A late Victorian mahogany desk chair with moulded seat and leather upholstered back. 57 cm wide x 96 cm high overall. 45 cm high to the seat Private collection.Condition report: Old repairs to the leg and replaced castor wheels. The screw repairs seem to be in an effort to stop the back legs splitting at the ends? The stretcher is loose at its socket joints from glue failure.I can see a gap a the junction of the back legs and the rear seat rail, I have tried to apply pressure across the frame to see if it is loose but it seems firm despite the gaps mentioned, possibly metal braced from beneath the plywood bottom board?See the images taken for clarification
