Lot 511988 Austin Metro 1.3Reg. no. E613 NOUChassis no. SAXXFMW518D646979Engine no. TBCTransmission: ManualMileage: 123,476 milesMOT: Expired Estimate: £500 – 1,000 (No Reserve)R.E.A.L are honoured to offer the Sidnell collection barn finds in our upcoming auction. A variety of motor vehicles from the late Peter Sidnell who rented the same Wiltshire barn for over 30 years and was an avid fettler and classic car enthusiast. The majority of the cars were acquired before the early 80’s through friends and family where Peter had previously helped maintain their vehicles.E613 NOU was first registered in April 1998 as a manual, 4-door 1300cc model. The interior is quite tidy, and the panels are generally straight with just some minor surface rust; the underside does require some attention. It looks to require minimum work to get it back on the road considering it has been in a barn for so long that there’s not even any digital MOT records! The Metro is supplied with a current V5C document and a key.To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on July 1st at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU with viewing on the 29th and 30th of June, you can also join us at our Nostalgia Social cars & coffee event on June 25th. Viewing is welcome prior to sale and all cars are sold as seen, condition reports can be requested on each lot by contacting us direct. Lots are not available to buy prior to auction. Fully illustrated catalogue is available on the Richard Edmonds Auction website. Bids can be made online, by telephone or live on site. All lots are subject to commission.Vehicles that are un-registered or on foreign plates may require Import Duty and Vat to be paid upon purchase via HMRC prior to registering with the DVLA for a UK plate, if you are not sure please ask. For classic cars over 30 years this equates to 5% Duty on the final value. For cars described as MOT exempt (pre-1983) these vehicles may need their exemption registered with the DVLA.

Lot 541987 Austin Metro 1.3 City XReg. no. D441 GTCChassis no. TBCEngine no. TBCTransmission: ManualMileage: 84,294 milesMOT: Expired Estimate: £500 – 1,000 (No Reserve) R.E.A.L are honoured to offer the Sidnell collection barn finds in our upcoming auction. A variety of motor vehicles from the late Peter Sidnell who rented the same Wiltshire barn for over 30 years and was an avid fettler and classic car enthusiast. The majority of the cars were acquired before the early 80’s through friends and family where Peter had previously helped maintain their vehicles.D441 GTC was registered in March 1987. The four-door manual Metro was last taxed in 2001 so is quite possibly one of the last cars to enter the barn. Inside, the engine bay looks clean and solid, whilst the interior has fared well over the years. Certainly, both the underside and some panels will need fabrication work if it is to see the road again. It is supplied with a current V5C document and a key.To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on July 1st at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU with viewing on the 29th and 30th of June, you can also join us at our Nostalgia Social cars & coffee event on June 25th. The majority of the cars were acquired before the early 80’s through friends and family where Peter had previously helped maintain their vehicles.D880 UVW is another 1988 3-door manual car with some exciting factory decals. The blue bodywork has seen better days and will require a fair amount of attention. The brown/grey interior would also benefit from some work and a tidy up. The underside fares as well as the paintwork and this one could take more than a lick-and-a-polish to restore. To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on July 1st at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU with viewing on the 29th and 30th of June, you can also join us at our Nostalgia Social cars & coffee event on June 25th. Lot 581973 Vauxhall Ventora FEReg. no. MWD 292LChassis no. TBCEngine no. TBCTransmission: ManualMileage: 73,508MOT: Exempt Estimate: £2,500 – 3,500 (No Reserve) R.E.A.L are honoured to offer the Sidnell collection barn finds in our upcoming auction. A variety of motor vehicles from the late Peter Sidnell who rented the same Wiltshire barn for over 30 years and was an avid fettler and classic car enthusiast. The majority of the cars were acquired before the early 80’s through friends and family where Peter had previously helped maintain their vehicles. It is believed that just over 7,000 of the Ventora FE were produced between 1972-1978, according to the DVLA there are just three currently registered on UK roads. The high-end Victor sported a meaty 3.3-litre, 6-cylinder engine driving the rear wheels and most, like this one, had a 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. This earlier example registered in May of 1973, provided transport for the Sidnell family through much of the 1980s before they moved onto Renault 25s. The car was last taxed in September 1985 and has since been sat in the barn until recently when family friends have been able to get the car running and driving. It is reported to be mostly solid but still requires some restoration including paintwork. The sale includes a current V5C and a key.To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on July 1st at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU with viewing on the 29th and 30th of June, you can also join us at our Nostalgia Social cars & coffee event on June 25th. A3500251HCOTransmission: ManualMileage: 40,703 (Indicated)MOT: Exempt The Sunbeam Talbot 90 was launched in 1948, and although the running gear had pre-war origins, the stylish coachwork was all new. Lot 99

1965 Heinkel Tourist 103 A2Reg. no. HLH 721CFrame no. UnknownEngine no. 607793The Heinkel Tourist was manufactured in Germany between 1953 and 1965 by Heinkel Flugzeugwerke. 170,000 scooters were produced. It benefitted from several improvements during this time, and this version, the 103 A2 is the most recent to be made. Described as the ‘Rolls- Royce of scooters’, it benefitted from a 174cc four stroke engine, electric start and other features to give greater comfort, stability and reliability than many other scooters of the time. This scooter was purchased in 2013 from a dealer and is understood to have benefitted from a total restoration some years earlier. Since then it has been in intermittent use and has performed well. The paintwork, though not immaculate, is good for its age. The electrics are fine, except that the handlebar switches for horn and headlight dipping don’t function properly. The correct Heinkel windscreen is fixed in place, and a top box which can be swapped with the spare wheel and luggage rack is separately included, as is the user’s manual.

1929 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Limousine by Rippon Brothers, Huddersfield and exhibited at the 1929 Olympia Motor Show. Registration AZ3896, Chassis 20WJ. Six-cylinder 7.7 litre straight six engine with four-speed manual gearbox and retrofitted overdrive. This very handsome Phantom II is attractively finished in its original colour scheme of Black over Ivory with cream upholstery to the rear and black to the front. It has many vintage charms including a V windscreen, ornate silver plated door handles, twin smokers hatches in the roof, sliding division and ingenious folding and swivelling jump seats. It was sold after the motor show to an Irishman from Belfast and was to remain there until 1979 when it returned to the UK. It has been owned since by several enthusiasts and appears to have been generally well-maintained. The current owner garages 'Gracie', as she is affectionately known, along with her other pre-war Rolls at her stately home in Suffolk. During her 12-year ownership 'Gracie' has been enthusiastically driven attending many Rolls-Royce Club events and rallies notably a tour of Portugal in 2017. In recent years she has had considerable sums lavished upon her with the well-known Rolls-Royce specialist Jonathan Wood and others with bills totalling approx. £35,000 to keep her in good and reliable mechanical order. Some sensible modifications have been carried out including the fitting of an overdrive and an electric fuel pump although we are assured it is easily put back to running on its auto vac system should the new owner desire. It is supplied with V5, handbook, dummy cap, some tools and a large history file including the old buff logbook, articles from the 1929 Show and service bills. A very attractive honest vintage car with plenty of power, huge presence and a fascinating history. (Subject to 12% buyers premium inclusive of VAT).

Lot 15

1978 Lotus Esprit 2 door Coupe, 1973cc, manual, reg. no. VJM 900S, chassis number 7610/0194G engine number CC7761013130. Finished in white with original tartan interior and polished Wolfrace Slot Mag wheel this Esprit comes complete in true James Bond "The Spy Who Loved Me" colours. The current owner acquired the car in 2002, and over the next two decades, the Esprit was dry-stored in a barn, meaning the indicated mileage today of 50,108 is believed genuine. The dry storage has also meant the vehicle is in a very good state of preservation, as the photographs of it show. The car comes complete with a well filled history file containing MOTs and paperwork dating back to the 1980s, which also back up the indicated mileage, in addition to this, there is also a current V5, Series I Espirt sales brochure and correspondence relating to the car's appearance in 1998 at an England Monarchs American Football Team show, alongside James Bond's 'Q', actor Desmond Lewellyn. This very good-looking example of a scarce Series I Esprit (believed to be one only around 50 left in the UK) would make a fine project for any Lotus enthusiast. (Subject to 12% buyers premium inclusive of VAT).Good morning, The chassis appears to be sound overall from what we can see, naturally that is just a casual inspection, we have not had the car on a lift to inspect it fully so cannot comment on previous welding etc.The paintwork appears very good overall but I can have a thorough look over it and do a facetime call with you if that may be easier? Re. the engine, we need to have a look at this for several interested parties, so will add the results onto the website in the coming days.Kind Regards,Lewis
