Having leather top, carved gadrooned mouldings and raised on ogee bracket feet, 146cm wide, 96cm deep, 75cm high. Kneehole 59cm high.Condition report intended as a guide only.Good colour. Some superficial marks. Leather in good condition Slight veneer loss towards the top of the pedestals. Some loss to cock beading. One escutcheon loose. Handle original.

A late Victorian walnut double pedestal desk CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches, scuffs, staining, fading, discolouration, areas of loss to the desk. The leather inlay is discoloured and scuffed, scratched etc. There are a couple of deep gouges in the leather and it is starting to raise in some areas. Small chips throughout. A 19th Century Coalbrookdale type desk stand with all-over floral encrusted decoration, comprising inkwell, lidded jar, candle stand, on a two-handled tray, together with a near-matching lidded pot on quatrefoil base, un-marked CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface stratches to the gilts, some losses and chips to the encrusted floral decoration mainly to the petals. The candlestick has a stem and flower missing towards the top, areas of surface scratches, areas of loss again to the petals. The inkwell and lidded jar all have suirface scratches, areas of crazing, areas of loss to the petals, leaves and stems of all encrusted floral decoration. The tray, again surface scratches, area of wear and loss to the gilt and areas of loss to the petals, flowers and one flowerhead is completely detached from tray.
