- Extremely rare 5-speed manual and presumed a special order car - Only two recorded keepers from new and showing less than 20,000 miles - Reportedly 'very good to excellent' overall, Biscuit leather and MOT'd till Oct 2016 Any Series III XJ Saloon is a beautifully refined way to travel and the Daimler variant is a step further with its luxuriously appointed interior and legendary ride quality. In nearly all cases these cars are fitted with smooth but power sapping automatic transmissions, but to have direct control of the fuel injected engine's performance through the 5-Speed manual gearbox fitted to this example must surely make it a fantastic driving experience. This Daimler Sovereign 4.2 is described by the vendor as being in 'very good to excellent' overall condition, and this coupled with its rare gearbox choice and wonderfully period colour combination must make the car a special find for collectors of the Jaguar and Daimler marques. As well as the high level of standard Daimler features, this Sovereign also boasts an electric sunroof and electric height adjustment to the front seats. A copy of an October 1989 issued registration document on file shows that this 4.2 was sold new to a Mr Jepson of Whickham, near Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and photographs of it glistening on a driveway show it as having the personalised number plate THJ 15. The history file also contains a hand-written sales invoice dated November 5th 1989 from Mr Jepson to the car's second and current recorded keeper, a gentleman from a village near Nantwich, Cheshire. A letter from this gentleman written in January 2016 states that he acquired the car from Mr Jepson when the odometer recorded just over 19,000 miles, and shortly after purchasing the car he felt that it was too good an example to use as every day transport and placed it in dry storage in his barn. Sensibly he claims to have occasionally exercised the car on his property, but at the age of ninety-five, he has given up driving and the car needs to find a new home. The car was issued with a new MOT certificate on October 14th 2015 when the odometer recorded just 19,620 miles, which joins previous certificates in the file from May 1986 when the odometer recorded 7,975 miles, July 1987 at 11,694 miles, September 1988 at 15,973 miles, September 1989 at 19,224 miles, and May 1991 at 19,577 miles. This must present a very rare opportunity to acquire a Daimler Sovereign with manual transmission, such low recorded owners and mileage, and in such a fine reported condition.

PLEASE NOTE: The vendor informs us that this vehicle was driven from Modena (Italy) to London and more recently was driven to the auction venue from London. We have noticed that a small fuel leak has developed from a carburettor and therefore advise that the vehicle is not driven away from the auction venue. We can assist with arranging transport if required. - Supplied new by S.I.A.M of Modena and imported from the same city in 2014 - LHD, black velour upholstery, 5-speed manual, radio delete and fresh MOT - 53,000 recorded Kms and reportedly in 'very good overall' condition
- 5 litre V8, automatic transmission, Holley carburettor with ram air scoop - 41,138 recorded miles and MOT'd into July 2016 - UK Supplied, rare RHD example and 4 previous keepers The phenomenal success of the '64 Mustang is engrained in American automotive folklore, and while McQueen's Detective Frank Bullitt immortalised the '68 Fastback variant, the fact is that by the end of that decade the model had grown too big and sales had dropped away. So in 1970 Lee Iacocca ordered the development of an all-new smaller pony car and, in a fortunate piece of timing, the newcomer arrived coincident with the oil crisis - 'the right car at the right time' - and over one million examples were sold during its four year reign. The Mustang II on offer is a 1976 Liftback model that's equipped with the top of the range 4.9-litre (302ci) V8 engine, the intake to the Holley carburettor of which is aided by a 'ram air' scoop. Finished in Bronze and trimmed in a mix of Bronze and Black, 'ORH 152P' is a rare UK-supplied right-hand drive example that's had five keepers to date, the most recent of which has retained the fast Ford since 2010. He is now selling it complete with a sales invoice from 1977, Haynes manual, club magazine, and collection of old invoices and MOTs, plus one valid to July 14th 2016.

- Recently re-painted in its original livery, Black/Grey striped upholstery - 59,000 recorded miles, 4-speed manual and 5 previous keepers - Offered with a collection of invoices, parts catalogue and fresh MOT Believed but not warranted to have covered some 59,000 miles from new, `WMV 951Y' has recently been re-painted in its original two tone livery with the wheels also being refurbished. Having been previously a Cat C insurance write off in 1997 when the values of 1980's Ford were not the same as today the Capri is offered with a collection of invoices, parts catalogue and a fresh MOT certificate. Having 5 former owners and a long term previous keeper the vendor currently rates the Ford as follows: - Bodywork: 'Very Good' Engine: 'Very Good' Electrical Equipment: 'Very Good' Paintwork: 'Very Good' Gearbox: 'Very Good' Interior Trim: 'Very Good'
- Original RHD example fitted with 2.0 litre engine mated to 5-speed manual transmission - Recent oil and filter change but would benefit from further fettling - Accompanied by Porsche Certificate of Authenticity The 912 was Porsche's entry model for the 911 range and initially substantially outsold its six-cylinder sibling. Production ran from 1965 to 1969, during which in excess of 32,000 were manufactured. The vast majority were Coupes, 5,598 of which were bodied by Karmann for Porsche during the 1968 model year. Enthusiastic 912 customers included the German autobahn police. This RHD example was purchased by the vendor in 2013 as a Cat D insurance write off which the vendor subsequently repaired with the replacement of the off side headlamp and front bumper. The vendor informs us the Porsche is fitted with fiberglass front and rear wings and 2.0 litre engine with 5 speed gearbox. Offered with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and recently having an oil and filter change the vendor currently rates the Porsche as follows: - Bodywork: 'Average' Engine: 'Good' Electrical Equipment: 'Average' Paintwork: 'Average' Gearbox: 'Good' Interior Trim: 'Average'
- Recently imported from America and now UK registered and MOT'd - Left hand drive, red leather, recently repainted, and engine serviced - Reportedly 'very good' (interior, gearbox) to 'excellent' (body, engine, electrics) The 190SL was introduced in 1955, the year Mercedes-Benz swept all before it on the Mille Miglia with the 300SLR, and the graceful new two-door convertible grand tourer was sold alongside the road-going version of the SLR, the 300SL, whose styling it strongly resembled. In fact, the underpinnings of the two cars were quite different and, while the 300SL had a purpose-built tubular spaceframe (W198), its smaller sibling was built on a shortened version of the 'Ponton' saloon (W121) platform, which was of a monocoque construction. The 190SL also boasted an all-new engine, an over-square SOHC straight-four unit of 1897cc that produced some 105bhp, which was sufficient to propel the car to a maximum speed of 112mph. The engine was coupled to a four-speed manual gearbox operated by a lever between the seats. The suspension comprised double wishbones and coil springs at the front and a coil-sprung swing axle at the rear. Steering was by recirculating ball and braking by power-assisted drums all round. Built to the highest standards and among the quickest comparable cars of the time, the 190SL featured a well-appointed cockpit, notable comfort for its occupants and relatively generous luggage space. Under the circumstances, even the steep asking price did nothing to deter purchasers. The convertible could be ordered with or without a removable hard top. There was also the option of a third seat that was placed transversely behind the front ones and big enough to carry an adult. The 190SL continued in production until 1963, when both it and the 300SL were replaced by the Pagoda. By this time over 25,000 190SLs had been built. This example of Mercedes-Benz's beautiful 190SL was imported from America by the vendor in 2015 and was immediately subjected to a repaint, the works of which were still to be completed during our photography; the chrome sill strips will be fitted before the sale. The vendor states that the paint is "new" and the body that it was applied to is "excellent" and features "great shut lines". The engine is also described as being "excellent" and reportedly features "great oil pressure" and we are informed that it will have a service before the sale. With UK registration having recently been granted by the DVLA this beautiful Mercedes-Benz just awaits a new owner and the summer motoring season ahead.

- A much loved example with comprehensive history file - Chrome Wire wheels, hard top, Boot rack and picnic basket - 113,753 recorded miles and MoT'd into March 2016 That it took the aftermarket to turn the Triumph Stag into the desirable model it should have been straight from the factory is one of the great travesties of the British car industry. This right-hand drive 'home market' example is certainly appealingly presented in the combination of Deep Metallic Blue bodywork and Beige interior trim. It drives through the optional automatic transmission and rides on a gleaming new set of chrome wire wheels. Other obvious non-standard fitments include a chromed luggage rack and picnic basket, and aftermarket fly screen, while beneath the bonnet lies a second radiator for optimal cooling. 'VLL 729M' was apparently dispatched new to Henly's of London on May 15th 1974, since when its odometer indicates it to have covered 113,753 miles. The vendor informs us that it was treated to a restoration in c.2002 and describes the Triumph as 'a much loved example' and is offering it complete with: hard top (though he notes this has been accidently scratched in storage); tonneau covers; original handbook, workshop manual and aftermarket parts catalogue; large collection of photos, including ones of the restoration; Heritage Certificate; and numerous old invoices, tax discs and MOTs, plus one valid to March 18th 2016.
- Extensively restored in the early 2000s with thousands spent on parts - Engine and suspension uprated with Stage 1 camshaft and anti-roll bar - c.12,000 post-refurbishment miles, large history file, MOT'd till Jan 2017 Finished in Red with Black vinyl upholstery, 'XJR 531J' is described by the vendor as being in 'excellent' condition with regard to its engine, four-speed manual plus overdrive gearbox, electrical equipment, interior trim and paintwork, while he rates the bodywork as 'very good'. Extensively restored in the early 2000s, work is understood to have included: a thorough bodywork refurbishment and bare metal repaint plus gearbox, suspension, rear axle and engine overhauls (the latter two being further enhanced via the fitment of an anti-roll bar and Stage 1 camshaft respectively). Some 12,000 miles later the B GT is still said to 'drive very well indeed'. Riding on Rostyle wheels, this smart MG is offered for sale with a V5C Registration Document and large history file containing invoices for the thousands of pounds spent on parts during its rejuvenation.
- 3 former keepers, dry stored for a decade and 29,800 recorded miles - Recently recommissioned and said to be in 'very good overall' condition - Grey cloth, appropriate reg no, 2.8 V6, 5-speed manual and fresh MOT Vendor Condition Ratings: Bodywork: 'Very Good' Engine: 'Very Good' Electrical Equipment: 'Good' Paintwork: 'Very Good' Gearbox: 'Very Good' Interior Trim: 'Very Good'
PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle has covered 56,348 miles and not as stated in the printed catalogue. - Three former keepers and 45,000 recorded miles - Reportedly 'not the ordinary run of the mill TF' and in 'excellent overall' order - Grey/Cloth upholstery, hardtop, 5-speed manual and MOT'd till Sep 2016
