1978 Vauxhall VX 2300 EstateMake: Vauxhall Model: VX 2300 EstateYear: 1978Mileage: 83372VIN: 9L35NHY136761Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: AEV974STransmission: manualFinished in yellow - although the registration document still lists its original colour of blue - this 1978 estate, with two former keepers, hails from the final days of the Vauxhall VX series (as the Victor FE range had been rechristened in 1976). Fitted with the 2279cc four-cylinder engine, this car's last MoT was in 2018 at 83,365 miles. It now shows 83,372 miles on its odometer. The V5 is present, although there is little other paperwork. There is some corrosion to be found on the body - such as the roof, around the rear wheel arches and the bottom of the driver's door - but the grey velour interior, with its fake wood trim, should respond well to a valet. 1984 Mercedes W123 230EMake: MercedesModel: 230EYear: 1984Mileage: 68763VIN: 12322324203764Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: B495BOJTransmission: manualWith a low mileage of 68,763 miles, this Nautic Blue example of one of the most resilient Mercedes-Benzes ever built has been well-looked after by its three owners. One owner even went so far to keep a pocket book of its adventures, starting in 2004 at 25,502 miles, and continuing through to 2010 and 43,949 miles. This included all stops for petrol and any maintenance carried out, with an overall 29mpg being noted, The vendor comments that the car has 'nice, straight bodywork' and is also 'excellent underneath'. The history folder includes 16 MoTs dating back to 2004, with the latest expiring in June 2022. There's also an extensive collection of tax discs and a write-up of the car's life; it was originally supplied new to a director of a stainless steel company in the West Midlands, who kept it until 1990, covering just 20,000 miles. But, when he retired, he took the car with him and kept it until 2004, albeit only taking the mileage up to 25,000. It then went to the owner who kept such a detailed notebook of its travels. Over the 10 years of his custodianship, he only added an additional 20,000 miles. Both owners reputedly kept the car in spacious, heated garages and regularly cleaned and polished it. There was also conscientious servicing as and when the car needed it. It was purchased by its last registered owner in 2017 from an independent classic Mercedes specialist. All invoices from 2004 onwards are present and correct. Recent bills are for new tyres in 2016 and 2018, and an exhaust centre section in 2018. The last service on record was in August 2019 at 68,000 miles. Four registered owners. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 6TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

1954 Volvo Sugga LHD (Ex-John Coghlan of Status Quo)Make: VolvoModel: SuggaYear: 1954Mileage: 0VIN: 216Configuration: Left Hand DriveRegistration: 638UYMTransmission: manualFrom the collection of the late Mike Crowe. In Swedish, 'Sugga' means 'Sow' - not, perhaps, the most complimentary of nicknames, but the Volvo PV800 Sugga was never intended to be a glamorous model, being aimed at the both the taxi market and, in four-wheel drive form, the military. It served with both the Swedish and Belgian armed forces from World War Two onwards. This 1954 example went into service as a TP21 Radio Command Car, fitted with a six-cylinder 3.7-litre sidevalve petrol engine. It was imported into the UK during 1979 and has since had four registered keepers. The vendor believes that one of them was John Coghlan, the original drummer from Status Quo, who is well-known for his love of 4x4 and military machines. Although there's nothing in the paperwork to confirm this, there are images on the internet of him with this vehicle when it was registered ELT 853T, after coming to the Isle of Man at the end of the 1970s. It now wears a more age-related numberplate. The paperwork file includes a V5, photocopied handbook, some MoTs dating back to 2004, a couple of small bills, and a 2015 copy of Windscreen: The Magazine of the Military Vehicle Trust, plus a page from a French magazine also discussing the type. 1973 Datsun 240Z 3.1 litreMake: Datsun Model: 240ZYear: 1973Mileage: 22309VIN: HS30101239Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: SKM202MTransmission: manualIf this 1973 Datsun 240Z looks a little familiar, that's perhaps because it has been a magazine feature car, being owned by a long-standing motoring journalist. Its most recent appearances were during 2020, when it was the subject of a multi-part engine rebuild feature chronicled in Practical Performance Car magazine, upping capacity (and power, naturally) to 3.1 litres from the standard 2.4 litres. The process, documented from the March 2020 issue onwards, included a long stroke Nissan diesel crankshaft (83mm as opposed to 73.7mm), longer rods, and block bored out to accept 89mm pistons, raising the cubic capacity to 3098cc. There's a five-speed gearbox, while handling has been enhanced with the fitment of Gaz coilovers. Although the car was restored quite a while ago in 1990, at a cost of £2700, its condition is still extremely good, both inside and out. That it has been extremely well-looked after since then is confirmed by the large history folder that includes many MoTs from 1988 onwards, invoices dating back to the same period, and photocopies of past 'logbook' documents. The current mileage is recorded as 22,309, but this is unwarranted. However, as the mileage at its 1996 MoT was just 20,531, it's clear that this car has been lightly used over the last quarter of a century. Purchased from his friend, the vendor has owned this car since 1989. The car had previously spent several years off the road before being MoT'd in 2010 until 2017 when last issued and has covered less than 1,000 miles in this time. It has been subject to much work and in 2020 benefitted from an engine rebuild. Comes with current V5 and MoT history. The mileage is recorded at 91,208. Details and images to be updated on car's arrival.

1984 Morgan 4/4 1600Make: Morgan Model: 4/4 1600 Year: 1984Mileage: 0VIN: C6510Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: A258YABTransmission: manualRegistered on the 27th February 1984, this Morgan 4/4 has been in storage for many years and is offered for relatively straightforward restoration. Work has been started, the chassis has been stripped and now looks in excellent condition. The inner body and wood all repaired and the main part of the aluminium body replaced with new metal. The 1600 CVH engine has been running and a new starter motor was fitted. Owned originally from 1984 until 2016 by the first owner and then from 2016 to the present by the second who planned to finish the car, however this never happened. The car will need attention to the outer panels, paintwork, wiring, interior and weather gear, however a very good base to continue the existing work. Comes with current and older V5s.

1993 Rover Mini MayfairMake: Rover Model: Mini Mayfair Year: 0Mileage: 82479VIN: SAXXNWADBBD066351Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: K608PPXTransmission: manualFinished in Flame red with white roof. This Mayfair was previously fitted with a 1,275cc engine by Speedwell Conversions together with big valve head, Minispares manifold, 3 branch exhaust and electronic ignition. More recently it has benefitted from a new radiator and suspension cones/trumpets. Owned by the vendor since 2015, he describes it as a sound example without any filler and advises that it has only had weekend use throughout his six year ownership. He also describes it as a lovely little car that is very quick, has a nice interior and overall appearance. Comes with current V5, MoT history and a few receipts. The mileage is recorded at 82,479. Please note that this Mini was subject to an insurance claim in 1999. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 20TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

Tyke, a generous compliance Category D 24 x 5 metre liveaboard cruising/static houseboat, built by French and Peel, Staniland Marine, Thorne, 2004. Registered as moveable under power at sea. UK registration GB-SMBFPB 751302. BSS certificate BSSER-320488/16 expired 17th December 2020.PLEASE NOTE; this vessels attracts a buyers premium of 15% inc VAT plus the relevant internet platform fees. If in doubt please contact the auctioneers.Commissioned by our vendor and her husband in 2002 with the intention of travelling through the canals and rivers of Europe before heading to the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. Unfortunately, a change of circumstances meant she was never fully fitted out and she has lain unused for several years, the boat safety certificate ran out in December 2020; our vendors husband has passed away and she now wishes to emigrate to be near her family in New Zealand. Designed as a Home from Home, she was initially intended to be 27 metres before a change in Continental regulations meant 3 metres were removed. Handed over in 2004 the hull, with several steel bulkheads has a V bottom with twin bilge keels for drying out. All windows and doors are UPVC double glazed. Propulsion She is fitted with a Daewoo MD136T marine 250hp diesel engine (believed some 30 hours of use and run in 2020), shaft drive, the steel fuel tank is rated at 2000 litres, a S.A. Mart/Dong-1 hydraulic steering system was installed along with a Vetus bow thruster. The steering is operated from a steering platform that raises above the deck along with manual cut outs in the stern. Electrical system The electrics are Victron Phoenix charger and inverter with multiple power points through the vessel and fuse board in the utility room, there is also a E-QD marine generator. Heating and sanitation Heating is by a domestic Warmflow diesel boiler piped to radiators with separate hot water tank. The hot water uses a CMI water pump to the two showers, two vanity units, kitchen and the 3 person Cayman hot tub. Two Sanicompact dual flush toilets empty into two black tanks with emptying either side (one not connected), there are four fresh water interconnected tanks, believed 800 litres each, total 3200 litres, there are two grey water tanks. All of these systems need recommissioning due to lack of use. Layout The layout of the boat, which could be altered, comprises master bedroom in the bow with fully fitted wardrobes and vanity unit, there is a door and window to the bow deck with electric roller shutter, next comes the entrance hall, doors either side with adjustable steering platform above, a passageway leads to the utility room, with boiler, hot water tank, manual bilge pump, electric fuse board, shower and multiple cupboards. Next is the first heads. A door leads to the living/dining room with separate kitchen (too large to be a galley!). This leads through to the second bedroom/spa bathroom with separate shower and second heads. The stern section has a workshop to one side and a third bedroom to the other with door and electric roller shutter to the rear deck. Offered for sale as a project with no warranty implied or given, Spicers recommend that potential purchasers satisfy themselves as the completeness and useability of all components fitted. There are copious receipts for all works and fittings (VAT was reclaimed at the time of construction), instruction manuals for most, if not all fittings. It should be noted that the bulkhead beneath the steering platform was the only one with any water in the bilge, the others were all bone dry. It is believed the underside was painted c.2014 and the exterior c.2019. There is no mooring available with her and Spicers can only offer a very short period of mooring before she will be need to be moved. Tyke offers the competent ship fitter an ideal way to make their own mark on this impressive vessel that would be ideal to travel the waterways of Europe or be semi permanently moored in a marina, canal or river.
