White bloom present across surface. Appears to be unvarnished. Hazing could be removed by surface cleaning. A few chips and losses to frame. Under glass.

A Chinese inspired hardwood folding desk, 20th century, carved with a dragon and shou character design with scrolling floral detail, the rectangular top with bamboo style edges, supporting a pierced trellis back with central carved dragon medallion, flanked on either side by two sets of small drawers, the frieze with similar pattern and two drawers above carved trellis sides on narrow block feet, 105cm high x 99cm wide x 62cm deep (at fault).

A LATE 17TH/EARLY 18TH CENTURY OAK DESK having a planked rectangular top, central frieze drawer and flanking deeper drawers, each with shaped brass back plates and bale type handles, with arched sections below, raised on six turned uprights linked by concaved stretchers, on bun feet. 74cm(h) x 105.5cm(w) x 59cm(d) CONDITION: The top`s two rear planks loose, one with corner depletion and worm damage, each having been re-attached at some time, additional rail to one drawer underside, otherwise condition commensurate with age and use.
