A mahogany carlton house desk in George III style, late 20th century, after the style of Chippendale, the superstructure with three-quarter gallery above an arrangement of drawers and pigeon holes, the hinged sections enclosing trays and secret drawers, the desk base with central frieze drawer flanked by four short drawers, all on carved cabriole legs terminating in claw and ball feet, 100cm high, 139cm wide,76cm deep
An early 19th century walnut veneered and ebonised piano fronted desk, raised on turned reeded legs. CONDITION REPORT: The top is in good condition generally. There is a small piece of ebonised moulding detached on the top right hand corner. We have the piece. The three top drawers operate as they should. To the bottom left hand canted angle below the top drawer there is a small piece of ebonised moulding missing which we do not have. The desk mechanism operates as it should but is a little stiff. The tooled leather writing surface is quite badly scuffed and worn. The interior drawers are all present. There is some beading missing to the left hand corner just below the piano front and we do not have the pieces. There is some further beading missing to the bottom right hand corner of the front of the desk just above the leg. We do have the majority of this section. The desk is generally structurally sound but does need a little cosmetic repair.
A George III mahogany kneehole desk, with moulded edge, frieze drawer, recessed cupboard, three further short drawers to either side and the whole raised on bracket feet. Width 32.5 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The desk is in generally good condition. The colour is decent. The top is in good condition with old surfaces scuff, marks and scratches as one would expect but no significant issues. The handles all appear to be original and the drawer fronts are in good condition. The centre door is missing its lock escutcheon. The bracket feet are in good condition and the backboards are original. The piece could be used in its current condition without the need for any repair or restoration. We cannot see any signs of woodworm and any repairs that have been made over the years are minor.
A Victorian mahogany desk, with brown leather writing surface, moulded edge and with series of drawers to each pedestal and with further side drawers to the right hand pedestal, with fully panelled back. Width 62.5 ins, depth 44 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The desk is in structurally good condition but really requires some restoration. The front of the desk is quite dry and faded but there is no significant damage. The side of the desk with the four dummy and four actual drawers is in generally good condition without fading. The rear of the desk which is panelled is also not faded. There is a single ¾ inch drill hole presumably to accommodate cabling. The left hand side of the desk is slightly faded from front to back but not as significantly as the front of the desk itself. The writing surface is in good condition generally and all of the handles are present and original. The plinth base is scuffed as one would expect.
A Regency mahogany bowfronted desk or dressing table, with green gilt tooled leather surface, crossbanded edge and fitted with a series of drawers with brass drop handles and raised on tapered legs terminating in spade feet. Width 40 ins. CONDITION REPORT: Height 30.5ins, depth at deepest point 20ins, width 40ins.

CONDITION REPORT: Height 30 ins, width 42 ins, depth 21 ins. The condition is generally first class. There is no evidence of any damage, repairs or restoration. An Edwardian satinwood Carlton House style desk, with brass gallery, serpentine lidded stationery compartment and tooled leather writing surface and with convex inverted breakfront fitted with a series of frieze drawers with brass knob handles and raised on tapered legs of square section terminating in castors. Width 45 ins (see illustration).
A 19th century yew wood kneehole desk, with moulded edge above a series of frieze drawers and recessed cupboard and raised on bracket feet. Width 36 ins. CONDITION REPORT: This desk is in unrestored condition. The top is generally intact and of good colour and has old stress fractures and slight gaps between the sections of veneer but no significant issues. The moulded edge surrounding is very dry but all intact. The drawer fronts are in generally good order with no significant areas of missing veneer or damage. Some of the crossbanding between the drawers and down the side strips is missing. The recessed cupboard is slightly loose on the hinges and a little dry. The plinth moulding around the base is in good condition but again there are veneer losses to the fronts of the bracket feet. The backboards are in good order. The handles appear to be original.
A Chippendale style mahogany partners desk, with gilt tooled leather writing surface, with carved edge and fitted with three frieze drawers to either side and with further drawers to each pedestal, flanked by canted lion mask and bellflower carved angles and raised on paw feet. Width 73 ins, depth 42 ins (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The desk is generally in extremely good condition. The leather writing surface is almost perfect. The only minor issues with the desk are some minor scuffs which should be visible from our images. These have been caused by transportation. These would easily stain and polish over. The desk is structurally very sound and does not really have any issues other than the minor polish scuffs referred to.
An Edwardian mahogany Chippendale style desk, with metal gallery to the rectangular top and fitted with a series of blind fretwork carved drawers and raised on cabriole legs terminating in lions paw feet. Width 48.5 ins. CONDITION REPORT: This desk is in need of some restoration. The brass gallery is intact and all present but a little dirty. The red tooled leather writing surface requires replacement as much of this is missing. Otherwise the top of the desk is flat and in good order. All of the drawer fronts are a little tatty particularly around the lock escutcheons. There are no major losses to the blind fretwork but some small areas are chipped and have lost their top stain. There is some loss to the applied foliate scrollwork around the centre panel of the long drawer. The legs are all original and in good structural condition simply a little dirty. The side panels and back panel are in good order and the interiors of all the drawers are in good condition
A mahogany pedestal desk, with green tooled leather writing surface in three sections, with three frieze drawers and three further drawers to each pedestal and raised on bracket feet. Width 54 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The desk is generally structurally sound. There are some marks and scuffs to the green tooled leather which should be visible from our images. The back and sides are in good order as are all of the drawer fronts. The are some minor scuffs and marks as one would expect particularly around the feet. The desk could do with a clean.
