Multi-Generation Desk Clearance, a canvas carton filled with old catalogues (incl. SG. GB spec. vol. 5 2nd ed. and 1999 Part 1), packets of stamps, a few albums, old cigar box with pocket-book of worldwide classics, family correspondence with GB line-engraved frankings, old banknotes of Ceylon, Maldives, Ethiopia, etc. Also plenty of GB face value, the highlight being a complete sheet of the £10 Britannia (x25, ie. face £250). We discovered a nice penny black and mint UPU £1 on loose cards, now in the GB singles section of this sale. There could well be other good things lurking here.
A Copeland porcelain two-division desk tidy with two lidded inkwells and pen trough, 23cms (9ins) wide.Condition ReportOne inkwell cover finial has been re-glued, the other glued in various places, the right hand inkwell has four hairline cracks to the rim, wear to the gilding and possible (very good) restoration to the front edge.

5 x silver hallmarked photo frames plus 1 inlaid mahogany: Largest circular oak backed frame clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1916 - has a replaced stand section at back, no glass, 19.5cm diameter. Mid size circular circular frame with oak back & clear hallmarks for B'ham 1913, with very minor dents and good overall used condition. Smallest circular frame has some minor damage. Larger rectangular frame with clear hallmarks for B'ham 1927 has minor damage to corners 12.5cm high, and smaller rectangular has extensive damage. The inlaid desk frame has a tiny split to inlay bottom left. (6)

Edwardian silver desk tray, with pierced gallery, twin silver topped ink wells raised on four scroll feet, assay marked London 1902, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths London. 24cm long, 16cm wide. Weight 618g excluding lids. CONDITION REPORT: The silver desk tray is in excellent condition, some light tarnishing to areas. The applied square mounts to hold the ink wells, one has a nut missing from underneath and is a little loose, ink wells are excellent.
