A Victorian mahogany purser's desk, fitted two domed hinged sections enclosing pigeonholes, shelves and post-box, the central section fitted pull-down flap enclosing four short drawers and pigeonholes with four short drawers under, a stationery compartment to the left and folio compartment to the right; on brass plaque fitted to the back "Wooton Desk Company, Glasgow" patented 1st May 1875, width 102cm.
