A 1940s Longines 10K gold filled watch, Art Deco style, curved rectangular case width 25mm, signed square dial with Arabic numerals, sword hands and seconds subsidiary at 6 o'clock, 10L 15 jewel manual wind movement, serial number 6303911, later brown leather strap. Condition - not currently running, ticks briefly when wound, does not advance, general wear, crazed glass, case appears free from any holes but gold plating is worn off at corners.

In 1978, also childless, the Albonico family chose Roberto Boglietti to take over the running of the world famous atelier.
