Backboard loose and poorly fitted. Fold-out writing surface with chips and veneer losses and with repair to both hinges. Drawer locked.

Writing desk in carved fruitwood. Art Nouveau. Circa 1900. The piece has three sections - the central upper part and two display cases. The central part has a folding door and drawers in the interior behind which is hidden a secret drawer. The lower part has two lateral doors. 218 x 96 x 50 cm.

There are several marks and scuffs to the top, as you would expect. The left hand side is a little faded, as is the top left corner, through sunlight. There are a couple of bruises to the carcass, but overall condition is good.
