This UK-supplied, right-hand drive Quattro WR has remained on a family farm for 39 years and is on offer at No Reserve. This 2,144cc in-line, five-cylinder, 10-valve Audi Quattro WR was purchased brand new in 1984 by a local farmer from Testwood Motors of Southampton. It was finished in Zermatt Silver with a Brazil cloth interior and was fitted from new with a sunroof and a Blaupunkt Atlanta radio/cassette. In 1995 (the final Tax Disc expired on 30th November 1995), he passed it down to his son at 139,000 miles but he chose never to drive it, storing it in a corner of a barn until recently. The storage area didn't let in much daylight and the car appears to be in remarkably original condition under the dust, the interior in particular benefitting from being kept in favourable light conditions. It's supplied with its original wider alloys on original Pirelli P7Rs which are uncracked due to the dark storage, three keys and the history file containing numerous MOTs, invoices, drivers manuals etc.On offer at No Reserve, this remarkable barn-find Quattro appears in good shape and would be great fun to recommission and detail prior to returning to the road.Specification Make: AUDI Model: QUATTRO Year: 1984 Chassis Number: WAUZZZ85ZEA900967 Registration Number: A288 0H0 Transmission: Manual Engine Number: WR005163 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Make: RHDClick here for more details and images

Lot 103

**Please note the registration number of this car is XCA 955K as per the photographs, not XCA 995K as erroneously catalogued.** A beautifully restored B Roadster, thoughtfully upgraded and presenting well - offered at No Reserve. Introduced in 1962, the MG B Roadster enjoyed an 18-year production run. With nicely balanced handling and a good turn of speed, it merited the old MG marketing slogan 'Safety Fast'. Based around a monocoque chassis featuring independent coil-sprung front suspension and a leaf-sprung 'live' rear axle, its 1,798cc B series four-cylinder engine was allied to a 4-speed manual transmission. Capable of over 100mph, the provision of front disc brakes and rack-and-pinion steering greatly aided control.First registered on 4th April 1972, towards the end of Mk II production, XCA 995K displays 84,900 recorded and credible miles and has been enjoyed by just six former keepers since 1972. It was the subject of an extensive bodywork restoration and paint in the early 2000s, with many receipts from The Welsh MG Centre and Moss Europe that document the purchase of new front wings, a new fuel tank, bumper parts and grille pieces (to name just a few items) since 2001. Finished in gleaming British Racing Green and sitting on chrome wires, the refurbishment was obviously carried to an excellent standard as the B still presents beautifully. The car also benefits from a Kenlowe fan, electronic ignition and is fitted with overdrive. Inside, the cockpit has been freshened with an aftermarket Burr Walnut-effect dashboard trim and complementing it all is a set of cream leather MG F seats with cream door cards and matching carpets. It's supplied with the aforementioned invoices, old MOT Certificates and related MOT garage test invoices, its V5C and the normal manuals etc.People can be a bit dismissive about MG Bs, possibly because there are so many around, but they are handsome, affordable classics that go and handle well, and with the top down on a summer's day, represent all that we love about British sports cars, particularly when they look this good.SpecificationMake: MGModel: B ROADSTERYear: 1972Chassis Number: GHN52748279Registration Number: XCA 995KTransmission: ManualDrive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 84900 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Cream leatherClick here for more details and images

Lot 104

Brightly presented, versatile Series III County Safari with celebrity provenance and on offer at No Reserve. This attractive 1983 Series III 'County' spec diesel Station Wagon with the desirable Safari top was originally registered in December 1983. This was towards the end of Series III production and consequently it would have benefitted from the 1982 facelift which included all-new cloth seats, soundproofing kits, tinted glass and other 'soft' options designed to appeal to the leisure owner/user.A previous owner invested in a full refurbishment some years ago and the work included a cylinder head overhaul to enable the use of unleaded, all the engine ancillaries were either replaced or renewed including new carburettors, new battery and radiator, the transmission was rebuilt, the suspension, brakes and all steering parts were also renewed whilst the original body was stripped, a new rear wing and door skin fitted and completely repainted. It now presents wonderfully in Masai Red with a Limestone Safari roof and classic limestone steel wheels and the County Grey cloth on the seats appears excellent. The practical seat configuration of this iconic car consists of three individual seats in the front and four inwards facing fold away seats in the rear which are equally adept at taking friends to the pub for a pint or transporting livestock should you need. This flexibility appealed to our vendor, the well-known singer/songwriter and classic car enthusiast, Jay Kay, who has used it over recent years whilst at his holiday home for taking the kids to the beach and the kind of things that Land Rovers do best. With comparatively low-mileage of just 59,600, this is an economical, totally reliable and versatile Series Land Rover, enhanced by its Safari Roof and perhaps by a little celebrity provenance. On offer at No Reserve, we look forward to your interest.Specification Make: LAND ROVER Model: SERIES III Year: 1983 Chassis Number: SALLBABH1BA201506 Registration Number: A693 KVM Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 36136078 Odometer Reading: 59632 Miles Make: Interior Colour: County Grey ClothClick here for more details and images
