A Rolex Precision gentleman's wristwatch, late 1960's, with 9ct gold case and clasp, manual wind, the oyster face with subsidiary second dial, Arabic numerals at 2, 4, 8 and 10, further batons, and minute markers, the movement marked 'N652272' and '1000' below the balance wheel, case marked '18920', London 1966, on a woven strap with Rolex marked clasp, 55.8g total weight.

Mahogany Bureau with delicate stringing and cross banded top and similar inlay to the cleated fall with central urn inlay, opening to reveal six pigeonholes and central miniature cupboard with single panel inlaid door flanked by two short drawers. The base having two short frieze drawers, flanked by manual lopers over long drawer all with Oak linings and strung fronts, brass handles and escutcheons, on inlaid lower apron, tapering square legs and spade feet, 28 1/2'' wide x 39 3/4'' high x 18'' deep.

This wristwatch was purchased by Eric Clapton from Watches of Switzerland, London, in May 2014, this was between tour dates in Atlanta, Georgia, USA (3rd May) and Glasgow, UK (21st June) the rubber strap currently on the watch (the original 18 carat Rolex strap is included with this lot) was the choice of Eric Clapton as he wished to go with the fashion for gold watches, the strap was fitted in Bond street and is made to only fit the Rolex Daytona model number 116528, he then proceeded to wear the watch with the rubber strap, the watch was purchased by a Rolex collector in 2016
