[Gladstone].Three silk doilys or napkins with pen and ink caricature drawings of William Ewart Gladstone. The first depicts Gladstone with his arms crossed over his heart, the second discoursing from behind a desk littered with books and the third as a guy on a bonfire. The surfaces of the doilys slightly grubby. All framed and glazed.
A French gilt metal and enamelled desk standish, circa 1870, with lidded ovoid inkwell decorated with floral painted band within enamel bead borders to waist on a royal blue enamel ground with bright-cut trailing vine decoration, supported within open scroll frame above conforming oval pen dish and on four foliate cast trefoil feet, 14.5cm wide.

A Fine Quality William & Mary Walnut Veneered Kneehole Desk of good colour and patination. The quarter-veneered top with feather-banded borders and a moulded edge measuring 32 ins x 20 ins (81 cms x 51 cms). The frieze fitted with a long drawer above six side drawers set three either side of graduated depth flanking an arched kneehole and recessed sliding centre cupboard. The drawer fronts bordered in feather-banding with brass loop handles on shaped backplates incised with decoration and half-round moulding to the divides. The moulded base standing on six turned onion feet.
An 18th Century Walnut Campaign Kneehole Desk. The quarter veneered top 311/2 ins x 201/4 ins (80 x 51 cms) inlaid with feather-banding in a cross-banded border and folding over to reveal a leather lined writing surface. The flap supported on a wooden frame with ratchet-ended curved brass arms sliding out from the base of the carcass. The long frieze drawer above a shallow kneehole drawer and three drawers either side; all clad in burr-figured veneers with feather-banded borders, cock-beaded edging, brass ring handles and oval escutcheons. The recessed kneehole cupboard on a moulded base and bracket feet. The sides fitted with carrying handles.
A late Victorian mahogany secretaire bookcase having a carved broken arch pediment above double door cabinet with plain glazed panels all set to a cabinet base. The base fitted with an upper fall front drawer with integral desk and pigeon holes all set above a double cupboard base with conforming carved detail, measures 47" wide by 19" deep by 86" tall.
