A Victorian walnut kidney shaped desk the leather top above two banks of four drawers and central drawer raised on plinth base CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches, scuffs and indentations to the leather top. Areas of loss to the painted red band around the leather, numerous scratches, scuffs and knocks to the wood. Some fading, discoloration and staining to the wood and the leather. Varnish has been worn to the front of the desk. Areas of wear and loss to the wood at the sides of the kneehole entrance. The veneer is starting to lift in some areas, mainly at the back of the desk to the right hand side of the kneehold entrance edge. Numerous areas of loss to the beading around several of the drawers. Handles and lock are original to the piece. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details.
