out during our vendor’s ownership with belts and fluids changed. This Supra was clearly used very occasionally by the original owner, probably only dry miles, and the engine bay is extremely clean, giving the impression it has probably never had a chance to accumulate much road dirt at all. Supplied to auction with a V5 registration document, MoT test certificate valid until August 2025 and a history file containing owner’s books and sundry invoices for works over the years. The Ford Model A Cabriolet, produced between 1928 and 1931, is a classic piece of automotive history, blending style, innovation, and practicality. It was part of Ford’s revolutionary Model A line-up, which replaced the popular Model T and marked the beginning of a new era in automobile design. The Ford Model A Cabriolet was powered by a 3.3 litre, four-cylinder engine that produced 40 horsepower, which was a significant improvement over the Model T's engine. This allowed the Cabriolet to reach speeds of up to 65 mph, a noticeable upgrade in terms of performance for its time. The engine was paired with a three-speed manual transmission, making the driving experience both engaging and straightforward. What set the Cabriolet apart from other vehicles of the era was its design. It featured a stylish folding soft top, allowing for an open-air driving experience when the weather was right, and a fully enclosed body when needed. The elegant bodywork was complemented by chrome accents and stylish wheels, making the Cabriolet an attractive and sought-after model. Inside, the cabin was comfortable, with simple yet durable upholstery that reflected the utilitarian nature of Ford vehicles. The Model A Cabriolet was affordable, with a base price that was accessible to middle-class families while still offering a sense of prestige. Its versatility made it popular for both everyday driving and leisurely outings. This Model A Cabriolet is thought to be just one of only three examples in the UK. It has clearly been restored at a high standard and presents in delightful condition. Finished in blue, with black running boards and a new beige hood, this Ford is certainly a handsome car. The vendor has carried out an extensive restoration over a long period. However, due to lack of use and the loss of suitable storage space, the time is right for the car to be sold. The issue is likely to be through lack of use, as the Model A was running when put into the garage. In right hand drive format, this stylish piece of Americana has a Dickey seat for occasional use. Offered for sale with a V5 and a history folder with a collection of receipts. Today, the Ford Model A Cabriolet remains a symbol of the early days of the automobile industry and continues to be celebrated by classic car enthusiasts around the world. One owner from newExtremely good conditionOnly a mere 34,074 miles from new As one of the most durable and capable 4x4s ever produced, the Land Rover Discovery has completely stood the test of time. On any given day you’re likely to see one out and about as there are so many still going strong on the road today. Effortlessly combining incredible off-road capabilities with luxury level spec, supreme comfort and practicality for all the family to enjoy, it’s no wonder they’ve notoriously been the number one choice for landowners and farmers. As a one owner car from new, this fabulous example is presented in Niagra Grey and was used on rare and family occasions only and not seen rough ground since the day it was purchased at Mann Egerton (Land Rover dealer) in April 1996. The incredible condition should really be seen in the flesh, with its fantastic bodywork and an interior that has held up so well in grey leather. It’s in totally original condition, (unrestored) and is powered by the superb 4.0 litre V8 engine mated to a manual gearbox. The original service book confirms the ownership as does the original V5C and current up to date V5C. The service book confirms the VIN, engine number and of course the record of the servicing. Despite the super low mileage, it’s been looked after with eight services stamped in the book all of which carried out by Land Rover dealers and specialists exclusively. This 4X4 is absolutely fantastic and with its delightful V8 providing the power, it’s a superb utility vehicle with comfort to match. This surely must be the finest available of this model in the UK. • Recent full engine rebuild• Extensive history file and expenditure• One of 220 Giallo Ginestra examplesThe Lancia Delta was launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1979 and is best known for its domination of the World Rally Championship in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Constantly being developed, the first 'Evolution' cars were built at the end of 1991 and carried on through 1992; these models were the final homologation cars built for the Lancia Rally Team competing under the Martini Racing banner. In June 1993, the second 'Evolution' version of the Delta HF Integrale featured an updated version of the two litre, 16 valve turbo engine to produce more power and torque, now developing 215 PS (against 210 PS on the earlier un-catalytic version). The 1993 Integrale received a cosmetic and functional facelift that included 16" light alloy rims with 205/45 ZR 16 tyres, bodycolour roof moulding to underline the connection between the roof and the solar tinted windows, aluminium fuel cap and air-intake grilles on the front mudguards, red colour coded cam cover, leather-covered three-spoke Momo steering wheel and Recaro seats upholstered in tan Alcantara with diagonal stitching. With these upgrades, the Evo II Integrale is considered by many as the most desirable version to own. This striking 1994 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evolution II is a stunning example of the iconic rally derived homologation special in the coveted limited edition Giallo Ginestra Yellow of which only 220 were produced. Supplied new in Germany and first registered in Hamburg on 31st August 1994 where the car spent three years before coming to the UK and being registered on 3rd September 1997. If ever there's a car where yellow works better than any other it’s the Lancia Delta Integrale and in Giallo Ginestra, it is one of the rarest Evolutions produced. Under the bonnet sits a 2.0 litre turbocharged 16 valve in-line four-cylinder engine producing an impressive 219bhp sent to all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission, thanks to the new ECU and the Garett T3 turbo on the Evo II which translates into a 0-60mph in 5.7 seconds.Inside you find dark grey Alcantara trim with yellow stitching, Recaro front sports seats, new black carpets and HF over mats, Momo Corse steering wheel, air conditioning, and it has a new set of 17" Evolution Speedline Corse magnesium alloy wheels in Anthracite with new Pirelli P-Zero tyres. The car has had seven previous keepers from new with our vendor having purchased the car in July 2018. It boasts an impressive and full marque specialist maintenance history with 17 stamps in the service/maintenance book, five in Germany and nine by Lancia dealer Walkers Garage Ltd in Northallerton, North Yorkshire and four by Auto Integrale Ltd in Reading. There is a lot of expenditure on the car from 2003 to 2018 amounting to £18,850 and upon purchasing the car in September 2018, the current owner had Walkers Garage carry out a full assessment of the car and as a result of their recommendations he spent a further £16,162 with works amounting to 189 ¼ hours in total, including a full engine rebuild plus many other new components. In addition to these works, some paintwork rectification was carried out by a specialist body shop totalling £2,000, re-trimming of the front seats by a specialist trimmer at £1,800, all amounting to £20,662 and a total spend on the car of £39,512 since 2003.The car comes with is original handbook pack including maintenance book and owner’s manual, two books on Lancia Delta Integrale’ s including Peter Collins hardback book, HPi check and certificate, MoT history and test certificates, all invoices for works and servicing carried out. The BMW E30 is the second-generation of BMW 3 Series, which was produced from 1982 to 1994 and replaced the E21. The range included two-door coupé and convertible body styles, as well as being the first 3 Series to be produced in four-door saloon and wagon/estate body styles. It was powered by either a four-cylinder petrol, six-cylinder petrol or six-cylinder diesel engines, the latter a first for the 3 Series. The E30 325iX model was the first BMW to have all-wheel drive. The first BMW M3 model was built on the E30 platform and the BMW Z1 roadster was also based on the E30 platform. This very well-kept example of this hugely popular ‘yuppy’ convertible by BMW is presented in dark blue with a beige interior and has a dark blue manually operated hood. The car was purchased and registered to Lease Contracts which was then transferred to the owner’s name in 1991 (he having been the name on the lease contract) therefore only having one driver since new with the V5 registration document showing one former keeper. It comes with its original Blaupunkt stereo, electric windows, original service book showing seven stamps and the history file contains other service receipts and records with its last service being carried out in July 2023 at 57,342 miles. Full SV ConversionCustom exhaust and 760bhpThe Aventador was launched on 28th February 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show, five months after its initial unveiling in Sant'Agata Bolognese. Internally codenamed LB834, it was designed to replace the then-decade-old Murciélago as the new flagship model. Soon after its unveiling, Lamborghini announced that it had sold 12 cars, with deliveries starting in the second half of 2011. By March 2016, Lamborghini had built 5,000 Aventadors. At the time, it was the second-best selling Lamborghini model ever. The Aventador LP 700–4 used Lamborghini's 690hp 6.5 litre 60° V12 engine, weighing about 235kg. Known internally as the L539, it was Lamborghini's fifth in-house engine and only second V12 design since the 3.5 litre power plant found in the 350GT.This stunning example was first registered on 1st March 2013 and is presented in Arancio Argos Pearlescent Orange and boasts a full SV kit. The Lamborghini Aventador full SV Conversion consists of genuine 21/20 SV alloy wheels, Voodoo rear section, grille designed and fitted by GV Performance and custom exhaust system with custom centre exit and MTC catless downpipes with genuine SVJ exhaust tips. A one-off bespoke tuning map by GV Performance was undertaken to account for the modified downpipes and custom exhaust system which as a byproduct raised the power to 760bhp. Build in excess of £100,000280bhp 3.8 litre engine with limited slip differentialGumball 3000 rally entrantEngine rebuild circa 200 miles agoThe Coombs Jaguar is a modified version of the Jaguar Mk. II 3.8 litre that was prepared for racing in the 1960s by the Coombs race team. The Coombs Jaguar was known for its performance, handling, and braking, and was driven by notable drivers including Graham Hill and Roy Salvadori. Essentially, the Coombs conversion for road cars consisted of an uprated engine matched by steering and suspension modifications, but the company offered a plethora of options from which customers could choose. They included an additional fuel tank, a wood-rim steering wheel and a chrome plated boot rack. Coombs would also modify the rear wheel arches, removing the spats and making up rolled edges to match the profile of the front wheel arches. The primary objective of this was to improve access for wheel changing during motorsport events, but the modification improved the appearance of the car so much that it is surprising Jaguar themselves did not adopt the modification for production cars. Not all the Coombs cars had the same state of tune, but the typical engine had 9:1 compression pistons, a lightened flywheel and a different carburettor air-intake system. The whole bottom-end assembly would be balanced and the cylinder head would be gas-flowed. A number of Coombs-style cars feature a louvred bonnet but this was not an advertised option in the early days. This stunning Coombs evocation was purchased by our vendor in 2005 as a standard manual 3.4 litre Mk. II. A two-owner car at the time, it was first registered on 7th May 1969. Our vendor ran the car and enjoyed it for some time, in 2011 the decision however was taken to fully restore and uprate the car to a fast road, ‘Coombs Evocation’ with no stone unturned, a project that spanned three years completing in 2014. The cost of the build was well into six figures and when completed the quality, comfort and ability of the car enabled our vendor to take the car on the Gumball 3000 rally, stretching its legs amongst modern Lamborghinis, Ferraris and the world’s top supercars, rubbing shoulders with celebrities on the way.The build for HOO 429B started with a chemical dipped bodyshell prior to any repairs, then a second chemical dip before an ‘E Cote’ was carried out on the completed bodyshell. The engine compartment and inner wings were modified to accommodate the additional required equipment and the 3.4 litre engine was raised to 3.8 litres. Specially designed performance camshafts were made and added to component upgrades with Triple SU carburettors during the rebuild providing 280bhp at the flywheel and 315 lbft of torque at 4600rpm fed by twin fuel tanks with two position Monza filling caps. The engine is mated to a five speed fully re-built ‘Supra’ gearbox and bespoke prop shaft with limited slip differential. The suspension was poly bushed and powder coated and sits on classic Koni race shock absorbers behind the Borrani wire wheels and three eared Borrani spinners. A stainless-steel exhaust manifold is mated to a bespoke stainless-steel exhaust system and stopping is courtesy of up-rated Coopercraft brakes with dual action servo while cooling via an aluminium radiator and Kenlowe electric cooling fan. Other necessary mechanical upgrades include an up-rated alternator bespoke pedal box with brake balance bar, power steering, oil cooler and bespoke handbrake system. The car received full bespoke re-wiring before the inside of the car was subject to a raft of upgrades including, upgraded wiper system, electric central locking, electric windows front and rear, twin air conditioning systems to maximise ‘in car’ cooling, Sundym glass throughout with heated front and rear windscreen and self-dimming rear view mirror. The entire car benefited from a Dynamat sound proofing, Inertia seatbelts were fitted to all seats and a special under rear seat battery box housing a high technology race battery. The car has a high-end sound system, DVD entertainment, safety and security ‘tracker’ system and a raft of addition convenience lights fitted to the front footwell compartments, under the boot and bonnet, kerb/sill lights on the lower edge of all four doors along with modern door open lights fitted to opening face/edge on all four doors.Of course, this is all in a cabin finished with European Walnut trim throughout and full leather upholstery with uprated non-Mk. II Jaguar, bespoke trimmed front seats fitted with electric assist motors, seat heaters and Jaguar bespoke trimmed heated rear seats. Looking down the nose of the Coombes style aluminium bonnet and with the necessary wheel spats and Mk. II chromework, this is a stunning example. The shut lines are fantastic and unlike any Mk. II our consignor has seen, the doors shut with an almost Germanic thud rather than a typical Mk. II clang!Having completed the Gumball rally in 2014 and enjoyed the Mk. II, our vendor has more recently had the engine fully rebuilt with the run in process complete but barely a few hundred miles covered since. Being part of a larger collection it has been used sparingly since its 2014 exploits and warm garaged when not used. One of, if not the most comprehensive upgraded builds we have had the pleasure to offer, this example is sure to be very popular with both Jaguar enthusiasts but also those looking for something very special. This rare example is finished in British Racing Green with an Oatmeal leather interior. It was formerly fitted with a 3.8S engine but now has a 4.2 XK engine and an XJS Getrag five-speed manual gearbox. It was previously owned, restored, and substantially upgraded by an ex-Jaguar service manager over the last 24 years. Fitted and upgraded with electronic power steering, electronic ignition and a refurbished modern leather interior. Its last owner had the car since 1999 and there have only been three former keepers. It is equipped with HIF carbs, manual choke, electronic ignition, alternator, hi-torque starter motor, stainless steel exhaust, alloy radiator and electric heater pump. It is also fitted with electronic power steering with adjustable assistance, limited slip differential, uprated suspension and was subject to a bare metal respray some years ago. The interior was refurbished in Oatmeal leather, with modern front seats and custom console. Other works included four inertia reel seatbelts, suede roof lining, LED interior and dash lights, refurbished Walnut dash with integral cupholders, instruments, electronic speedo, voltmeter, tacho and clock. It has a wooden steering wheel, Vicma door mirrors, USB sockets, Cibie headlamps and Pioneer four speaker DAB stereo with hands free capability. The present owner recently took the car to Julian Ferraro Jaguar in Salisbury and had the engine and gearbox removed owing to a head gasket which had gone. They transferred ancillaries to a replacement 4.2 litre XJ6 engine which was said to have done 46,000 miles. Amongst certain works a replacement steering box and steering idlers were fitted, aluminium radiator repaired, engine and gearbox refitted, refit engine, new clutch kit, tuned and road tested. A receipt is available showing the cost of this work at £6,500. The vendor says it has transformed the car which is now ready for the road again. The owner then sourced some new steel wheels, tyres and hub caps plus chrome wheel trims. We are told the speedometer is currently not working but the vendor is going to endeavour to rectify this prior to auction. This is a handsome luxury British saloon which after recent mechanical works, is now ready to be fully enjoyed. Porsche's intended replacement for the 911 may not have achieved that particular goal, but it wasn't from a lack of performance or technological wizardry. An alloy V8 was attached to a rear-mounted gearbox and the galvanised body had aluminium doors and bonnet. The 928 was launched to a fanfare and surprised many by being named ‘European Car of the Year’. Critics immediately recognised the advances inherent in the 928 over the 911 and the car was universally praised as one of the greatest 'GT' cars of all time. It handled well, was quick, comfortable and looked fantastic. With the 928, Porsche created a serious long-distance grand-touring car that could also tackle twisting B-roads with ease, thanks to super-direct steering, 50/50 weight distribution and a clever Weissach rear axle that kept the car firmly planted. Many road testers found that their nerve ran out long before the 928's grip. Styling was the same in both 1978 and 1979, with the body lacking both front and rear spoilers. The distinctive rounded rear end without a spoiler is an unmistakable distinguishing feature of the early 928 and is now considered the purest example of the design. This early example of this now very retro design of the iconic Porsche 928 is presented in red with tan/black checkered interior. It was purchased by the previous owner in 1990 and used sparingly whilst in his ownership. Its mighty 4500cc V8 engine is mated to an automatic gearbox which always provided plenty of power when needed and with a superb driving position, Porsche thus created the ultimate executive sports coupé. The car comes with its driver’s manual, original maintenance records which go as far back as 1979. We are informed that there appears to be a small leak in the power steering hose, which was an advisory when it last had an MoT test. The odometer reading is currently 91,302 but within the paperwork, one can see that there appears to be discrepancy in this recorded mileage, with no explanation. A great opportunity to purchase one of Porsche’s greatest models and being offered with no reserve, this provides the option to purchase at a fraction of its original selling price back in 1979. The car has not been used regularly for a while and we would recommend some recommissioning which would be necessary. Consigned by James Good. Volvo debuted the first generation C70 at the 1996 Paris Motor Show and introduced it in Europe as a 1997 model, a year later as a 1998 model in North America. A 2.0 litre, a low-pressure turbo 2.4 litre and a high-pressure turbo 2.0 and 2.3 litre, five-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine was offered with manual and automatic transmissions. Ian Callum designed the exterior and the C70 broke Volvo's decades-long styling tradition of boxy, rectilinear designs and was Volvo's first luxury coupé since the 780. According to a tongue-in-check remark made by Peter Horbury, Volvo's design chief from 1991 to 2002, with the C70, Volvo "kept the toy, and threw away the box!" and "Our vision was to design a convertible that would meet the needs of a family of four looking for comfortable blue-sky motoring in a vehicle also providing stylish looks, performance and faultless driving and road-holding."This stunning silver example with the 2.4 litre turbo engine and automatic gearbox is completed by sporty yet comfortable leather seats and blue hood. Boasting an incredible 5,000 miles from new, this example has had one owner (plus dealer) from new and has remained garaged with the wheels on carpet whenever not one the road. Cared for with amazing attention, this is a time warp example and boasts a comprehensive service history and MoT test certificate valid until February 2026. • Three owners from new• Fully restored and featuring TR5 engineThe Triumph TR6 was manufactured for seven years from 1969 and by the time production came to an end in July 1976, it was the best-seller of the TR range. In total 94,619 TR6’s were built of which 86,249 were sold overseas and only 8,370 were sold in the UK.This lovely example of a UK right hand drive home market TR6 with factory overdrive is presented in Triumph Royal Blue with a contrasting red leather trim and red soft top. Our vendor has owned the car since 2002 having purchased it from the second owner, he then had the car restored in 2009. Upon purchasing, the previous owner informed our vendor that he used to have a TR5 and a TR6 but had written off the TR5, he decided to keep the engine from the TR5 as it performed so well and put it in the TR6. The TR5 engine (CP908E) remains in 901 DPH today and has covered just 22,071 miles since restoration. Recent works include an overdrive and gearbox rebuild in 2023 and the car in our vendors 23 years ownership has always been garaged.Unsurprisingly, being only a three-owner car, there is a very good history file including Heritage Certificate which alludes to the number 901 DPH having been with the car from new, it also shows the car was originally Saffron Yellow before our vendor decided to change the colour during the restoration to a striking Triumph Royal Blue with red combination. Our vendor states it is absolute joy to drive with the overdrive performing as it should but due to a property purchase the car needs to find a new home. Low ownership, fully restored with the desirable TR5 engine combined with overdrive gearbox, this handsome TR6 would be a joy to own this summer and for many to come. Very originalFitted with the desirable 3.4 litre engineManual with overdrive gearboxLaunched in 1955, the Mk. I extended Jaguar's domination of the high-performance car market in Britain, slotting neatly into the Coventry firm's range alongside the big Mk. VII saloon and the XK140 sportscar. The medium size newcomer broke new ground for Jaguar, being its first model to employ unitary construction of the chassis/body. Jaguar's engineers were understandably cautious in their approach, making the bodyshell stronger than in fact it needed to be and employing rubber mountings just about everywhere to insulate occupants from vibration and noise. The Mk. I was released with a new, short stroke, 2.4 litre version of the proven XK 'six', but demands for more power, especially from American customers, prompted the introduction of the 3.4 litre version early in 1957. With 190bhp on tap the 3.4 litre Mk. I was good for a top speed of 120mph and could reach 60mph in nine seconds, though if used to the full, this greatly improved performance severely taxed the drum brakes. All-round disc brakes were hurriedly announced as an option, becoming an almost universal fitting thereafter. The Mk. I was progressively updated throughout its life before a wholesale revision of the basic design saw it re-launched as the Mk. II in October 1959.This 1958 Jaguar Mk. I is fitted with the desirable 3.4 litre engine mated to a manual gearbox with overdrive and was recently imported from South Africa. The car runs and drives very well and has just had the brakes overhauled and the electrics and ignition system gone through and replaced where necessary. Finished in its original British Racing Green with maroon interior, this Jaguar Mk. I would make an ideal car for rebuilding for historic racing. Supplied with a V5 registration document and a Heritage Certificate, these beautifully sculptured Jaguars are becoming increasingly collectable. Consignor John Tomlin. It has been produced in four series with six generations consisting of roadster and coupé. It was designed by Danish BMW designer Anders Warming. The Z4 addressed many criticisms of the preceding Z3. It was larger and featured a significantly stiffer chassis. Initially only available as a roadster and the coupé was officially launched in 2006. This 2.0 litre, 150bhp SE specification six-speed manual example of the BMW Z4 is presented in Titanium Silver metallic with black Oregon leather and an optional leather steering wheel and gear knob. Restored in KenyaRepatriated to the UK by a member of the armed forcesSupplied with a Heritage CertificateThe Land Rover Series IIA, produced between 1961 and 1971, remains an icon of off-road capability and rugged design. The Series IIA is often considered the quintessential Land Rover due to its robust construction, timeless aesthetic and global utility. The Series IIA retained much of the Series II's design, with its flat aluminium body panels and distinctive ‘barrel side’ waistline. It was offered in both short-wheelbase (88 inch) and long-wheelbase (109 inch) variants, catering to different utility needs. Its front grille, typically a wire mesh or pressed steel design, added to its utilitarian charm. Under the bonnet, the Series IIA was powered by a range of engines, including the 2.25 litre petrol engine, a favourite for its reliability, and a 2.25 litre diesel, renowned for efficiency. These engines paired with a four-speed manual gearbox and a selectable four-wheel-drive system made the IIA a formidable off-road machine, capable of tackling the toughest terrains worldwide. It was whilst the Series IIA was in production that sales of utility Land Rovers reached their peak, in 1969-70, when sales of over 60,000 Land Rovers a year were recorded. The Land Rover dominated many world markets - in Australia, for example, the Land Rover held 90% of the 4×4 market in the 1960’s. This figure was repeated in many countries such as Africa and the Middle East.Manufactured on 8th January 1969 and despatched on 13th January, this right hand drive Land Rover was destined to Leyland Albion the designated dealer in Kenya. It remained in Kenya for over 50 years and was purchased by Major Jim Yates whilst he was stationed in Kenya for the British Army. The vehicle was restored in Kenya with invoices to confirm the work carried out. The car was then de-registered in Kenya and repatriated to the UK. Upon arriving in the UK, the car was then registered with the DVLA and a V5 registration document issued. Additional work has been carried out in the UK for which invoices are available. Presenting well in light green with a green interior, this Land Rover has not been over-restored and maintains its character. Today, the Series IIA is a beloved classic, cherished by collectors and enthusiasts. Its rugged simplicity and charm make it a symbol of adventure and utility. • Manual example • One of the best M3s ever made The BMW M3 is one of the most iconic sportscars of all time. The E46 M3 was praised for its handling and power, and it is still considered to be one of the best M3s ever made. Presented in Silver Grey metallic with contrasting black Nappa leather, this manual M3 coupé was first registered on 12th June 2004 at a cost of £42,655, £2,260 of which was optional extras. Extras included 19-inch alloy wheels, Harman Kardon Hi-Fi, heated front seats, aluminium shadow interior trim, front centre armrest and graduated tinted screen. Our vendor purchased this car in July 2022, as a keen racer he had entered his BMW 246 GTR into an upcoming race series and saw this manual car as a perfect opportunity to enjoy some track time. As time was always against him only three track days were ever enjoyed in the car with it being inspected after every use. These track days were at Oulton Park, Goodwood and Castle Combe. Lake of use didn’t stop a few subtle upgrades being fitted including larger racing brakes, polybushes and an anti-roll bar which all surmount to a better handling example of the already fantastically good road car. The history file shows a good service history with the last in 2023 and few miles covered since. The MoT check shows that the car has been MoT’d annually and in the last decade not one MoT has featured an advisory. The vendor informs us that the rear sub frames have been replaced and Vanos system was checked by the previous fastidious owner. Offered with an MoT test certificate valid until February 2026, this is one of the best handling M cars BMW have produced, with the desirable (some say necessary) manual gearbox. The Jaguar 420, introduced in 1966, is a luxury saloon that exemplifies the elegance and performance associated with the iconic British car manufacturer. As a successor to the Jaguar 3.8 and the 420G, the 420 was designed to offer both sophistication and power in a more compact and stylish package, compared to its larger siblings. Under the bonnet, the Jaguar 420 was equipped with a 4.2-litre inline-six engine, which was the same engine found in the Jaguar E-Type and the Jaguar XK series. This engine produced around 245 bhp and was paired with either a four-speed manual or a three-speed automatic transmission. With this set-up, the 420 could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 8.4 seconds, which was impressive for its time, offering both refinement and sportiness. The car's design was striking, with the bodywork styled by the renowned Jaguar designer, Sir William Lyons. It shared many design elements with the Jaguar Mark X and the Jaguar S-Type, but its more compact size gave it a sleeker, more agile appearance. Inside, the cabin was a testament to luxury, with leather upholstery, wood veneer trim, and a host of comfort features such as power windows and a fully equipped dashboard. The car featured an independent rear suspension, providing a smooth and comfortable ride, even on rougher roads. Its steering and handling were precise, with a solid feel on the road.Presented in British Racing Green with a contrasting tan leather interior trim gives this example a classic gentleman’s club combination. First registered on 12th January 1968, the previous keeper informed us that in the 90's this car was a regular at car shows and a multi concours winner. Sporting body designed by Carrosserie PininfarinaNew MoT test certificateFreshly refurbished wheels with good tyres.Considered by many as the last real Lancia, this modern, sleek example was built on ‘progressive collapse’ principles to ensure safety for all occupants. The interior was luxurious with high-quality materials used such as pleated headlining, Veglia instruments, Jaeger clock and push-out front quarter light windows making for a driver-focused layout. Indeed, the Flavia 2000 Coupé was one of the last Lancia models developed before Fiat took control making it a cherished classic amongst enthusiasts today.Owned by a classics collector, stored and cared for along with the rest of his collection in a temperature and humidity-controlled warehouse, it is presented in the original white coachwork which is in excellent order and repainted by the previous owner, with a black leatherette interior, requiring some attention in places and sporting a twin-spoke (anti-splinter) wood-rimmed steering wheel, albeit showing some light varnish damage. Used sparingly but regularly, it has recently undergone some recommissioning work by Lancia specialists Tranc Barratt with bills in the last three months, totalling over £3,000 to cover work on the engine and electrical systems to ensure it is running and driving well. The history folder is extensive and contains not only documents relating to this specific car but also a series of magazines relating to the marque in general as well as the original Flavia technical data manual and owners book. One of only 87 right hand drive examplesComprehensive service recordIn current ownership for 10 yearsBefore David Plastow left his senior position at Rolls-Royce following the take-over of Vickers plc, he had been responsible for a series of models, amongst which was the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit. The Silver Spirit was unveiled in October 1980 as a replacement for the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. The coachwork of the Silver Spirit had been designed at the in-house styling centre by Fritz Feller and gave the impression of being stretched in comparison with the bodies of the previous generation. Direct comparison, however, showed only small differences. The new models had slightly grown in length and width; height had been cut a little, although the styling was more modern than that of its predecessor. The interior was dominated by the expected combination of fine wood and sumptuous leather. The Silver Dawn is a special edition of the Silver Spur III with several additional options, such as Electronic Traction Assistance System. In a short model run of just three years, only 237 cars were produced worldwide with around 80 cars staying in the UK, making the Silver Dawn one of the rarest Rolls-Royce cars produced in recent times. This particular example was purchased by our vendor in 2015 and was added to his small collection at the time, having owned various Rolls-Royce and Bentley models over the years. The car was used sparingly and only enjoyed on nice days and to various Rolls-Royce Enthusiast Club events. It is presented in a very attractive dark blue hue with a cream interior, a very understated and tasteful colour combination. The exterior is in good order with a few age-related marks but is in very reasonable order overall. The interior is a wonderful place to be, with the finest leather adorning nearly every surface and beautiful walnut trim throughout. Upgraded to S-SpecificationNumerous factory upgradesHighly desirable 2+2 configurationBeloved by modern day enthusiasts and heritage collectors alike. The aggressive appearance of the Vanquish in 'Die Another Day' cemented its place in James Bond history and has helped to make this an instantly recognisable model. Featuring a bonded aluminium chassis combined with many pieces of traditional craftsmanship ushered in a new era for Aston Martin. Underneath the bonnet sat a 460bhp, V12 engine delivering power through a six-speed manual gearbox controlled by an electro-hydraulic, paddle-shift gearchange. Aston Martin’s own cars were initially registered with their own ‘AML’ plates and, as such, this example left the factory with ‘AML 1’ pride of place, front and rear before changing to its current registration about a year later.Presented in the striking and rare Litchfield Black with a matching charcoal interior and body-coloured handles with a violet chrome consul, the first owner really went to town with the options list. Specialist upgrades include a premium quality Linn sound system with a boot-mounted amplifier and CD changer, high intensity (HID) headlights and upgraded Kahn RS-V alloy wheels valued at £4,000. It is important to note that this is the desirable 2+2 variant, offering not only additional room internally but also the upgraded optional sports dynamic pack consisting of enhanced steering, suspension and brakes which came as standard with the ‘S’.Also included is a file of invoices, the correct aluminium-bound owner’s pack, an MoT test certificate valid until July 2025, a clear HPI and a fitted Tracker system. Additionally included is a V5C registration document and an unused Aston Martin umbrella clipped to the boot lid, something that often (unsurprisingly) goes missing. Supplied new in CaliforniaBeautifully rebuilt as 911 Carrera 2.7 RS EvocationOriginal five speed manual gearboxBuilt for comfort and to be usedThis left hand drive 1976 Porsche 911 2.7 Carrera S fitted with a five speed manual gearbox, was originally sold in California where it spent it’s life until it was purchased by the current owner and imported to the UK in March 2018. In its first year in the UK, an RS Lightweight conversion was carried out which included bodywork repairs and a full bare metal respray in 2018/19 which was carried out by OSC in Chessington. As the car had spent its pre-UK life in San Diego, California, there were only two minor areas of corrosion that needed addressing. The front wing extensions that house the indicators are metal and genuine Porsche parts and the rear engine cover is metal with a fibreglass ducktail spoiler fitted. The front bonnet has been replaced with a genuine Porsche period ‘long bonnet’. The car has been built to Lightweight rather than Touring specification, so both the front and rear bumpers are fibreglass as they would have been on an original car. Finished in Viper Green which is an original Porsche period factory colour, the paintwork is in very good condition throughout. The wheels are original Fuchs alloys with extremely rare deep-dish rears. The interior is largely original but some tasteful upgrades have been made as the owner wanted a usable classic with the external appearance of a '73 RS rather than a full replica. The steering wheel is the original, although it has been retrimmed in Nappa leather, as indeed has the dashboard. The present owner also added genuine 70's era Porsche electric seats with twelve-way control on the driver’s side and eight-way on the passenger side. Along with the seats, Porsche electric window mechanisms and switches and a modern face off radio were fitted to make the car more usable and comfortable. The original seats, manual window winders and mechanisms are available should a future owner wished to return the car to stock. The owner reports that the engine runs well and as the car started out as a 2.7 Carrera S, the engine is largely similar to a genuine RS. There have not been many upgrades to the engine, other than the correct twin exhaust system fitted and a replacement oil sump with oil drain. The warm-up regulator and the fuel injection distributor have both been rebuilt by renowned experts KMI. The fuel injectors have been replaced by Porsche specialists GT-One in Chertsey, who also completed all the other engine work. Servicing has been carried out on an annual basis and the most recent service replaced the oil, filters, plugs and leads. The four Continental tyres have done less than 200 miles. The car is supplied with a V5 registration document, its original owner’s manual/service book and two sets of keys. Accompanying this is a Porsche letter confirming the car has matching numbers, a file containing invoices from GT-One for the work completed and all of the invoices for parts and KMI work. There are service stamps in the warranty book that run to the early 2000's when car was parked up by its previous owner in California and mileages match from the last stamp to the car's odometer. Launched in 1970, the Triumph Stag was a luxury grand tourer. Envisioned as a luxury sports car, it was designed to compete directly with the Mercedes-Benz SL class models. All Stags were four-seater convertible coupés but for structural rigidity and to meet new American rollover standards at the time, the Stag required a B-pillar 'roll bar' hoop connected to the windscreen frame by a T-bar. A new 2.5 litre, V8 designed and developed by Triumph's Harry Webster was later enlarged to 2,997cc. Most Stags were fitted with a Borg Warner automatic gearbox although manual gearboxes with overdrive were available. While modest by modern standards, its lightweight design, precise five-speed manual transmission, and lively engine made it thrilling to drive. The GTi delivered sharp handling, thanks to a well-tuned suspension, front-wheel drive, and excellent weight distribution. Its compact dimensions made it nimble on twisty roads and a breeze to drive in urban environments. Visually the hallmark design elements of the GTi lineage: bold red accents on the grille, squared-off styling, and alloy wheels. Inside, the plaid-patterned sport seats and ergonomic layout underscored its driver-focused ethos. Practicality was another strong suit. The hatchback design provided ample cargo space, and its robust engineering made it dependable and relatively affordable to maintain.First registered on 19th March 1987, this early Mk. II Volkswagen Golf GTi 16V is presented in Diamond Silver metallic over a striped, grey cloth interior. Specification highlights include 14-inch ‘bottle top’ alloy wheels, a manual sunroof, electric windows, central locking and a leather-bound steering wheel. Under the bonnet resides a free-revving 1.8-litre 16-valve engine producing around 137bhp through a five-speed manual transmission. This time-warp example boasts 65,261 warranted miles and has been cherished by the registered keeper for over thirty years. The accompanying history file shows that the car spent its first five years as a daily driver before retiring to life as a garage queen. Remarkably, the Golf has covered less than 3,000 miles since 1992, with some annual mileage increments being as little as seven miles (driving to and from the MoT test station). Apart from an after-market immobiliser and stainless-steel exhaust, the car appears of original specification including the Volkswagen-inscribed alloys and Blaupunkt radio cassette head unit. Everywhere you look on this Golf, things are clean, fresh and well-kept. Years of indoor storage have paid dividends in preserving the exterior as neither the plastic trim nor the lights show signs of fading to the degree that you would usually expect at this age. The paintwork is in excellent condition and the body panels appear original, flush and straight. The cabin is as good as you could hope for. The headlining was replaced a few years ago, whilst the seats and carpet appear in fine order without any tears. The engine bay, boot and undercarriage are in very good condition. The engine is strong and pulls impeccably and the gearbox operates well with smooth changes on all gears. This delightful Golf GTi benefits from a recent service and cambelt change (July 2023 at 65,189 miles) and is ready to be enjoyed. Supplied with the car are two sets of keys and a comprehensive history file dating back to the point of first registration to include the original owner handbooks and stamped service book. The Golf GTi became a beloved figure among enthusiasts for its blend of performance, style, and practicality. It helped establish the “hot hatch” genre, inspiring generations of sporty compact cars and earning its reputation as one of the greatest everyday performance vehicles of its era. The Smart Roadster Final Edition marked the end of an era for one of the most quirky and fun small sportscars on the market. Produced by Smart, a subsidiary of Daimler AG, the Smart Roadster was a two-seater roadster that combined distinctive design with an emphasis on compactness and urban practicality. However, after years of production from 2003 to 2006, Smart decided to discontinue the Roadster, with the Final Edition serving as the last hurrah for this unique vehicle. The 2006 Smart Roadster Final Edition was distinct from its earlier versions with its special features, designed to make it stand out as the last of its kind. This model was offered with limited-edition badging and a sportier, more refined interior. The special edition also boasted a few enhancements in terms of technology and comfort, such as improved seats and advanced features in the dashboard, making it a more polished version of the already beloved Roadster. Under the bonnet, the Smart Roadster Final Edition featured a 698cc, three-cylinder engine, producing around 80 horsepower. While not an overwhelming amount of power, the car’s light weight (under 800kg) made it feel quick and nimble, perfect for tight corners and fast city driving. It also had a five-speed automated manual transmission, adding a touch of driving excitement without overwhelming the driver.Originally registered on 28th December 2006, this Smart has been very well looked after having had 14 services which are documented in the history folder. We are advised by the vendor that this Roadster drives with no known faults and is very reliable. It is supplied with a V5 registration document together with a current MoT test certificate valid until 1st March 2026, original handbooks and two sets of keys. The canvas roof is in good condition although we are advised it is a little stiff in operation due to lack of use. Production ended in 2006 and the Final Edition remains a sought-after collector’s car today. It encapsulated a time when Smart was exploring bold, unconventional designs, and the Roadster, with its playful spirit, has cemented its place as a quirky but cherished model in automotive history.
