An early 20th century desk or boudoir timepiece. The white Arabic dial with blue numerals and gilt dot minute markers, within a ribbon-tied cast laurel bezel, to the Louis XV-style pink guilloche enamel case with tri-colour foliate swag mounts and reeded bun feet. Spurious Faberge marks. Height 13.2cms. Overall condition good. Fading to pink enamel in places. Surface scratches and areas of minor discolouration to case. The back-wound movement engraved A. R. , Hed. and zab. , plus ""Souvenir de 1900 de la part des amis Faberge"". Bearing pseudo marks H. W. (after workmaster Henrik Wigstrom) and `88` purity mark. The rear with hinged circular cover and pseudo FABERGE mark together with numerous marks, to case edges including 56 zolotniks.
