A French bronze desk weight, circa 1920, with luggage, a sack, a barrel and an anchor, monogrammed HR, on a Siena marble base, width 13.5cm.From the 59-metre super yacht Gaviota IV owned by the Chilean millionaire Arturo López-Willshaw.One of the tips of the anchor is off with spots of verdigris across the bronze, and various scratches and chips on the marble base.
An Arts and Crafts oak double school desk, the hinged lids with painted scenes, on circular tapering legs, height 60.5cm, width 91.5cm, depth 36cm.There are no makers marks on the desk. There are no condition issues to report. There is just general wear that's indicative of its age. A good sturdy desk.

It needs to be overhauled (it does not work).Measurements: 40 x 27 x 10 cm.Desk clock from the Empire period, with the case and the sculptural decoration in gilded bronze. It consists of a base decorated with reliefs depicting Eros and a lion. On the clock case sits a round representation of the Greek goddess of Victory, Nike, whose graceful anatomy follows neoclassical precepts. Floral compositions and plant growths complete the decoration. The dial of the clock has Roman numerals in black on a white background, with Breguet-style hands, and is bordered on the outside by a bronze floral wreath.

The dial, in gilt metal, is decorated with spandrels in dynamic openwork. Gilt metal pinnacles finish off the structure. It has a front with a simple architectural composition, raised on a moulded base and topped by a slope with curved corners. The dial is numbered in Roman numerals (for the hours) and Arabic numerals (for the minutes). A second dial is engraved with the inscription 'Tempus fugit'. The handle finish makes the watch easy to carry.

Spain, mid 20th century.Painted wood with chinoiserie decoration.Slight faults in the polychromy.Measurements: 230 x 100 x 55 cm.Georgian style bookcase in wood painted in red and decorated with chinoiserie in gilt, following Pierre Lottier's models. The decorations cover the three drawers and the upper body, completely covering the front and sides: pagodas, figures reclining in the shade of slender trees, together with birds, plant and fruit motifs. The interior is painted in emerald-green and decorated with gilt chinoiserie. The hinged desk top conceals four drawers and a central niche. The inner body has plenty of compartmentalisation to function as a bookcase, and more drawers. The lower part is distributed with three large drawers.Pierre Lottier was an outstanding furniture designer and decorator, born in France but based in Barcelona, active from the post-war period onwards. Already in the sixties and seventies he had an important workshop, where important cabinetmakers of the new generation were trained. Lottier worked mainly on the decoration of important houses in the Catalan capital, although he also designed others outside the city, such as Ava Gardner's house in Madrid.
