This is only the second Winchester Model 64 picture box that we have ever encountered. The end label reads "Model 64 Centerfire Rifle .30-30 Winchester Solid Frame" with penciled serial No. 1500220 (1949). It has an original Shenk Bros. King Street Lancaster, Pennsylvania sales receipt taped to box. The picture label measures 6" x 20" and is done in red, white, black and brown with image of rifle that measures 12-1/2" long. Label is in very good condition and has the expected usual storage wear but is still bright. Inside the box are five original cardboard dividers, two blocks of wood, and an original Model 64 instruction manual. This rare box would add innumerable value if you have a solid frame Model 64 .30-30 from this production era in mint condition.
Less than 9,000 Auto-Mags were produced by all manufacturers. This is an original Pasadena model of which 3,300 were manufactured in .44 AMP caliber only with 6-1/2" vent rib barrel. The handgun was made famous in the 1983 Dirty Harry movie "Sudden Impact". This pistol comes in original plastic carry case with the original May 1971 dated manual with bullet chart. It was subsequently engraved by Ben Shostle, a charter member of the Firearms Engravers Guild of American in Munci, Indiana. His certificate of engraving, dated 1994, lists this manufacture, model, caliber, and serial number (he wrote serial No. A01939 instead A01959). Has deep scroll and leaf engraving on frame, barrel and trigger guard done in the deep chiseled relief Germanic style. Has the stainless steel polished finished with black composite grips. Appears to have never been fired since finished. Mint action and near mint bore. Sports adjustable target sights. Simply a fantastic, early AMT Auto-Mag. Box hinge is broken. Serial Number-A01959; Manufacturer-Auto Mag; Model-180; Caliber-.44 AMP; Barrel Length-6 - 1/2"; FFL Status-Modern;
Manufactured 1947. This as new L.C. Smith shotgun is literally never found in the original box. The end label matches perfectly to this shotgun. It is basically a manila box with black and white label. When examining the interior of this shotgun, it does not appear to have ever been fired and looks to have only been assembled a couple of times. It is a side lock with top barrel release, tang safety, double set triggers, blued trigger guard, case colored frame. Frame retains virtually all of its original case colors and trigger retains virtually all of its original blue. Both left side screws have slight mar from someone tightening. Frame is stamped "L.C. Smith" on outside of locks and "Field" stamped inside of frame. Pistol grip walnut stocks are near mint. Metal pistol grip cap shows some browning. Has a dealer applied Pachmayr red waffle pad that was probably put on when delivered. A hint of finish checking at flutes. Has a splinter walnut forearm that shows the gun has been taken apart a few times, but is still near new. Barrels retain nearly all of their original high polish blue finish and feature single bead front sight with full solid matted rib, manual ejectors. Barrel lugs do show a couple spots of wear on high edges. "L.C. Smith Field Grade" on barrels. A bit of thinning at breech of left barrel, a couple of storage marks and mirror bores. Box has all dividers and no paperwork. If this gun was ever fired, it was carefully disassembled, cleaned and placed in its original box. Serial Number-S12777; Manufacturer-L.C. Smith; Model-SxS; Barrel Length-30"; FFL Status-Curio & Relic; Gauge-12; Chamber-2-3/4"; Length of Pull-14"; Drop at Comp-1-5/8"; Drop at Heel-2-9/16"; Internal Bore Diameter-Both - .734"; Barrel Wall Thickness-Both Barrels - .043"; Choke-Left - Modified, Right - Full;

1965 Jaguar MK II 3.4 Litre - Current ownership since 1988 and MOT'd into Feb 2018 - Engine overhauled c.2002 and stainless steel exhaust fitted - Offered with history file and Jaguar Heritage certificate Further Info: The manual transmission 3.4-litre MKII on offer was first registered in June 1965. Once Maroon in colour, it is these days finished in Red and trimmed in Beige leather that's teamed with Beige carpets. According to the V5C, the Jaguar has only had four keepers to date, the most recent of whom has retained it since 1988, and for some years used it for club runs etc. He informs us that the clutch and bell-housing were replaced in 1990 and that the nearside door sills have been refurbished and the engine overhauled in 2002. More recent activity has included the overhauling of the brake system, and replacement of the petrol tank, roof lining, carpets and front door cards. The vendor now views the Jaguar's bodywork and XK engine as 'very good' and the paintwork, interior trim and four-speed manual transmission with overdrive as 'good'. 'CBX 714C' is being sold complete with history file and heritage certificate.
1972 Jaguar XJ6 - Two owners from new - Upgraded with 4.2-litre engine and manual o/drive gearbox - Offered with extensive history including MOTs, service book and schedules, Jaguar correspondence, invoices, original tool kit, etc. We are indebted to the vendor for the following description: "Originally purchased from Lex Mead Cardiff on 11th July 1972 as a 2.8 manual complete with the following extras: heated rear window, Sundym Glass, Inertia seat belts and Endrust treatment. It was bought for the princely sum of £2,853.94. The car has had 2 former keepers. Original ownership was from 1972 to 2000. The second owner had the car from 2000 until earlier this year. All the MOT's, original service books, service schedules, fabulous Jaguar correspondence and every invoice/receipt are supplied with the car. On reading the details it appears, as was common with 2.8 units that the original engine failed. Jaguar replaced the engine and it failed again so in 1986 when the car had done just under 40,000 miles Jaguar replaced the engine once and for all with a brand new 4.2 unit. The brakes were upgraded to 4.2 format complete with paperwork supporting the upgrade. The car has been kept in a heated garage for most of its life and hence its condition. The current owner has carried out additional work after procuring the car earlier this year. The paint was flattened back and any remedial repairs undertaken, the bodywork was deemed to be in excellent so repairs were minimal. The respray was executed using the correct original specification Warwick Grey paint and the wheels refurbished in the appropriate colour. The interior has been leather restored however there remains a small split in the driver door handle which could easily be repaired. The vendor states that all the work was carried out professionally to a very high standard. The engine has only done 17,000 miles since it was fitted and deemed excellent by the vendor. The carburettors have been stripped and cleaned along with the fuel lines and tanks, the two fuel pumps and filters have been replaced for new items. The water pump was replaced, new hoses fitted where required and the radiator flushed, the car has also received black 'waxoyle' treatment to the underside. The steering rack was replaced with a brand new genuine Jaguar unit as too was the front cross member. We refurbished the exhaust system which is 'twin stainless' apart from the down. The car still also contains the original Jaguar Tool Kit. The car has just been MOT'd, said by the vendor to run and drive superbly. There are very few faults, the boot floor cover is original but has some wear marks and the tacho is a little temperamental. This car is extremely rare as it is a 4.2 MOD, with a low warranted mileage on a 17,000 mile from new engine with every bit of paperwork. Described by the vendor as a genuinely fabulous car."
