Davis, with an image of Davis sat his Attwood desk tipped-in, and a modern facsimile copy of Davis” Token Coinage of Warwickshire [5]. Programmes fine, last very fine Images of W.J. Davis from the 1910 and 1911 programmes illustrated on Plate II. An Edwardian mahogany and marquetry cylinder fronted twin pedestal desk, crossbanded in satinwood, bordered with boxwood and ebony lines, the top with a moulded three quarter gallery, the fall decorated with a central foliate scroll cartouche with musical trophy surrounded by scrolling foliate designs and pendant pagoda canopies, the interior with maple veneered small drawers and apron canopies to the pigeon holes, having a pull out writing section with triple divided and hinged tooled leather inset panels, containing six short pedestal drawers below, between fluted canted angles, on a plinth base with castors, 137.5cm (4ft 6 1/4in) wide.
