1965 Sunbeam Alpine GT Series IVMake: Sunbeam Model: Alpine GTYear: 1965Mileage: 60236VIN: B94104379GTHR0Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: DFY555CTransmission: manualThis 1592cc Sunbeam Alpine GT with the GT denoting its removable hard-top fitment - was registered in July 1965 and now has 60,236 miles showing on its odometer, albeit not warranted. Although, as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires MoT testing, it has a certificate valid through until March 2023. Four former registered keepers are noted on the V5C. The car gives the impression of an older restoration. It appears solid but there is some 'orange peel' in the paint in places as well as some minor bubbling here and there, along with some tarnishing to the brightwork and light pitting on the Mazak parts. The window bottom weatherstrips are missing on both doors. The interior is complete but shows wear in places, with some bits of loose trim apparent. A modern face-off stereo is fitted, as are competition-style harness belts. It is a useable and presentable example that would benefit from improvement - including extra securing in place of the GT hard-top roof. The paperwork folder runs to just the V5C, the current MoT certificate and a print-out of the online MoT history summary back to May 2006 when the mileage was recorded as 57,884 miles.

When purchased in 1996, it was in a dilapidated condition; Practical Classics magazine covered its story that same year. The owner had C J Kyte of Shrewsbury undertake an extensive restoration during 1996, after which the car participated in the London to Brighton Classic Car Run the following year. The Minor's first owner was the Duke of Bedford (of Woburn Abbey), and his ownership details are retained in the history file. The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate declares the car to have been Old English White with Cherokee red trim when new. The hood is red mohair. The mileage showing on the odometer is 17,580 and five former registered keepers are recorded on the V5C. The last MoT expired in July 2022, although as an historic vehicle, the Morris no longer requires annual testing. The history folder includes the V5C, London to Brighton Run photo and entrant letter, Morris Minor Owners' Club appraisal, owner's correspondence, restoration information, MoTs from 1997 to 2020, various tax discs between 1980 and 2013, original sales brochure, a great many receipts and invoices, and various other documents. They used Mini running gear for their underpinnings, with a very distinctive and unusual open body on top. This example was registered in July 2001 and is correctly registered on the V5C as an Onyx, rather than as the original donor vehicle. It features a Metro 1275cc A-series engine. The recorded mileage showing on the odometer is 98,804 miles and the MoT is valid until April 2023. The history folder runs to the V5C, which shows four previous registered keepers from new. It was previously owned by the secretary of one of the Triumph clubs. The vendor describes the car as in 'exceptional condition' and we'd concur with this; it has been very well looked after inside and out. The Triumph was registered during September 1964 and has had just five previous registered keepers from new. As an historic vehicle, the TR4 no longer requires MoT testing; its last one expired in July 2018. The current odometer reading is 5649 miles.

1966 Sunbeam Alpine Series VMake: Sunbeam Model: Alpine Year: 1966Mileage: 83473VIN: B395005504GT0DConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: EGW831DTransmission: manualThe Sunbeam Alpine Series V was introduced in October 1965 with the same 92.5bhp 1725cc engine as the Sunbeam Rapier, a tough and reliable unit that is regarded as one of the better engines of the era. The Series V continued until January 1968, when production ceased. This example was registered in May 1966 and has had five previous registered keepers, with the last but one keeping it for over 12 years. The car is finished in a non-standard but attractive BMW Avus Blue, with a black leather interior. The vendor admits that while it presents quite well, it would now benefit from some further restoration and detailing. The original GT hard-top is fitted; there is no soft-top available. The recorded mileage is 83,473 miles, and while this can't be warranted, the very extensive history file does suggest this figure is accurate. We're told by the vendor that all the instruments work, and the overdrive operates as it should. The tyres are good, and surround wire wheels fitted with embellishers. A stainless steel exhaust is fitted and the bumpers have been refurbished. While, as an historic vehicle, the Sunbeam is MoT-exempt, a new ticket was put on it in May 2022. There are certificates from 1995 to 2017, when the car was SORNed. It was acquired in 2021 by the vendor, who has partially recommissioned it. The history folder is large and detailed. It features invoices, books, magazines, brochures, catalogues, tax discs, photographs and information/memorabilia from shows that the car has taken part in. Best of all, there is a handwritten log that lists all the work carried out from 1990 to 2015. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 19TH JULY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

1999 RAM SC AC 427 5.8 V8 Make: RAMModel: SC AC 427Year: 1999Mileage: 2765VIN: SABTVR03599232375Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: BHJ511STransmission: manual While RAM Automotive cars look outwardly similar to other Cobra replicas, they are somewhat different under their double-skinned fibreglass shell. Rather than the usual ladder frame chassis, there's a full spaceframe instead, developed in conjunction with the race car constructors, Reynard, which gives increased rigidity and thus offers handling benefits too, as does the Jaguar XJ6-derived suspension. The steering rack is courtesy of an MGB. While many RAM Cobra replicas were fitted with a mildly-tweaked Rover V8, in some cases a large American V8 unit was used, to give giving similar performance to the original Shelby Cobra. That seems to be the case with this example, which has a 5811cc Ford V8 unit installed. The Scozia Metallic (a Fiat shade) car was built by the vendor in 1999, when it also passed an SVA test. We're told that the car has only had summer use and always been garaged. It was last on the road during 2016; the last MoT expired in June 2016. The odometer shows 2765 miles, which appears to be the total mileage since the RAM was built. The history folder includes the V5C (showing the vehicle as a RAM), which shows no previous owners prior to the vendor. There are also operating instructions on opening the bonnet, starting procedure and engine cooling, plus paperwork and receipts relating to the original build, including the SVA test and registration. The MoT certificates span 2002 to 2015, with the first one - in July 2002 - at 260 miles. The original build manual is enclosed with the paperwork too, as is a 2015 newspaper clipping from a show the RAM appeared at. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 15TH JULY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

The history folder includes the V5C, owner's handbook, workshop manual, and some documentation relating to an Accuspark electronic ignition. Its MoT is valid until June 2023 and its odometer shows 56,940 miles. The car comes with a wind deflector, stainless steel exhaust (fitted by an Alfa specialist), Alpine CD player, original keys and security tags and a spare replacement foglight. The car's history folder includes the V5C, Practical Classics magazine buying guide, and a small selection of invoices. There's also the original bill of sale (for £23,394.73) and the current MoT certificate. 1984 TVR TasminMake: TVR Model: Tasmin Year: 1984Mileage: 1028VIN: DH5656F1Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: A678MFDTransmission: manualThis stylish and distinctive TVR Tasmin started life as a 2792cc car, but now has a 2.9-litre engine (believed to be from a Cosworth unit from a Ford Scorpio) installed. It was registered in March 1984 and has an MoT until June 2023. The odometer shows 1028 miles. Reference to the history file (well-organised in a bound black leather folder) shows the seats were recovered in 2008 and a black mohair hood and Targa section was installed in 2010. There are a great many other general bills stretching back across the car's life, along with old tax discs and a selection of MoT certificates back to March 1987, when the mileage was recorded as 48,246 miles. It looks as if the TVR crossed the 100,000-mile barrier around 1991/1992, although this was presumably quite a while before its new engine was installed.
