JAMES HENRY SELLERS (1861-1954); a fine Arts and Crafts mahogany, satin wood and ebony inlaid secrétaire desk on stand, the cushion moulded top with checkered strung border and lozenge veneers, with shaped convex sides crossbanded in satinwood with ebony inlaid corners, the secrétaire drawer with fall-front enclosing an incredible detailed inlaid and fitted interior, lined with satinwood and satin birch centred with an architectural barrel backed recess, various drawers, pigeon holes, compartments and pen tray, also set with associated circular silver capstan type inkwell above a base drawer, raised on a stand with four square sectioned tapering legs joined by a platform stretcher and with four brass capped feet, height 110cm, width 94.5cm, depth 59.5cm. Inked paper exhibition label to underside, inscribed 'Partnership in Style, E30, Chapman'.PROVENANCE; James Henry Sellers (1861-1954) to his granddaughter, Betty Ann Sellers, then by descent through the family until purchased at Messrs Bonhams Auctioneers, Chester, November 2011, Lot 867.
James Bond 007. A boxed set 'James Bond 007 - Action Toy Set 5' by Gilbert, containing three plastic figures, James Bond, Moneypenny and 'M' together with a 'M's Secret Desk'. all of which are glued to the box plinth. The clear plastic 'bulletproof screen' is set at a somewhat jaunty angle and there is no evidence of the 'desk stand pen set' being present, as illustrated on the outer box. The box has a cellophane wrap which is taped at both ends, overall G+.
James Bond 007. A boxed 'James Bond 007 Electric Drawing Set' made in 1966 by 'Lakeside Toys' (USA), the outer box marked '© 1966 Lakeside Toys, Division of Lakeside Industries Inc. Minneapolis'. Contents appear incomplete however does include Electric Drawing Desk with lighbulb (fitted with U.S. style plug), an illustrated envelope containing a number of drawing Guide Sheets, a small quantity of plain paper and nine used small colouring pencils. Whilst being untested, contents overall appear G in F/G outer card box.

VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Appearing in good original condition, general wear and tear commensurate with age but no serious damage or losses. One brass escutcheon is partially missing, scuffs and wear around feet commensurate with age.
EARLY 18TH CENTURY OAK SIDE TABLE OR DESK, probably originally the base of a cabinet on stand, now providing inset surface over writing or brushing slide, with an arrangement of three moulded drawers around a shaped arch on cabriole legs. 111 x 56 x 85cm.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: A little dry, legs may be replacements, basically sound.
EDWARDIAN SATINWOOD CROSS-BANDED MAHOGANY WRITING DESK OR DRESSING TABLE, the cross-banded top opening to reveal toilet mirror flanked by pigeon holes, drawers and letter rack, centre brushing slide above frieze drawer, with one additional lower side drawer on strung inlaid, square tapering legs. 46 x 84 x 77cm. CONDITION REPORT: Overall good condition, some minor losses, nicks and bumps, particularly to edges of veneers and banding in places, a little grubby and scratched to upper surface but basically sound.
