1975 MG Midget 1500Make: MG Model: Midget Year: 1975Mileage: 2010VIN: GAN6164205GConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: KRY514PTransmission: manualThis well maintained Midget has been subject to recent works including a complete set of new coolant hoses and clips from MGOC, ignition system, choke cable, oil change and filters. In addition, it benefits from a new battery, refurbishment of the Rostyle wheels, recent set of tyres and new seat covers. It has been been owned by the vendor, himself an engineer, for the last two years. While the vendor has described the Midget as driving beautifully, we did have some difficulty selecting gears during our test drive for our photos. It was subject to a colour change from green in 2000. Comes with a large quantity of receipts for parts, servicing and works from 2000 to 2017, some MoTs dating from 1993 to 2020 when last issued, copy older V5 and 2020 bill of sale from classic car specialists. 1965 Rover P6 2000Make: Rover Model: P6 2000Year: 1965Mileage: 71879VIN: 40016907BConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: DTP280CTransmission: manualThis is an earlier Rover P6, having been registered June 1965, when the only engine option was the 2-litre unit, in this case with a manual gearbox. These earlier cars are known by some enthusiasts as 'Sharkstooths' due to their front valance design. The previous owner had the car for over 30 years and it was restored by him several years ago. The odometer currently shows 71,879 miles, with the car reported as being in good mechanical condition; the vendor tells us that the engine runs well and does not burn or leak oil, or overheat, with recent runs out in the car being 'free of any dramas, breakdowns or unexpected mechanical issues'. The P6 was driven 60 miles to the auction with no issues. The white bodywork is in very good condition and has an original red leather flatpleat interior, which is described as 'very good' - with the door seals, door cards, carpet and rubber mats all in fine order. Just before the vendor bought the car (earlier this year) the previous owner overhauled the rear brakes and fitted new pads - good news for any prospective owner, as these are inboard items, so trickier to work on than the more conventional front brakes. As an historic vehicle, the Rover is now MoT-exempt; its last certificate expired in January 2021 however. The online MoT history shows no serious issues back to 2006, which is when the online history ends. The vendor has only owned the car for a short while, and is now selling because his wife would prefer a more modern classic. The V5C shows four previous registered keepers, and there are copies of previous V5Cs, as well as MoT certificates back to 2001. There's also a handful of recent bills from 2022 for a Dunlop rear brake caliper seal kit, the brake pad set along with two owner's manuals, three workshop manuals and a period brochure. As an SX, the car is one of the mid-level spec models, and is fitted with the 60bhp 1242cc petrol engine. The car presents well, inside and out, with a very tidy cabin, although the rear wiper seems to be inoperative. It also drives well. The paperwork file includes the V5C and the original Fiat document wallet with owner's handbook, radio manual and dealership/service directory. There are also MoT certificates dating from 2019, 2020 and 2022 (with the present one expiring in February 2023) plus a set of spare keys. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

1989 Skoda 136 Rapid 3.5 V8Make: Skoda Model: 136 RapidYear: 1989Mileage: 0VIN: TMB13600GK5141882Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: G878OKJTransmission: manualKnown as 'Bray's Beast', this Skoda 136 Rapid has quite a secret. Instead of the standard 1289cc engine, it has a 3.5-litre Rover V8 engine coupled to Renault 25 transmission. The car is fully road-legal and has been used in motorsport events such as the Exeter Classic Car Trials, Land's End Trial etc. It's currently running on 15-inch diameter wheels for trialling, but can also run on 13-inch wheels for hill climbs, sprints and other events. The Skoda was converted by the vendor, who had been running a 1300cc Skoda Estelle in Class 4 trials. However, as certain members of his club weren't that happy with it always winning, he then built this Rapid V8 instead to run in Class 7 trials. Among the exterior modifications were a full-length underbody guard and two spare wheels mounted on a removable rear carrier to provide extra weight for traction.

The GSXR was registered in March 2004 and has two previous former keepers registered. 11,020 miles are showing on the odometer and the MoT is valid until September 2022. The paperwork folder includes all its original Suzuki service books, manuals and PDI document, all MoT certificates back to 2007, service book (stamped up to 10,823 miles in July 2019), a stack of invoices for new parts and service work carried out back to 2004, and manuals/software for the Nitron shock and Dynojet Power Commander. Also in the file are some old tax discs. There's a spare key with the bike too.
1937 Austin 10 Cambridge Make: Austin Model: 10 Cambridge Year: 1937Mileage: 22162VIN: GRL126067Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: RSL120Transmission: manualThe vendor acquired this 1937 Austin 10 Cambridge saloon in 2012 to use at his wedding during that year, but admits he has done little with it since then. Not much history is known about the car, but it is understood to have belonged to an Austin 10 Drivers' Club member in the past and was possibly restored by him at some point. The Austin now requires refurbishment to return to road use. It starts, runs and drives but the battery isn't charging as it needs the correct control box. All the tyres are now perished. An electric fuel pump is fitted, but the original is still present. Although the car was manufactured in 1937, it has a registration date of December 1978, as it is believed that the car was either returned to the road or re-registered on that date. The numberplate is believed to be non-original and is also non-transferable. The odometer shows 22,162 miles. Included in the history file are the V5C, some old tax discs, and some Austin 10 Drivers' Club booklets from 1993 and 2009.
1958 MG Magnette ZB Make: MGModel: Magnette ZBYear: 1958Mileage: 99756VIN: KATU1334407Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: 522XVCTransmission: ManualThe vendor purchased this 1958 MG Magnette ZB at the start of 2020, becoming only its fifth owner according to the V5C. He tells us that the car requires some recommissioning; a dynamo is needed, although the engine does start with jump cables, and the car drives. The bodywork and upholstery will also need attention. The 1489cc MG was registered in October 1958 and is showing 99,756 miles on its odometer. Its last MoT expired in July 2019, but as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires annual testing. The history folder includes the current V5C plus some older ones and the original buff logbook. There's also the owner's manual, and a complete set of MoT certificates from 1970 to 2005, then 2007 to 2009 and finally the 2018 test certificate. In addition, there's a copy of the MG Owners' Club magazine from 2004 with a brief article on the car. A set of spare keys comes with the vehicle. The MG has lost its original '5010 E' registration, with its current number, '522 XVC' being non-transferrable.

It has been in a bodyshop for several years for attention to its body, but the work wasn't started. The engine also needs a starter motor. However, the car is reported to be mobile and comes with two sets of keys. The car was registered in October 1972 and shows 90,220 miles on its odometer. Its last MoT expired in July 2018. The history folder includes the V5C, MoT certificates from 2016 and 2017, and a small selection of invoices from 2016.

Four previous registered keepers are shown on the V5C, and the last MoT expired in November 2020. The paperwork includes the V5C, a couple of old invoices from when the car was previously sold as a secondhand vehicle and the most recent MoT from 2019. There's also a spare set of keys.
1946 Riley RMA 1.5Make: Riley Model: RMAYear: 1946Mileage: 70325VIN: Contact AuctioneerConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: EWS838Transmission: ManualHaving been off the road for many (but unknown) years, the 1946 Riley RMA has fallen off the DVLA's database, and the VIN number is not clear. 1973 Alfa Romeo 2000 GT Veloce RHD Make: Alfa Romeo Model: 2000 GT Veloce Year: 1973Mileage: 801VIN: AR2412735Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: Q222JBWTransmission: manualThe Alfa Romeo 2000 GT Veloce coupe used a shortened Giulia (105) saloon platform with a handsome Giorgetto Giugiaro-designed body. The 130bhp twin-cam, all-aluminium engine in a lightweight shell gave very good performance for the era. This example, registered in July 1973, has been stored for over 15 years and came to the vendor without documents. He has since researched the car and sourced more up-to-date documentation; in addition, an old owner has forwarded some old paperwork as well. While the car has recently been running, it requires full restoration. The mileage indicated on the odometer is 801 miles. Although the car currently has a Q-plate, the evidence that has been gathered may mean that another approach to the DVLA would result in the issue of an age-related plate. The paperwork includes a present and past V5C, a certificate from the Alfa Romeo Museo Historica confirming the build date, chassis number and UK destination of the car in July 1973, and a letter of clarification from the UK Alfa Romeo Owners' Club liaison officer. In addition, there's also an MoT certificate from 1984, letters from the DVLA regarding the car, and HMRC NOVA clearance.

Because it had fallen off the DVLA's system, it had to be re-registered in September 2008, albeit with the same registration it had always had. The Austin is being sold as a restoration project; it doesn't currently run and requires a full rebuild. 42,976 miles are showing on the odometer. The paperwork folder includes the V5C, Austin warranty document, a trio of very delicate invoices dating from the 1940s and some documentation relating to the dating of the car such as an inspection report and letter from the Vintage Austin Register as well as a photocopy of a 1956 tax disc.

The car was registered in February 1976, making it quite an early example as the Chevette had only been on sale in the UK from May 1975. In recent years, we're told that the the car was used for classic car runs and shows. The car's last MoT expired in October 2018; it has only done just over 200 miles since it was tested in 2017, with the odometer now reading 24,616 miles. As an historic vehicle, it now no longer requires annual testing, but the bodywork and upholstery do need attention and while the engine runs, there's no clutch or gears attainable. The paperwork file includes the present and past V5Cs, original book pack with owner's handbook, dealer guide and accessories booklets, older invoices from 1976 onwards (including the original bill of sale, for £1700), some more recent bills including one for electrical work and an oil change in June 2019. 1972 Fiat 500L Make: Fiat Model: 500LYear: 1972Mileage: 48118VIN: 3095368Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: DBP500LTransmission: manualThe vendor inherited this little Fiat from his late mother in 2006; she'd owned it from new, with the car being registered here in April of 1973. While it has been garaged throughout its life, there is damage to the roof and side from when it was overturned by vandals. The '500L' numberplate has been on the car from new and will be coming with the car. The odometer shows 48,118 miles, although this isn't warranted. The Fiat's last MoT expired in September 2011; when tested for that, the mileage was 47,760. The car is currently SORN and not running. It was originally used by the Huntingdon and Cambridge Ambulance Service before being sold and used by the eccentric artist and performer Bruce Lacey, who used it for several years before it came off the road. It has now been off the road for many years, so requires recommissioning or restoration. The vendor reports that both the chassis and fibreglass body are solid, and believes that most of the work would be in recommissioning the 2520cc engine, drivetrain and wiring for future use. It even has the original stretchers onboard. The only documentation with the ambulance is the V5C, showing the ambulance was registered in December 1972 and has had just two registered former keepers. The mileage indicated on the odometer is 88,596 miles.

This example uses a 2.0-litre engine from a 1985 Sierra, but was put together in 1998 and registered in June of that year. The vendor tells us that it has only travelled 3000 miles since being built (with the odometer showing 2898 miles), and has had just two owners in total; the builder and the vendor.
