Hence why this 1949 Douglas Sport was first registered on the 6th March 1967 in the current log book. The owner then stripped the bike, restored it and later obtained a proper age-related plate that is on the bike today. All this is documented in his restoration diary included in the documents pack.The present owner says the Douglas started, ran and rode very well when last used which was about 18 months ago.
