1993 BMW E36 320i CoupeMake: BMW Model: 320i Year: 1993Mileage: 82260VIN: WBABF12040EK87062Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: K566BWLTransmission: manualAlthough purchased new in Holland by a member of the RAF, this 320 coupe is to full UK spec, and in right-hand drive. It has been constantly maintained by its owner who, being an aeronautical engineer, is probably little challenged by machines that don't have a habit of flying off into the ether. The car is in excellent condition inside and out. The history folder contains a full set of MoTs from 1993, with the current ticket expiring in March 2022. They confirm the recorded mileage of 84,260 as genuine. The BMW service book is stamped up to 65,350 miles (in 2012); since then, the owner has kept a note of the work he's done, with the last oil and filter change being at 82,265 miles in March 2020. Other paperwork includes miscellaneous parts invoices over the years, as well as a 2016 certificate for rustproofing by Rustbuster. The vehicle also comes with a spare key. 1979 Citroen GS Pallas Make: CitroenModel: Gs Pallas Year: 1979Mileage: 0VIN: 70gb3554Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: FKN699VTransmission: manualThe Pallas designation represented Citroen's luxury trim level, adding more brightwork, thicker carpeting, and higher-spec upholstery to what was already one of the more intriguing small family cars available during the 1970s. The type bristled with innovation, including an idiosyncratic control layout, disc brakes all around, flat-four air-cooled engine and, naturally, Citroen's trademark hydropneumatic suspension. The paperwork folder for this 1222cc example, in white with brown interior, includes the V5 and MoTs back to 1985, when the current (second) owner acquired the car. These confirm the low mileage of just 24,330, a total helped by the car being stored since 1999. While the car is in good overall condition inside and out, this 12-year period of storage means it will require some recommissioning. A selection of spares are included in the sale, as is a set of spare keys.

1969 Austin 6 CWT Van Make: Austin Model: 6 CWT VanYear: 1969Mileage: 56880VIN: AAVC261872Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: AGK618GTransmission: manualDespite the distinctive and much-loved Minor shape, this isn't actually a Morris but an Austin. When the Austin A35 van went out of production in 1968, some light commercial versions of the Moggie were badged as Austins instead. But aside from the badging and the fitment of the marque's traditional crinkled grille, there were no differences between the Austin and Morris models, although the Austins were - and are - obviously much rarer. This 1969 6cwt example was rebuilt in 1993 by the Morris Minor Surgery in Suffolk, using a lot of new panels, at a cost of £6349. Its colour was changed from green to blue at the same time. The paperwork includes a list of what was done during the 1993 restoration, along with MoTs going back to 1993. As the mileage then was 97,844, it suggests the current recorded mileage of 56,880 is actually 156,880. The van displays some patina on and inside the cab, as well as around the roof guttering, but is otherwise a good, solid example of its type. 1995 Esarco 6x6Make: Esarco Model: 6x6Year: 1995Mileage: 0VIN: CWNR8891Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: Q614HVFTransmission: manualFrom the collection of the late Mike Crowe. 3,528cc. The Esarco was developed by Major Michael Somerton-Rayner as a private initiative in response to lessons learned by the British Army during the 1982 Falklands conflict for the need for lightweight high mobility load carriage. Initially produced as an 8x8 model using simple construction, the design utilised off the shelf Land Rover components to produce a range of high mobility vehicles. This example, a 6x6 version, was essentially a smaller and lighter derivative. Fitted with a Rover V8 engine, it does start and drive in gear but it is thought the clutch hydraulics require attention. Will require some recommissioning work before use. Registered with the DVLA in 1995 as an Agricultural Machine. Two registered owners, the last recorded since 2002. Mileage recorded at 51,918.

1965 MG Midget MKIIMake: MG Model: Midget Year: 1965Mileage: 103065VIN: GAN334097Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: DPM147CTransmission: manual1,275cc. Finished in Tartan red with red interior. The vendor, who has owned this Midget for twenty-eight years, advises that it was dry stored in a brick garage at the turn of the Millenium where it has remained ever since. Despite this, it still seems pretty sound and looks very tidy but is currently not running and will require some recommissioning. The vendor has mislaid the immobiliser fob, so some electrical work may also be required. Although it is a MK II model, it has previously been fitted with a MK III engine and was restored around 1990. Five owners from new, the vendor since 1993. It comes complete with many MoTs up to 1999 when last issued, all receipts dating from the vendor's ownership and restoration photos. The mileage is recorded at 103,065.

1973 VW Super Beetle Cabriolet LHDMake: Volkswagen Model: Beetle Year: 1973Mileage: 66793VIN: 1532910529Configuration: Left Hand DriveRegistration: DBY51MTransmission: manualTempting as it is to believe that Volkswagen Beetles remained the same throughout the model's very long life, VW continuously improved the cars - just not so that it was necessarily that noticeable from the outside. The 1303 Super was arguably the high point of the Type 1's development, with McPherson strut front suspension, a larger, panoramic windscreen, chunky 'elephant foot' tail-lamps and a modernised, more safety-conscious dashboard. They also sported a more powerful 1584cc engine. It is believed this left-hand drive example, manufactured in June 1973, originally went to the United States, although there's no paperwork confirming this. At that point it was black. It came to the UK in 1983. Within the few years, it has received a considerable amount of work, to transform it into the stylish blue and white convertible it is now. The smart black and white 14in alloy wheels were refurbished in 2015 at a cost of £422. During 2017 and 2018, the Beetle was extensively rebuilt at a cost of several thousands when, presumably, it was given its current metallic blue and white two-tone colour scheme. The bills from this period include a 1641cc engine upgrade (£1300), Weber dual carburettor kit (£499), gearbox rebuild, alternator upgrade, front disc brake upgrade, new steering box, fresh carpets and trim (£530) and re-upholstered seats. Still comparatively fresh from such a lot of work, the Beetle is in very good condition inside and out.

1977 Saab 96L V4Make: Saab Model: 96 LV4Year: 1977Mileage: 87681VIN: 96762006783Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: RCT114RTransmission: manualUnfortunately, there is little history with this 1977 V4-engined Saab 96L, aside from the V5 document. However, despite the racing graphics on this one - and, of course, the 96's famous rallying reputation - it doesn't appear to be a motorsport machine, as there are no competition upgrades inside or out. The odometer records 87,681 miles (unwarranted) and there have been 11 former keepers. Bodily, there are some minor bubbles apparent on the bodywork, while inside, the seats have some wear and the door and rear parcel cards appear to be DIY-made, featuring large stitched Saab aeroplane logos. Some corrosion is evident in the sills. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 3RD AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

1958 Austin Healey 100/6 BN6Make: Austin Healey Model: 100/6Year: 1958Mileage: 22440VIN: BN63093Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: DSU711Transmission: manual‘Big Healeys’ are among the most desirable of all British classic sports cars, but for the vendor of this 100/6 model, it was pretty much love at first sight.. and pretty much every day since then. When the vendor started employment, he would cycle past a BMC dealership every day, which would occasionally have an Austin-Healey its showroom. He promised himself that, one day, he’d own one himself. It just took a few years for it to happen. In the meantime, this example was prepared as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kit in September 1958 and sent to Cape Town in South Africa the following month to be fully built - although it seems it wasn’t actually put together until 1960. Registered TJ 50385, it was finished in two-tone white-over-red with blue interior

1990 Saab 900iMake: Saab Model: 900i Year: 1990Mileage: 135768VIN: YS3AB25J9L7024961Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: H39RCLTransmission: manualFinished in Ambassador blue. While it’s the turbocharged versions of the Saab 900 that steal much of the limelight, the less performance-orientated models are still very highly regarded by enthusiasts for their distinctive Swedish qualities of reliability, durability and quirkiness. This 900i - with the letter suffix denoting the fuel-injected but normally-aspirated 1985cc engine of 116bhp - was registered in September 1990, and is one of the rarer two-door saloon variants, finished in smart Ambassador Blue with grey velour interior. The car was supplied by Sabers of Norwich, with one of the dealership’s service and parts stickers still present under the bonnet as a nice period touch. Both the exterior and interior are in very good condition, with the vendor, a former Saab technician, telling us that the car has been well-cared for and is always garaged. He also reports that ‘everything appears to be in working order’. Three former keepers are shown. In summary, this is a well-preserved and usable example of one of Saab’s most enduring classics. An aftermarket service booklet shows a major service at 134,657 miles in October 2020 and an interim service at 135,701 in February 2021 by marque specialist Griffin Automotive. The current mileage is recorded as 135,768 miles, while the MoT is valid until the end of July 2022, with no advisories shown. The car comes with its current V5, Saab service programme check-sheet, MoTs dating back to 2007 (when the mileage was shown as 120,078), a couple of 1990s’ copies of Saab Driver magazine, 1988 and 1991 editions of the owner’s manual, and the spare key. Oh, and there’s the bonus of a Saab umbrella in the boot as well.

1972 Jaguar E-Type SIII 5.3 V12 Manual CoupeMake: JaguarModel: E-Type Year: 1972Mileage: 0VIN: UD1S74017BWConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: JSL722L Transmission: manual Like so many Jaguar E-types, this V12 coupe headed over the Atlantic after it was built in 1972, to be sold as a new car in the United States. And, again like so many British sports cars, it eventually returned back to the UK, coming back to these shores in April 1996. One of the previous owners records in the paperwork that 'by that time, it was right-hand drive, manual, and finished in British Racing Green with Magnolia interior', having started life as a silver automatic with black interior. However, the date of the change to RHD and manual gearbox can't be confirmed from the paperwork. In 1998, it was stripped down and bodily restored, along with an engine rebuild, at which point the speedometer was zeroed. By its MoT of September 2001, it was recorded as having covered just 137 miles. In the paperwork file is the V5 and copies of previous V5s, a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate - showing the car began life as a silver Series III automatic with black interior - and bills from the late 1990s onwards. These show the fitment of polyurethane front bushing during 2006, and another complete engine rebuild with new parts plus gearbox work in 2008 at a cost of close to £10,000 (at 6110 miles). There are also assorted pictures and MoTs dating back to 2001, along with sundry paperwork and a spare set of keys. Most useful to any new owner is a printed email from a previous owner detailing all the work done on the Jaguar from 1996 through to 2015, when the recorded mileage was 9940. The odometer currently reads 13,058. The E-type is in very good overall condition, with just some minor age-related wear to the cream leather interior, which would presumably have been re-done during the car's US days. This last and arguably the best of the 944s has been owned by the vendor since 2016. It has been used as a daily driver but change of circumstances means it is time for him to move the car on. He advises that he has spent thousands fixing gravel rash on all four wings, both front and back, to a high standard by AutoUmbau. In all, over £10,000 has been spent during his five year ownership. The car appears to have been well maintained over the years by it's various owners, supported by a comprehensive service history. This includes the original service book containing twenty-one main dealer or specialist stamps between 1991 and 2008, plus three further stamps in 2012, 2016 and 2019. Most MoTs dating from 1995 to the present, a large quantity of receipts dating between the 1990s and 2016, various documents, manual, wallet and spare key complete the file. It also received new floors, sills, bonnet hinge panel - an area that often corrodes on these cars - as well as being treated to electronic ignition and an ECAS Super coil. A new soft-top has recently been fitted. The exterior paint is now exhibiting some 'orange peel' effect across its finish. The car comes with its V5 registration document and its last four MoT certificates, albeit with its last ticket expiring in November 2015. 1993 Fiat Panda 1000 CLX IEMake: Fiat Model: Panda Year: 1993Mileage: 85000VIN: ZFA141A0008043346Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: L294MYBTransmission: manualTowards the end of the Fiat Panda's market life in the UK during the mid-1990s, efforts were made to update what had started out in 1980 as a very basic machine. More modern FIRE engines had been adopted in the mid-1980s, fuel injection arrived at the start of the 1990s, and with the introduction of the new, better-equipped CLX model, there was a five-speed gearbox as well. This 1993 model has both fuel injection and the five-speed 'box with its 999cc FIRE engine. The vendor advises us that the car has recently had new tyres, battery, exhaust, left-hand headlight and coolant expansion tank, and is MoT'd until December 2021. He also reports that a new bonnet cable is required (although the bonnet can still be opened by one person, by pulling its catch and simultaneously pulling the bonnet up on one side) and the rear wiper needs attention. Both the hatchback door and and the bonnet exhibit some crumpling and denting. The odometer records 85,846 miles although, with no paperwork beyond the V5 and current MoT certificate, this is unwarranted.

1999 Rover 200 BRMMake: Rover Model: 200 BRMYear: 1999Mileage: 30400VIN: SARRFCNLHXD435146Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: V646DJMTransmission: manualThe Rover 200 BRM was unveiled at the 1997 Frankfurt Motor Show, and went on sale from October 1998. It paid homage to Rover's links with British Racing Motors, the Formula One team of the 1950s to the 1970s, and was based on the range-topping Vi model with the 143bhp 1.8-litre VVC K-Series engine. Among the limited edition touches were red quilted leather seats and door panels, red carpet, seat belts and steering wheel, along with alloy heater controls and turned aluminium trim elsewhere. Brooklands Green paint was used for the exterior, with silver trim details, 16in alloys, and a woven mesh grille above a BRM trademark large orange snout. The price was £18,000, with only 795 built for the UK, plus an additional 350 for overseas markets. This car's first owner had it from 1999 to 2000, with its second custodian holding onto it from 2000 through to early 2021. The vendor acquired it at the start of 2021, and reports that in excess of £1600 was spent in April, replacing the head gasket (with a multi-layer item), timing belt and water pump, with fresh brake pads and calipers also fitted all around. The paperwork includes the current V5 (and a copy of an old one), invoice for the work carried out in April, and a current MoT certificate valid to April 2022. There's also a spare set of keys with remote control, and the locking wheelnut key. The indicated odometer reading is 30,400 miles, which appears to be backed up by the available online MoT history - in 2006, the mileage was 16,952.

1947 Jowett Bradford Pick-Up Model CA Make: JowettModel: BradfordYear: 1947Mileage: 61892VIN: D7CA3708Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: NXS266Transmission: manualThis diminutive but very able Jowett Bradford started its working life with Derby Corporation's cleansing and transport department in 1947, when it was registered RC 9710 - a number kept by the previous owner for sentimental reasons. Fast forward some years, and the 946cc twin-cylinder sidevalve-engined vehicle was rebuilt in 1992, receiving attention to the chassis, body and engine at the cost of a not unsubstantial (then) £880.24. In 2004, it went into storage in a shed, emerging only recently. The Jowett is still well-preserved, considering it was restored 30 years ago, although there's some lifting of paint noticeable on the cab body, along with other age marks. Its original brass identification plaque is still in place, showing engine and body numbers. A further brass plaque records an engine overhaul from a garage in Norwich. The odometer reads 61,892 miles, but this is unwarranted. Please note that the current registration number, NXS 266, was put on in 2020 and is non-transferrable. The vehicle will be sold with assorted spares and a history folder that includes the old RF60 logbook, new V5, data sheets, MoTs from 1992, 1995, 1999 and 2002, plus old books and magazines stretching to the 1940s, such as a Pitman's Motorists' Library handbook and three-shilling list of spare parts, dating from 1949. There's also a packed file of Jowett Car Club literature, plus photos of the pick-up both pre- and post-restoration. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 29TH JULY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

To replace the VW unit, a detuned unit of the 944's 2.5-litre straight-four engine was utilised instead, along with an upgraded suspension and 944 style brakes. This metallic grey 1986 example, with half-leather black interior, has had 10 former owners from new, with a history folder that includes the V5C as well as MoTs going back to 2003, the original owner's handbook, a Haynes workshop manual and old tax discs. The current MoT is valid until November 2021. Although the odometer reading is 60,490 miles, the vendor reports that there was a documented speedo change in 2003, so the actual total is 105,000 miles. He also tells us that the cambelt was recently replaced. Overall condition is good throughout, although the exterior paintwork does display some scratches. 1947 Triumph 1800 Roadster Make: Triumph Model: 1800 Roadster Year: 1947Mileage: 78375VIN: TRD704Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: YAS611Transmission: manualForever associated with Jim Bergerac's crime-busting antics in the hit BBC TV series of the 1980s and early 1990s, one of the Triumph Roadster's other claims to fame is that it was the last British car to feature a dickey seat. This 1947 example has been converted from column change to floor change (to a very professional standard), although the original bits will be sold with the car. The vendor reports that the car was restored from 2001 to 2003 - including having all its woodwork renewed - and was then used for shows and pleasure trips, including a a few visits to Jersey and, on one memorable occasion, ferrying John Nettles - Jim Bergerac himself - around when he opened the BBC Radio Norfolk show. The history file includes pictures of the restoration, MoTs dating back to 2006, and a wide assortment of 21st century bills, including one for a stainless steel exhaust in 2008. There's also the instruction book, Triumph Roadster Club restoration guide and technical handbook, plus a plaque from when the car won an award at the Hatton Country Show Rally in June 2007. The odometer records the mileage as 78,375. Although the restoration was getting on for 20 years ago now, the car's condition is holding up well, with the exterior and interior in very good order. The chrome is free from any significant blemishes, and the leather, wood and carpeting inside show very few signs of age or wear. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 20TH JULY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

1994 Audi Coupe 2.6E Make: Audi Model: CoupeYear: 1994Mileage: 168000VIN: WAUZZZ8BZRA004132Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: L572KRPTransmission: manualPurchased in December 2013, the vendor used this Audi as a daily driver while working in Germany. The car proved to be 100% reliable and covered over 10,000 miles before returning to the UK when it was used for holidays and weekends away. A low oil pressure issue just before lockdown, caused the car to require inspection and eventually a replacement engine had to be fitted. While the engine was being replaced, the engine bay was resprayed and cleaned, new shock absorbers were fitted and the brakes overhauled. New radiator, water pump, thermostat and hydraulic tappets were fitted as well as the cambelt and all other service items. The car was subject to a respray although the roof needs to be completed and the paint for this comes with the car, new lower trims were also fitted. Having just completed a 1,200 mile round trip to Wales, it is described as driving very well, making a good GT car for touring. This coupe which was originally an Audi HQ car and is well known within the owners club. When it became clear that there still was a future for al fresco motoring in the marque's biggest marketplace, Jaguar introduced the XJ-SC during 1983. This wasn't a full convertible, but rather a Targa-roofed variant with a removable soft-top at the rear. It lasted until 1988 when it was replaced by a full convertible model. Thus, the XJ-SC is quite a rare XJ-S variant now. This Claret six-cylinder example, with 3590cc AJ6 engine and manual gearbox, has had nine previous keepers, and is MoT'd until July 2022. The V5 is present in the history file, which also comes with a large stack of service and maintenance bills stretching back to the late 1980s, MoTs dating back to 1988 - thus confirming the recorded mileage of 96,844 - and a 2006 copy of Jaguar Enthusiast magazine. The original Jaguar document folder is also included, containing the electrical data chart, list of dealerships, Jaguar guarantee, owner's handbooks, service booklet stamped up to 86,492 miles in 2002 and even a customer care questionnaire for the supplying Julians of Reading dealership. There are spare keys as well. Overall condition of this XJ-SC is very good, albeit with a few marks on the nearside rear wheel arch. Both the cabin wood and beige leather are holding up well, and the hood is in good order. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 20TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

One owner even went so far to keep a pocket book of its adventures, starting in 2004 at 25,502 miles, and continuing through to 2010 and 43,949 miles. This included all stops for petrol and any maintenance carried out, with an overall 29mpg being noted, The vendor comments that the car has 'nice, straight bodywork' and is also 'excellent underneath'. The history folder includes 16 MoTs dating back to 2004, with the latest expiring in June 2022. There's also an extensive collection of tax discs and a write-up of the car's life; it was originally supplied new to a director of a stainless steel company in the West Midlands, who kept it until 1990, covering just 20,000 miles. But, when he retired, he took the car with him and kept it until 2004, albeit only taking the mileage up to 25,000. It then went to the owner who kept such a detailed notebook of its travels. Over the 10 years of his custodianship, he only added an additional 20,000 miles. Both owners reputedly kept the car in spacious, heated garages and regularly cleaned and polished it. There was also conscientious servicing as and when the car needed it. It was purchased by its last registered owner in 2017 from an independent classic Mercedes specialist. All invoices from 2004 onwards are present and correct. Recent bills are for new tyres in 2016 and 2018, and an exhaust centre section in 2018. 1954 Volvo Sugga LHD (Ex-John Coghlan of Status Quo)Make: VolvoModel: SuggaYear: 1954Mileage: 0VIN: 216Configuration: Left Hand DriveRegistration: 638UYMTransmission: manualFrom the collection of the late Mike Crowe. In Swedish, 'Sugga' means 'Sow' - not, perhaps, the most complimentary of nicknames, but the Volvo PV800 Sugga was never intended to be a glamorous model, being aimed at the both the taxi market and, in four-wheel drive form, the military. It served with both the Swedish and Belgian armed forces from World War Two onwards. This 1954 example went into service as a TP21 Radio Command Car, fitted with a six-cylinder 3.7-litre sidevalve petrol engine. It was imported into the UK during 1979 and has since had four registered keepers. The vendor believes that one of them was John Coghlan, the original drummer from Status Quo, who is well-known for his love of 4x4 and military machines. Although there's nothing in the paperwork to confirm this, there are images on the internet of him with this vehicle when it was registered ELT 853T, after coming to the Isle of Man at the end of the 1970s. It now wears a more age-related numberplate. The paperwork file includes a V5, photocopied handbook, some MoTs dating back to 2004, a couple of small bills, and a 2015 copy of Windscreen: The Magazine of the Military Vehicle Trust, plus a page from a French magazine also discussing the type. Its most recent appearances were during 2020, when it was the subject of a multi-part engine rebuild feature chronicled in Practical Performance Car magazine, upping capacity (and power, naturally) to 3.1 litres from the standard 2.4 litres. The process, documented from the March 2020 issue onwards, included a long stroke Nissan diesel crankshaft (83mm as opposed to 73.7mm), longer rods, and block bored out to accept 89mm pistons, raising the cubic capacity to 3098cc. There's a five-speed gearbox, while handling has been enhanced with the fitment of Gaz coilovers. Although the car was restored quite a while ago in 1990, at a cost of £2700, its condition is still extremely good, both inside and out. That it has been extremely well-looked after since then is confirmed by the large history folder that includes many MoTs from 1988 onwards, invoices dating back to the same period, and photocopies of past 'logbook' documents. The current mileage is recorded as 22,309, but this is unwarranted. However, as the mileage at its 1996 MoT was just 20,531, it's clear that this car has been lightly used over the last quarter of a century.
