An 18thC/19thC Miniature Bible, A Concise History of the Old and New Testaments, lacking its title page, printed by Darton and Harvey, Gracechurch Street, London, it is likely that it was printed for E Newbury of 70 St Paul's Churchyard, comprising thirteen engraved plates, lightly browned with very little staining , in original crimson Morocco tooled leather, with ilt decoration, centrally stamped with black Morocco oval with 'JHS' inscription upon, on either side, (30mm wide x 15mm deep x 45mm high) together with a quantity of desk related items, including the 'Almanac for 1890' by Sutton's Seeds, three small boxes, several quills etc (a lot)

Katie Ponder has developed a unique style that is both fresh and contemporary but with references to art deco and with a touch of Gothic inspiration also. Ballet, tarot cards, mythology and patchwork quilts have all been key sources of inspiration behind Katie’s work.Katie’s work is developed digitally but to create a hand made quality she applies different textures from printing, collage and media experiments to create a rich and tactile look to her images. Recently Katie has enjoyed working with silkscreen printing and making limited edition prints.Katie attended Falmouth University where she received a 1st class with honours degree in illustration. On graduating from Falmouth Katie was the winner of the ‘AOI Book Award for New Talent’. In 2017 She was winner of the second prize for ‘Folio Society Book Illustration Competition’ and winner of the ‘House of Illustration People’s Choice Award’. Katie has also been the winner of the ‘Glyndebourne Tour Art Competition’. Currently living in South London with her cat Poppy.
