The E36 was BMW’s third generation of the popular executive car range. This variant was created to replace the, already successful, E30 chassis platform and benefited from a multilink rear suspension set-up that improved handling characteristics dramatically. This particular car was the flagship M3 variant offered in a bright Mugello Red paint with the sought after Alcantara and cloth 'Vader' interior. The M3 was designed to give the driver a more focused and performance orientated driving experience. Powered by a high revving 3.0 litre engine producing an impressive 286bhp, the M3 had heaps of performance within a car that could be used every day. The M3 also benefited from improved brakes and a limited slip differential to separate it from the rest of the BMW range. The M3’s potential, affordable price tag and usability, propelled the car to automotive superstardom making it the benchmark coupé that other manufactures aim to compete with. This early 3.0 litre manual E36 M3 is presented in rare Mugello Red with even rarer motorsport cloth trim. Our vendor has privately owned and cherished this example for a decade and not surprisingly, the condition is surmountable with that and a low mileage of 77,500 miles, circa 2,500 a year! Boasting a comprehensive service history, the last in April 2024 the car has also recently had the oil pump replaced with a genuine BMW unit by BMW specialists Cragos. The paint was refreshed four years ago in 2020 at a cost of £6,000 and described as ‘near perfect now’ and recently ceramic coated at a cost of £1,000 it has been used for show and shine only since. The skyrocketing residual values of the earlier generation M3’s has had a halo effect on the rest of the BMW range over the last few years, making them highly desirable to any budding driver and collector looking for a fun vehicle to invest in. This is offered also with an MoT until July 2025 all service manuals, full folder of receipts and MoT certificates. This is a stunning example of a truly eye-catching car which is certainly a future benchmark classic; certainly, one of the best we have had for sale for a long time! Introduced at the 1977 Geneva Motor Show, the 928 was conceived (and priced) as the flagship of the Porsche range. A luxurious GT, it was styled in-house by American Tony Lapine as a replacement for the ageing, compromised 911. Ultimately, the newcomer failed to usurp its tail-heavy sibling despite becoming the only sports car ever to win the European Car of the Year title (1978). Built around a galvanised steel monocoque, the 2+2 made extensive use of aluminium for its wheels, doors, bonnet, transaxle housing, front suspension wishbones, rear suspension uprights, upper links and main cross member. This practice not only saved weight but also contributed to near perfect 49:51 weight distribution. Available with a choice of manual or automatic transmission (housed in its award-winning passive rear steer Weissach transaxle) the 928 was regarded as a crushingly capable Grand Tourer. The subject of continual development, the model evolved through S, S2, S4 and GT guises before the arrival of the final GTS version at the 1991 Frankfurt Motor Show. Reputedly capable of over 170mph, this uber 928 was powered by an enlarged 5397cc DOHC 32-valve V8 that developed some 350bhp and 369lbft of torque. Riding on special five-spoke seventeen-inch alloys, it further benefited from four-wheel vented disc ABS brakes (complete with four-pot Brembo callipers) and a computer-controlled limited slip differential. The 928 GTS is a rare beast, but models with manual transmission are the holy grail and have been sought after and desirable pretty much since they stopped building them! This car is a very early example of the GTS and is one of just 45 UK supplied right hand drive examples delivered, and 51 RHD worldwide. They have a following all of their own and cannot be compared to the equivalent automatic when it comes to both the driving experience or the price. Finished in delightful Horizon Blue with light grey leather Sports Seats piped Blue, it wears the appropriate registration number K77GTS which is included with the car and has spent the last 5 years in dry storage. It has covered 91,700 miles from new and comes with a huge history file including its original wallet, handbooks and service book, a raft of loose invoices for much of its life up to 2019, along with two keys. Having been dry stored for the past five years, some recommissioning will be required, although on inspection, the car started immediately and was freshly MoT’d on 19th August 2024 for the first time in 5 years, receiving a first-time pass. Values of these cars have been steadily rising and with the manual gearbox this surely would appear to be a solid investment. Supplied with MoT to 18 August 2025 and current V5c. The Jaguar MK. IV was a re-launch of a pre-Second World War model made by SS Cars Ltd. from 1936. Before the war, the name Jaguar was the model name given to the complete range of cars built by SS Cars Ltd. The saloons were titled SS Jaguar 1½ litre, 2½ litre or 3½ litre. After the war, the company name was changed to Jaguar Cars Ltd. All the cars were built on a separate chassis frame with suspension by semi-elliptic leaf springs on the front and rear. Pre-war, the car was available as a saloon or drophead coupé, although post war only the saloon was produced. Prior to 1938, body construction on all the models was by the traditional steel on wood method but in that year it changed to all steel. The cabin dimensions and well-appointed interior were very similar to its larger-engined brothers. This Jaguar was originally supplied by Richies Garage, Glasgow in November 1939. It was purchased by the current vendor in 2019, he has had significant amounts of work done on the car, improving performance and reliability. In 2020 the car was completely rewired, a CD is available showing the extent of the work. The auto electrician very sensibly has supplied an additional wiring diagram showing the position of relays etc. The trafficators and side lights flash in sequence and the wiper motor has been rebuilt. An electric fuel pump has been fitted for additional reliability. In 2022 the head gasket was replaced and the manual four-speed gearbox was rebuilt. In 2023 the bottom of the doors were restored and the boot was re-upholstered, with photographic evidence available. The 1701cc engine runs very well and we are advised this Jaguar SS (1½ Litre) drives with no known faults. The black and grey paintwork is in good order as is the chromework. The interior is original with a delightful patina which adds to the charm of this delightful Jaguar. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a collection of invoices, together with an original instruction book and a workshop manual. This very well cared for 85 year old vehicle exudes charm and character in abundance. Consigned by Stewart Banks. Launched at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, the Jaguar E-Type was nothing short of a revelation. With its heady blend of supercar performance, breathtaking styling and low-price tag, the newcomer left rivals reeling and customers clamouring. Early sportscar racing success at the hands of Graham Hill and Roy Salvadori amongst others helped cement its reputation. Built as a monocoque with a front subframe to cradle the engine, the model's combination of all-round independent suspension, rack and pinion steering and four-wheel disc brakes gave it excellent road holding and handling capabilities. The Jaguar E-Type Series I 2+2 was designed to be a more practical version of the legendary E-Type, with a longer wheelbase and additional interior space. It was produced from 1966 to 1967, and it featured a 4.2 litre inline six-cylinder engine that produced 265 horsepower. One of the most notable features of the Jaguar E-Type Series I 2+2 is its sleek and timeless design. This matching numbers example was originally supplied by the Hillsborough garage, Sheffield in June 1966. This manual version of the classic sports car presents in its original colour combination of Opalescent Maroon with a beige interior and is fitted with a Webasto sunroof. In a recent video, which can be viewed online at Historics.co.uk, the engine of this project Jaguar can be seen running smoothly. Several of the parts required to complete this car are supplied as is a comprehensive file of receipts, a Jaguar Heritage Certificate and a V5C registration certificate. This Jaguar has the potential to be both a rewarding project and tremendous fun back when back on the roads. Consigned by Dominic Lake. MATCHING NUMBERS EXAMPLEHERITAGE CERTIFICATEENGINE RUNS

Based on the fifth-generation S197 Ford Mustang, the Shelby GT500 was developed by Ford’s Special Vehicles Team (SVT) and designed around Ford’s 5.8L supercharged Trinity V8 engine generating up to 662 HP. This made it the most powerful production Mustang available at the time, and the first Mustang to have a top speed of over 200 MPH. Equipped with desirable factory options like the SVT Track Package and the Electronics package. It allows the GT500 to reach 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 3.5 seconds and on to a claimed top speed of 202 MPH. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The GT500 receives a host of upgrades over a standard 8-cylinder Mustang including re-tuned springs, a larger front sway bar, a three-row intercooler, twin fuel pumps, larger fuel injectors, a larger heavy-duty clutch, a reinforced transmission with an internal oil pump, a single-piece carbon-fiber driveshaft, and larger 15” six-piston Brembo brakes. The optional Track Package also equips a nose-mounted differential cooler, a transmission cooler, and an air-to-oil engine oil cooler. This fine example is presented in black with the distinctive red stripe running from front to back and has a black electric retractable hood. Its mighty 5.9 lite V8 is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Its black leather interior has red stripes running through the middle of the seats in keeping with its striking exterior and the snake symbol is ever present on the steering wheel and the front seats, confirming that there is no mistake that this is the one of the greatest Mustangs ever made. Its low mileage of just over 17,000 miles and a nice history make this a great investment to consider with shattering performance to match. The Ford Escort RS Cosworth was released in 1992 just as the Sierra Sapphire 4X4 Cosworth production was ending. The radical styling that included flared arches and the unmissable whale tail rear spoiler, displayed only a small part of the potential however, that potential was fulfilled by the fitment of the Cosworth fettled power unit that lay under the bonnet. Production commenced in February 1992 with the first 2,500 being homologation specials. The Cosworth was entered into the World Rally Championship the following year, enjoying outstanding success in the hands of works drivers François Delecour and Miki Biasion. Although the RS Cosworth resembled the Escort road car, it was in fact based on a shortened Sierra 4x4 floor pan and used the latter's running gear. This meant that, unlike the mainstream Mk. V Escort, the RS Cosworth mounted its engine fore-and-aft rather than transversely, it also used the Sierra 4x4's five-speed manual transmission which featured permanent four-wheel drive that split the power 34/66 front/rear. In road trim, the RS Cosworth produced 227bhp and with that horsepower in a nimble, compact car, performance was outstanding. The end came too early for many enthusiasts with production ceasing in January 1996. Only 7,145 cars were produced over a four-year period. The example we have here is something of a unicorn, being offered to sale by its original owner, who has cherished the car as part of his Ford collection for the past 28 years. The car has covered a mere 17,450 miles, which we are told were almost always fair weather miles and it has truly been a prized possession since day one. Our vendor is a very long standing member of the RS Owner’s Club and was known to be so fastidious, that the supplying Ford dealer welcomed him to inspect the car as soon as it was unloaded from the delivery truck; he has even retained the pre-PDI factory stickers and they are included in the history file. The car still wears many factory stickers and labels which have so often been lost over time, a testament to how well the car has been cared for. This Cosworth has always been meticulously cared for by the vendor, with all of the facilities and knowledge to ensure it was always in fine fettle, he always preferred to take care of everything himself, instead of leaving it at garages who may not take enough care and attention of the car. The Diamond White paintwork gleams and we are informed it is all original and the black leather interior is about as good as anyone could hope for. The car is fitted with 18” OZ wheels and slightly lowered suspension but is otherwise completely un-modified. To aid with security, the car is fitted with a Clifford alarm and a tracker. The car is supplied to auction with a V5C registration document, MoT test certificate valid until June 2025, factory pre-PDI stickers, various sundry bills and a set of original wheels are also available. This is an opportunity which should not be missed, very few single owner Cosworth’s exist and this example can be bought safe in the knowledge that it has been in true enthusiast ownership since day one. The Porsche 991 is the internal designation for the seventh generation of the Porsche 911, unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show on 15th September as the replacement for the 997. The 991 was an entirely new platform, only the third since the original 911 launched in 1963 (the 996 of 1999 was the second new platform). Introduced in 2012, the 991 Turbo has a twin turbocharged 3.8 litre flat-six engine generating 513bhp and 457lb ft of torque with all-wheel drive. The Turbo comes as standard with Porsche's PDK dual clutch transmission and is the first Turbo model not to feature a manual transmission. The car was faster and lighter thanks to greater use of aluminium, but also more comfortable than ever before. The Turbo S in particular is the pinnacle of the 911 range, offering the best balance of comfort and performance before moving towards track orientated models such as the GT3 and GT3 RS.Our vendor purchased this car in 2016, as a pre-registered car, meaning he has been its only private owner from new, the first being the main dealer who registered it. Being a Turbo S, the car is particularly highly optioned, with carbon ceramic brakes, sunroof, sport chrono and Bose sound system. The car has been used sparingly over the past nine years, having covered an average of only just over 2,000 miles per year. The overall condition of the car is as would be expected of such a low mileage example, the white bodywork gleams and the black interior is in absolutely superb order. The diamond cut centrelock wheels are in extremely good condition too. The car has always been maintained by Porsche main agents and other than routine maintenance, has never required any series attention. The car is supplied to auction with a V5C registration document, MoT test certificate, owner’s books and service booklet. The private registration P11 DNT is also included in the sale. The acquisition of Bentley Motors in 1998 by Volkswagen AG brought an end to an era of almost eight decades of cars built by Bentley. Mulliner Park Ward, the coachbuilding division of Rolls-Royce that built this model of the Continental, was also sold to Volkswagen AG and is now simply a personal commissioning department for the Bentley brand. The Continental Bentleys of this era are therefore not only examples of the last coach built Bentley but also the last from Mulliner Park Ward. Only seventy-seven examples were built comprising both the drophead convertible, such as this car, and its fixedhead coupé counterpart. This is an exceptional example, which has been in our vendor’s ownership since March 2018 and has had in excess of £30,000 lavished on it since then, to ensure it is in excellent order throughout. The largest bill came in May 2018, totalling almost £17,000. This included a thorough hydraulic system service and overhaul, new front discs and pads, suspension overhaul, new tyres, replacement of many seals and gaskets, AC compressor, steering rack replacement and many other jobs. More than £8,000 has been spent in 2024, £1,541 of which was spent on replacing the hydraulic brake pump and Connolising the interior, which is in superb condition. A further £6,759 was spent on attending to some small electrical issues, refinishing all interior piano black trims, a new oil pressure gauge, new wiper motor, an ‘A’ service and inspection, strip down and re-assembly of front suspension and various other jobs, meaning the car is absolutely ready to be enjoyed. The overall condition of the car is exceptional, the coachwork is straight and the paintwork gleams, the interior shows very little signs of ageing and the hood isn’t faded or torn. The car has a rather interesting history, having first been delivered by Jack Barclay on 23rd May 1986 to a Mr Asil Nadir, of Polly Peck International and it still wears its original colour combination of Acrylic Tudor red with black upholstery and a black hood. This Bentley is supplied to auction with a V5C registration document, MoT test certificate valid until April 2025, a comprehensive history file, owner’s manual and service booklet containing 23 stamps and invoices showing further servicing. This example would be a fantastic addition to any collection, safe in the knowledge that it has been in the care of an enthusiast owner, who has spent a lot of money ensuring the car virtually wants for nothing. Launched in the final days of 2001, the Audi A4 Cabriolet was a massive technical stride ahead of its predecessor. It was also good enough to be considered a model in its own right, sharing not one body panel with the Audi A4 saloon. Rarely has a car undergone quite such an image transformation over the course of one generation as Audi's A4 Cabriolet. Whereas its predecessor was regarded as a rather outdated if elegant cruiser, the post 2001 model is right up with the best as far as four seat convertibles go. With a far stiffer chassis than the old car ever got and better engines to boot, the A4 Cabriolet offers those looking for a genuinely dynamic drive a number of options. The choice of quattro all-wheel drive transmission and a quality diesel engine differentiated Audi's offering while ensuring that new cars sold well and used examples command strong residuals. This example is presented in yellow (according to the HPI but looks more Gold in the flesh) with black leather interior and its lively 1800cc engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. It has a black electric retractable hood which functions correctly. It comes with electric windows and some history showing various old invoices and MoT test certificate which expires in June 2025. Like the Triumph 2000 it was developed from, the Triumph Stag it was styled by Italian maestro Giovanni Michelotti and featured the monocoque construction, independent suspension, disc/drum brakes, power-assisted rack and the pinion steering and driveline of that saloon. All Stags were four-seater convertible coupés but for structural rigidity and to meet new American rollover standards at the time, the Stag required a B-pillar 'roll bar' hoop connected to the windscreen frame by a T-bar. The power plant though, was an all-new OHC, V8 of 3000cc capacity fed by a pair of Stromberg carburettors and the newcomer received a warm reception at the time of launch in 1970, although longevity of the engine proved to be a problem. Most Stags were fitted with a Borg Warner automatic gearbox together with electric windows, power steering and power-assisted brakes fitted as standard. Very desirable, the Stag is well supported through various clubs and specialist suppliers. This wonderful privately owned example was first registered on 23rd June 1976, presented in Tahiti Blue with black interior which reflects the very low mileage for this example with very good woodwork and manual gearbox. Boasting the original hardtop in very good condition with a very good soft top, the car has had just six owners in 49 years including our motoring enthusiast owner since 2018. In recent years the car has been very well looked after and maintained and upon inspection the V8 fired up on first turn of the key. The history file includes history back to 1976 including original Triumph passport to service book and Brochure coupled to numerous MoT certificates and invoices. The Triumph TR6 was manufactured for seven years, starting in 1969, and by the time production came to an end in July 1976, it was the best-seller of the TR range. The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, the Triumph TR5, but the front and rear were squared off and all TR6s featured inline six-cylinder engines. For the US market, the engine was fitted with carburettors whilst, for other world markets including the UK, the TR6 was fitted with fuel-injection. It featured a four-speed manual gearbox, independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15" wheels and tyres, pile carpet on the floors and boot, bucket seats and a full complement of instruments. In total, 94,619 TR6s were built of which 86,249 were sold overseas and only 8,370 were sold in the UK.The car we have here is beautifully presented in Sapphire blue with a black interior and a new navy blue mohair hood, which was recently fitted. The most recent owner of the car purchased it in 2001, keeping it in his possession for 23 years, six of which the car resided with him in Guernsey, returning to the UK mainland in 2020. Whilst in Guernsey, the body was removed and extensive chassis works were undertaken, photos of which are included in the history file. Despite being a later ‘CR’ example, this TR6 is fitted with an earlier and more sought after 150bhp ‘CP’ engine, a very welcome addition. A reconditioned gearbox and overdrive were fitted in 2020, an upgraded Bosch fuel pump in 2017 and also the addition of electronic ignition. The original V8 Vantage was a legendary old brute, and we’re all familiar with Bond driving one into a barn in The Living Daylights. The X-Pack took things to another level, although it did away with the deployable skis, missiles and jet engine as seen on the Bond car. Built between 1986 and 89, the X-Pack introduced a raft of updates over the base V8 Vantage including four dual-barrel Weber carburettors, Nimrod racing-type heads, larger valves and high compression pistons from Cosworth. This upped the 5.3-litre V8’s output to 432hp, not far off what supercars of the day were capable of. Telling the X-Pack apart from the regular Vantages is easy, too, looking as though it could deck you just for staring at it. Flared wheel arches give it a particularly muscular look, along with a, er, sizeable power bulge on the bonnet and a far deeper front bumper that acted as an air dam. Probably the most recognisable X-Pack feature is the blanked-out grille (not entirely sure how that helps with cooling) but some cars were specced with a more conventional mesh finish. Blanking plate or not, the X-Pack is an exceptionally rare variant of a car built in the hundreds. This fabulous and extremely rare example is allegedly one of only two right hand drive examples produced in Litchfield Black with black leather interior and walnut trim inlays. The specification includes air conditioning, electric windows, an analogue dashboard clock, heated rear screen and a lockable glove box. It is accompanied by a service booklet, handbook, a good history documenting maintenance and images of the car whilst in Jay Kay’s ownership. Production numbers vary here and there, but the listing claims that only 95 examples were produced, with this particular car being just one of two finished in Litchfield Black Metallic. The X-Packs were offered with an automatic gearbox, what with it being a massive grand tourer at heart, but this model comes with a manual gearbox. This is one of the greats of British motoring and certainly one of the greatest Aston Martins ever built – rare as hens teeth, brutish good looks and performance to match. This particular example has a great pedigree of ownership, having been in the ownership of one of most prolific private collectors in the UK and this would definitely grace any avid Aston Martin collectors garage or indeed be driven in anger by any who dare! Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1993, the Ian Callum styled DB7 began production in 1994 at a new factory in Bloxham, Oxfordshire. In 1999, the new DB7 Vantage with a V12 engine was revealed. In 2002, a new variant was launched, named DB7 GT or DB7 GTA when equipped with an automatic transmission. It was essentially an improved version of the Vantage, its V12 engine producing 435bhp. Aesthetically, compared to the Vantage it has a mesh front grille, vents in the bonnet, a boot spoiler, optional carbon fibre trim and new wheels. It also has 14" front and 13" rear vented disc brakes by Brembo. The original Tremac T56 six-speed manual gearbox was uprated with a short-shift lever, additionally a new 228mm diameter twin-plate AP Racing clutch was fitted instead of the 293mm single-plate original which resulted in a 22% lighter pedal effort, along with a shorter final drive to improve acceleration. Production of the GT was extremely limited with only 85 vehicles manufactured for the UK market. Limited numbers and Ian Callum’s sleek and purposeful design combined to produce a sporting tourer that has bucked the DB7 collecting curve and good examples are now highly desirable. This particular example is a hugely desirable GT, fitted with the manual gearbox, and is surely one of the very best examples out there. The car presents in immaculate order, its black coachwork is gleaming and the black interior is virtually unmarked. The car recently won its class at the Aston Martin Owner’s Club concours event at Sandringham House, which is about enough reassurance of the condition as anyone could possibly ask for. This is an extremely rare car, with only 85 examples built for the UK market, this example is one for the collector, having covered just 23,600 miles. The car has a comprehensive service history and is coming from an owner who is very meticulous and ensures his cars are always kept in top condition. The Vanquish is widely accepted as being one of the most important cars developed by Aston Martin and heavily influenced the direction of the company’s line-up of sports cars in recent times. So much so, in fact, that the Newport Pagnell factory underwent an extensive refurbishment just to accommodate it, gaining a new assembly line, paint shop, rolling road and water test facility. The genius that is Ian Callum utilised an all-new engine management systems incorporated with a drive-by-wire throttle control and six-speed manual gearbox and an electro-hydraulic change mechanism matched to a hugely powerful six litre, V12 powerplant. It was an instant success and was thus the obvious choice for the nation's favourite secret agent. It was, however, the last Aston Martin to be built at Newport Pagnell with all future cars moving to Gaydon. The bespoke example offered here today was ordered through Grange Aston Martin of the Welwyn Garden City showrooms by a gentleman of the same locale and officially registered in March 2003. It was fully equipped with all the latest extras including Connolly leather and Wilton carpeting throughout costing the princely sum of £165,000. The car presents with a full main agent service history reflected in the stamped service book, including some at Newport Pagnell. During the current ownership, it has also been looked after by accredited Aston Martin specialists with the full-service history maintained throughout its ownership with the majority of works undertaken by the ‘Aston Kensington’ workshops in London. The current mileage is still only 34,750 and it has been kept in good order from both its two recorded keepers. Additionally, we are led to believe that the first owner always kept the car garaged as part of his private collection as indeed has the current owner.Upon inspection, the ‘charcoal black’ paintwork, a favourite with 007, is in good order with a deep lustrous sheen although there are a number of minor issues to note. In terms of light scratches/blemishes, theses can be found infrequently although the owner clearly found himself in an awkward situation with a significant blemish to the offside rear wheelarch, possibly from a bollard. There was thought to be some ‘smoking’ from the large V12 engine however after a visual inspection, very little could be determined and, as it has also just passed an MoT test which obviously includes emissions checks, both neutral idle test and fast idle tests both passed. Potential customers may like to engage some professional advice, however. The charcoal black leather interior appears in reasonable order for a 20+ year old Aston Martin with only light wear noticeable to both front seat bolsters. It’s worth mentioning also, that the factory-supplied umbrella is present, particularly as these are so often the first thing to go missing. This four- (belted) seat 2+2 touring car is stunning to behold and the design is timeless, the next custodian would certainly be lucky indeed. Consigned by Edward Bridger-Stille. The Lotus Carlton was a Vauxhall Carlton upgraded by Lotus Cars to be a 177mph sports saloon with acceleration equal to contemporary supercars. When released, it was the fastest four-door saloon car in the world. The external differences were minimal with the addition of a rear spoiler, air intakes on the bonnet, Lotus badges on the front wings and bootlid, a bodykit and considerably wider wheel arches. The car was only sold in one colour, a shade of British Racing Green called Imperial Green, a very dark green that in anything but direct light appears black.Lotus re-worked the 2969cc, 24V straight-six used in the Carlton GSi and bored it out to 3615cc. In addition, twin Garrett T25 turbochargers were attached resulting in 377bhp and torque at 419lb/ft. Power was transmitted through a six-speed ZF manual gearbox and power was driven to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential. The brakes were supplied by AP with 330mm ventilated discs all round and racing callipers.First registered on the 18th March 1992 this truly stunning example of the ultra-collectable 90’s super salon is presented in unmarked Imperial Green with contrasting luxury black full leather. Our vendor always dreamt that his dad would turn up from work in a Lotus Carlton when he was younger but having not experienced it as a child, when the opportunity to purchase his own in 2013 arose he jumped at the chance. The car he purchased in 2013 was a indeed a very good example, just four previous owners with documentation back to when new and in 1996 at 49,478 miles had benefitted from a brand new replacement engine under warranty, which is documented as the last Lotus crate engine in existence, therefore the last-ever factory Lotus re-worked 3615cc, 24V straight-six engine is fitted to this very car.Although happy with his pride and joy, in 2022 he decided to contact his local trusted Bodyshop to tidy up a few aspects, this brought what eventually became an unplanned, comprehensive and frankly breathtaking cosmetic restoration. The car was treated to any necessary work to sills and underside before all nuts and bots were replaced and treated before being fully photographed and then undersealed. Then the body, initially planned to rectify any areas in need, our vendor decided to strike a deal with The Bodycentre, Norwich and they could showcase this car for their work… and boy did that pay dividends, where some body shops would take the route of least resistance The Bodycentre took the philosophy that this was their opportunity to demonstrate the highest level of workmanship, indeed three days alone were taken on one wheel arch to ensure the work was exactly as it would have been from new before replicating it on others. It was handy that another original Lotus Carlton was already in the bodyshop, so no stranger to the cars they could make sure all necessary details were seen to. The fit and finish of the panels and even the body kit is exemplary, the finish being part of the reason our vendor is selling ‘it’s just too good that now I’m worried about driving it and getting even a stone chip’.The car is no trailer queen… yet, recent mechanical works include full brake rebuild front and rear with refurbished calipers, new discs, new pads and new hoses all round, fully powder coated and rebushed suspension, new OE wheel bearings all round, new ball joints and new steering control arms and the car performs impeccably and remains garaged between short trips. The interior wasn’t left out of the works, the headlining and A pillars all retrimmed to sustain the ‘fresh’ feel and as original by an original Lotus factory trimmer, which compliments the original stereo and leather trim which feels like it has done ½ the 76,941 miles on the odometer, even the optional over mats feel fresh and are a nod to the sheer opulence of this car when it was new. On that note, the car is completely standard and incredibly original with all work completed as such, the original unused spare is in the boot alongside the unused medical kit and of course the car is complemented by a comprehensive from day-one history file including full book pack and various dealer booklets and magazines of the day. Never intended to be such a comprehensive restoration project, with the plan to simply tidy the car up, our vendor has for want of a better word ‘shot himself in the foot’ striving for perfection he has created one of the best if not the best example on the market, as new yet drivable, boasting the last Lotus re-worked straight-six and with provenance that cannot be replicated, viewing is imperative to appreciate the opportunity to collectors and enthusiasts alike. The sixth generation of the Porsche 911 was dubbed the 997 and introduced in 2005. It retained the previous model’s basic profile but drew on the 993 for detailing. In addition, the new headlights reverted to the original bug-eye design. The interior was similarly revised, with strong links to the earlier 911 interiors while at the same time looking fresh and modern. Initially, two versions of the 997 were introduced, the rear-wheel-drive Carrera and Carrera S. In late 2005 Porsche introduced the four-wheel drive versions of the 997, the Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S which were announced as 2006 models. The 997 remains a worthy model of one of the most celebrated sports cars ever produced and also received a vast amount of positive reviews from the worldwide motoring press, with Jeremy Clarkson, a known detractor of Porsche cars, noting that the 997 will "make love to your fingertips and stir your soul."The Carrera 4S is often dubbed as the best all rounder in the world of 911’s and this is an excellent example, having covered only 48,000 miles. The car is fitted with the Tiptronic gearbox, which makes this four-wheel drive convertible a very refined cruiser and offers a far more relaxing driving experience than its highly strung manual sibling. The understated black over black colour scheme suits the car perfectly, the paintwork is in excellent condition and the interior shows very little signs of ageing. The car has clearly always been cherished and well cared for, having been serviced on average every 6,000 miles, always by Porsche specialists, or main agents. The most recent service was carried out by Maundrell Porsche Specialists in August 2024, they also serviced the car in May 2022, at which point the drive belt was also replaced, just 10,000 miles ago. This 911 is offered to auction with a V5C registration certificate, MoT test certificate valid until August 2025 and a service book containing records of all services carried out on the car. Finished in the delightful colour combination of Seal Grey with grey leather interior, this low mileage example really needs to be seen to be appreciated. The seats show hardly any signs of wear, and the paintwork appears to be from the factory with only minor blemishes which could be easily rectified but show how original this car is. Fitted with a factory sunroof and rear parking sensors it has also been fitted with an upgraded touchscreen navigation and entertainment system, although the original is also supplied. Having covered less than 7,000 miles in the last ten years it comes with its original bookpack showing six OPC service stamps up to 2017 and a further two Porsche Specialist services, the most recent being July 2024. It also has two keys, current V5C and full MoT history backing up how well this car has been looked after. This is a car to be enjoyed by a true enthusiast and could be put into show condition with minimum effort. Consigned by John Dutton. LOW MILEAGEMANUAL GEARBOXFRESH MOTHIGHLY ORIGINAL

In total, 94,619 TR6s were built of which 86,249 were sold overseas and only 8,370 were sold in the UK.Supplied new to the temperate climes of California this particular TR6 was repatriated to the UK in 1996 and was converted to right hand drive at the same time. As a US supplied car it runs on SU carburettors which are easily maintained and most likely more reliable than the fuel injected UK cars. Said to drive extremely well the car started immediately on inspection and ran smoothly. With current V5c, a large history file and current Mot (despite not being required) this car can be enjoyed just as it is and is sure to put a smile on the face of its new owner.
