A Glasform John Ditchfield iridescent glass desk weight, applied two silver coloured metal frogs, 13.5 cm wide, and another similar, 13.5 cm wide (2) Condition report Report by GH One of the paperweights is etched J Ditchfield on one side of the base and Glasform on the opposite side of the base with a sticker in the centre. The other is marked in the same way. Report by NG Two frogs: base with black and gold mark and etched GLASFORM J Ditchfield. Tarnishing to frogs, one trail in iridescent decoration and a couple of other production faults but no visible damage or repair. One frog: Base with gilt and black mark and etch GLASFORM J Ditchfield. Again frog tarnished.
A Victorian coromandel wood desk stand and stationary box, applied metal mounts, 31.5 cm wide Condition report Report by GH Condition generally good with some age related scratches and wear. Appears to be original with all brass binding and studs present and in good condition. Both inkwells appear to be original and in relatively good condition. The right hand inkwell has a solder repair to the hinge. Key is present. Interior to stationary box is slightly tatty but generally in reasonably good condition. Otherwise no obvious damage or restoration.

Inkwells later and matched. Have previously had some restoration and repair: section of missing veneer been filled to curve of top; possible replacement to veneer to back top of stationary box. Cracking, splits and small losses also in veneer. Metal mounts highly polished. Part of silk lining to interior lid of stationary box watermarked and discoloured. Wear and tear to fitted stationary box interior.

The timepiece with a 5.5cm white dial with Roman numerals with gilt metals hands with a leaf and scroll engraved gilt metal border, eight-day movement with lever escapement, opposing a conforming aneroid barometer with a register calibrated in barometric inches inscribed with observations including change, with a conforming leaf engraved border, the reverse with a silvered dial centred with a fahrenheit thermometer surmounted by an oscillating loop handle raised upon a breakfront marble plinth with bowfront ends raised upon a gilt metal plinth base. 14x14x6.5cm
