1957 Wolseley 1500Make: Wolseley Model: 1500Year: 1957Mileage: 28625VIN: WA1L8316Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: XVO814Transmission: manualThis very bright Wolseley 1500, registered in December 1957, has had four former registered keepers from new. The mileage currently indicated by the odometer is 28,625, although this can't be warranted as there is little paperwork accompanying the car beyond a V5C. There's no MoT although, as an historic vehicle, the Wolseley no longer requires testing. While the condition of the paintwork suggests the car has been repainted at some point in its life, if not fully restored, the interior looks to be original. 1974 Land Rover 88 Series III"Make: Land Rover Model: 88"Year: 1974Mileage: 14316VIN: 92100591AConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: YNK935MTransmission: manualThis 2286cc petrol Land Rover 88" Series III County seven-seater was registered in July 1974 and has had just one previous keeper registered from new. Its MoT is valid until November 2022 and 14,316 miles are showing on the odometer. The Series III is in presents extremely well throughout, especially for a Land Rover, as these often wear the scars of any off-road use. The paperwork file includes the V5C, current MoT certificate, Pioneer cassette player manual and owner's handbook. There's also an inspection report from independent Land Rover specialist Heritage 4x4 of Manea, Cambridgeshire. This confirms that the Land Rover has been with the same family now for 48 years and all numbers - engine, gearbox/transfer box, front and rear differentials - match. The Series III has received some drivability, maintenance and safety improvements such as structural modifications to the steering and column; a hydraulic cylinder and power steering have been fitted using parts from a Range Rover Classic. The front crossmember has been replaced by one from a Defender. The fuel tank and radiator have been replaced and the vehicle is fitted with a Fairey overdrive system and power braking, and is currently on parabolic springs. It has apparently been garaged at the family home throughout its life. Heritage 4x4's opinion is that the Series III 'does not require any other work and can be driven from the get-go'.

There is a book pack present but sadly the service history book is missing. Mercedes- Benz UK has been contacted to try and trace the original history but the current system does not cover that far back so the search came to a halt. It was factory-built by Tiger Racing near Peterborough, who first registered it for a SVA/IVA in May 2011. It was bought as new by the current owner less than a week later. Circuit Motor Bodies then fabricated additional aluminium work (nose cone and front wheel guards). The basis for the car is a 1967 Triumph Spitfire, with its engine and base parts all forming part of the Tiger. Its registration number, NEG 262E, was changed to 100 UXA in April 2016 to complement its 1950s' appearance. The vendor believes that this could well be the best example of its marque and, with its additional rear-mounted oak case rack, it would 'make a great weekend trip/show car'. It was driven to the Classic Le Mans event in France in 2014.

A new hood and exhaust are recent fitments; the car is also fitted with a later bonnet and rear lights as the originals are almost impossible to source. The vendor tells us that the car is mechanically sound and drives very well. Its odometer shows 7224km. As far as is known, the 1438cc engine is the original, although it has been fitted with a 1608cc head, presumably to improve performance. The gearbox has been replaced by a later type, at some point during the car's life. The Spider is a rare European spec first series car, not a US import, fitted with excellent order Cromodora alloy wheels shod with period-correct Michelin tyres. The vendor bought the car at auction two years ago and has maintained and improved it during his ownership. He feels he now needs someone to use it more than he does. The car comes with its V5C, a photocopy of the owner's manual (albeit in Italian), parts catalogues, letter from Fiat confirming build date, and various photos of the car. There are MoT certificates from 2017 and 2018; there is no current MoT as the Fiat is now an historic vehicle and thus no longer requires annual testing. Its last ticket expired in June 2019. Most of these bills are in the paperwork folder, as is a Morgan chassis record (showing the car was originally Light Grey with red leather upholstery). The mileage shown on the odometer is 16,963 miles. The history file also includes the V5C, photos of the car during its restoration, and recent MoT certificates - although, as a 1961 car, the Morgan is now MoT-exempt, with its last one expiring in October 2018. There's also books on 'Morgan: The Cars and the Factory' by John Tipler, 'Original Morgan 4/4, Plus 4 and Plus 8' by John Worrall and Liz Turner and 'Morgan Cars 1960-1970' by Vic Berris plus a Brooklands' Morgan Four Owners' Workshop Manual and Buying Portfolio and a 1964 'Small Car' magazine and 2017 'Classic Motoring' magazine featuring Morgan articles. Thanks to its recent restoration, the Morgan is in very good condition throughout. 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa Convertible LHD Make: Chevrolet Model: Corvair Corsa Convertible Year: 1965Mileage: 60331VIN: 107675W294647Configuration: Left Hand DriveRegistration: FNB240CTransmission: manualThe Corvair - one of Chevrolet's attempts to battle the wave of European small car imports reaching the USA during the 1960s - remains the only American-designed, mass-produced car with a rear-mounted, air-cooled engine; an accolade that is probably unlikely to be taken away now. This 1965 example, which was brought to the UK and registered here in April 2019, is a top-of-the-range Corsa model with 2.7-litre flat-six engine with four-barrel carburettor. It's a matching numbers cars that the vendor tells us has been little used since its import, registration and MoT in 2019. When not being driven, it has been dry-stored. "All is working fine," according to the vendor, and this includes the hood motor. The odometer shows 60,331 miles - albeit unwarranted - and the last MoT expired in March 2020 - although as an historic vehicle, one is no longer needed.

1972 Morris Minor Van Make: Morris Model: Minor Van Year: 1972Mileage: 83203VIN: MAE5307529Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: TER604KTransmission: manualAlthough this Morris Minor LCV (van) now wears Automobile Association yellow livery, it's believed that it was originally a PO Telephones van based in Cambridge, and was restored as an AA van from 2008 to 2009. Its colour change, from black to yellow, was notified to the DVLA in February 2009. The Minor was registered in February 1972 and now shows 83,203 miles on its odometer, although as there is no paperwork beyond the V5C, this cannot be warranted. Its last MoT expired in June 2012; as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires testing. Having been restored around 13 years ago, the van now shows some signs of age - such as the occasional bubble under the paint - but overall presents very well, inside and out. It even features a vintage Falcon of Japan radio communications set plus a roof-mouted AA Service light and flashing beacon. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 4TH MAY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

The odometer indicates circa 31,000 miles covered, with just one previous registered keeper from new. The vehicle is finished in Fuji White with Black Modus interior. Its spec includes electric windows, air conditioning, Safety Devices roll cage, Bowler fender flares, 10in Beadlock look wheels with 35in tyres, NAS rear step, HD rear tyre carrier and KBX grille and light surrounds. Having been used in Cypus in recent years, not much mileage has been covered, according to the vendor. The Defender received a service in April 2022 at the same time as it was MoT'd, but there is no paperwork regarding this. The only documentation with the Land Rover is the V5C. 2004 VW Type 2 T2c Danbury CaravanetteMake: Volkswagen Model: Type 2 T2c Danbury CaravanetteYear: 2004Mileage: 108180VIN: PBWGB07X64P000938Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: WX54MFFTransmission: manualAlthough the 'Bay Window' Volkswagen Type 2 Transporter went out of production in Europe in 1979, in Latin America, where VW had an especially strong presence, manufacture of the T2 carried on. Brazilian manufacture only ceased in 2013, by which point the roof had been raised by 10 inches to create the T2c variant and the venerable old air-cooled engine at the rear had been swapped for a water-cooled unit. This example is one of the last with air-cooled power, in this case a 1.6-litre unit. It was constructed in Brazil during 2004 before coming over to the UK where Beetles (UK) Limited converted it into a Danbury camper, with two-tone white over pale green paint, non-standard cloth, bench seat that converts into a rock 'n' roll bed, two-burner stove with sink, immobiliser, underseal, auxiliary battery, elevating roof and vent, CD radio and four speakers, winter pack (including petrol heater), front-mounted solid spare wheel cover, chrome trim pack, bike rack, awning, roof rack and mains hook-up. Further modifications throughout the years included Suede Green leather and tartan upholstery, full leather door cards, Porsche-style Fuchs alloy wheels, walnut and tulip wood floor and table, new cooker and sink unit, and a flat-screen Alpine media system. A £2750 bill in the paperwork indicates a reconditioned 1.6-litre Brazilian exchange engine was fitted in October 2016, while it seems a full restoration has also been carried out relatively recently, judging by the van's body condition. The odometer currently shows 108,206km (67,236 miles) and five previous owners are noted on the V5C. There's a fresh MoT valid until May 2023. The engine starts easily and runs well. The history folder includes the V5C, owner's manual, service book (stamped up to 108,174km in December 2021), Alpine Media Station manuals in both paper and CD form, and a Volkswagen Transporter Haynes Enthusiast Guide book by Jonathan Harvey. There's some maintenance invoices, including the bill for the reconditioned engine. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 30TH MAY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

Since then, it has had one previous registered keeper from new. The odometer is now showing 77,175 miles, although this isn't warranted. There is no current MoT - as an historic vehicle, one isn't required - but its last one expired in May 2016. The car comes with its V5C, MoT certificate from 2015 , and shipping documentation. It has been conscientiously looked after throughout its life - for example, all four tyres are matching high quality Vredestein Ultrac Vorti items - with £4000 spent during 2021 alone. This included rectifying all MoT advisories and upgrading all the brake lines. The car includes the HK hi-fi audio option and bi-xenon headlights, among other extras.

1998 Rover 820 Vitesse CoupeMake: RoverModel: 820 Vitesse Year: 1998Mileage: 102351VIN: SARRSCCVGWM248359Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: R979FWSTransmission: manualThis Cayman Blue Rover 820 Vitesse Coupe, with grey leather interior and black piping, was registered in January 1998 and sold via Hartwells of Bristol. It features the 200bhp 1998cc engine as also used in the Rover Tomcat coupe, matched to a five-speed manual gearbox and Torsen limited slip differential. Being a higher spec executive Rover, the car features a high standard of equipment such as twin electric seats, sunroof and CD changer (all of which are working). The 820 is considered the most desirable of the coupe range, being the only manual transmission model. The current owner purchased the car in October 2013 and carried out extensive work to get the car into the excellent condition it is in today. It was given two new (factory) wings and a replacement door. A replacement sill was specially fabricated. After that, the car was resprayed after being stripped and corrosion-treated.

1996 Ford Mondeo Verona One owner. 23,584 miles from newMake: FordModel: Mondeo VeronaYear: 1996Mileage: 23584VIN: WF0AXXGBBATK18785Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: P578BPBTransmission: ManualThe Verona was a mid-spec Mondeo semi-permanent special edition that was effectively a 1.8 LX with air conditioning and some other bonus features, aimed squarely at private buyers. The vendor describes this example, registered in October 1996, as being in 'timewarp condition' with just one owner from new and 23,584 warranted miles - plus it's in the distinctive and attractive colour of Mistral Blue too. The good history file contains 17 old MoTs (with the current certificate expiring in March 2023), along with an assortment of tax discs, a small selection of bills, and the original sales invoice from Henleys Ford of Farnborough (for £12,793.93) along with some other new car literature. There's also the original red master key as well as a spare set of keys. The original book pack is present with items such as the owner's handbook, audio systems operating guide and service book. While this is only stamped up to the first 1500-mile service in 1997, the owner subsequently kept a notebook record of all work carried out from September 1997 (at 2430 miles) through to March 2017 (at 23,577 miles) after which, it seems, the car was taken off the road before being relicensed this year. Thanks to this notebook, plus the MoT history, it's possible to verify the low mileage as genuine. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 30TH MAY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

1962 Ford Consul 315 Classic 2 doorMake: Ford Model: Consul Classic Year: 1962Mileage: 23370VIN: Z34B067175Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: 315XURTransmission: manualThe Consul Classic was an attempt by Ford to capitalise on the success and distinctive appearance of the Ford Anglia 105E with a larger car. However, the very American-looking machines were overshadowed by the launch of the more nimble and lightweight Cortina in 1962 and ultimately had quite a short production life for a Ford, lasting only from 1961 to 1963. This makes them quite rare among British Blue Ovals today. This example was restored 'a few years ago', after having changed colour from red to the blue shade it is today in 2008. The interior was retrimmed in two-tone blue during 2017 including the headlining. The vendor tells us that the car 'drives really very well'. The '315 XUR' numberplate is a nice reference to the '315' designation that Ford gave the Consul Classic when a current model, and is a non-transferable plate.

A genuine factory convertible from new, this Herald has been described by the vendor as driving very well. It registers nine owners from new and comes with a service history covering from 1988 to the present with some MoTs, receipts and maintenance logs. The car was last MoT'd in 2019 at 89,486 miles and with the other documents retained, it would appear as though it has covered around 5,000 miles in thirty years. Nine owners from new. The mileage is recorded at 89,502. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 25TH MAY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

1997 Renault Sport SpiderMake: Renault Model: Sport Spider Year: 1997Mileage: 14351VIN: VMKAF0H0516553745Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: R976GMVTransmission: manualWhen Renault wanted to give itself a somewhat racier image during the 1990s, the result was the Renault Sport Spider, of 1996 to 1999. Approximately 1800 cars were produced during that period, with only 100 of those in right-hand drive format and, of those, 92 being were imported into the UK - thus making this blue-over-silver 148bhp 2-litre roadster a rare beast over here. This 1997 example was registered in August of that year and is MoT'd until March 2023. 14,351 miles are indicated on the odometer, and while this isn't warranted, the online MoT history does tend to back it up - back in July 2005, when the record starts, the mileage was recorded as 9428 miles.

1966 Jaguar S-Type 3.8 M/ODMake: JaguarModel: S-Type Year: 1966Mileage: 76151VIN: PB57667DNConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: DCL860DTransmission: manualThis maroon Jaguar S-Tyoe is in the model's most desirable form of being a 3.8-litre with manual overdrive transmission. It was registered in June 1966 and has a current MoT through to August 2022 (even though, as an historic vehicle, it does not require one). The mileage indicated by an odometer is 76,151 miles, and the car has been family-owned since it was one year old - thus, only one previous registered keeper is shown on the V5C. The car was bought by a friend of the original purchaser in June 1967 and named Min after the character from The Goon Show. It has always been garaged and was kept in roadworthy condition. Around 2009 though, it was taken off the road and restoration undertaken. The history folder is an extensive one with the V5C (plus a past one), a garage service manual, owner's handbook, maintenance and lubrication wallchart, 1965 Jaguar sales and service facilities booklet, maintenance voucher, and Mann Egerton and subsidiaries locations and facilities. There are also tax discs from 1985 to 1987, 1994, 1998 and 2012 to 2013, plus MoT certificates from 1975, 1980 to 1984, 1992 to 1993, 1996, 2011 to 2020, and 2022. There's also a certificate from the Norwich Classic Vehicle Club, various invoices from work carried out over the years, photographs and the original set of keys and valve caps. The car also comes with its hard-top plus the rare option of heated seats. Included in the paperwork folder are the present and past V5Cs, MoT certificates from 2014, 2019 and 2022 and print-out of online MoT history back to 2006, and a single invoice from 2015 for servicing, ECU work, a new throttle unit and a service, amounting to £1408.15. The vehicle, originally white, has been resprayed in Rolls-Royce Brewster Green and also received an LED light upgrade. In recent times the vehicle has received little use, according to the vendor. The MoT history shows that, over the last 10 years, just over 2500 miles have been covered. The odometer reading shows 184,258 miles and the current MoT is valid until April 2023. There's an extensive history folder including the the V5C, previous MoTs, service records and parts bills. In the file are old tax discs, MoT certificates back to 1997 (when the mileage was 88,924 miles) and invoices back to 2000 testifying to lots of care and attention over the last 20 or so years, with considerable expenditure seen plus evidence of regular servicing. This example, registered in September 1999 is a rare survivor, with many of these older Nissan pick-ups having long since disappeared thanks to hard use. With just one owner from new, this 4x2 2.5-litre diesel-engined D22 presents very well, with only a few signs of wear and tear. It has an MoT until April 2023 and an indicated 66,782 miles on its odometer. This is backed up by the service book, which has 18 entries, although most are hand-written rather than stamped. The last service shown was in December 2017 at 63,100 miles. We believe the engine is a 327cu in unit, although the V5C does record the engine displacement as 3270cc, which we believe is an error. The spec for the van includes a Chevy C10 front clip, T400 automatic gearbox, Chevy Nova rear axle, front disc brakes, front coil suspension, power brakes, power steering, tilt steering column and alloy radiator. The engine runs sweetly, according to the vendor, and there are no gearbox issues. There are also no overheating problems, notes the vendor. Jobs still to be done include the front shock absorbers, wiper motor, tracking adjustment, cab to chassis blocks/bolts, fuel and temperature gauges, speedometer, steering adjustment, and wiring tidying around places such as the indicators. The history folder for the car contains just the current V5C as well as a previous version of the document. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 6TH JUNE BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
