A George III mahogany kneehole desk, with bow front with single drawer above the kneehole flanked on either side by cupboards and drawers with brass drop handles with circular back plates and cockbeading to each drawer and cupboard front, with plinth base beneath. Width 47ins. (see illustration)

An Aesthetic Movement ebonised Davenport desk, with ormolu gallery above the hinged top enclosing a birds-eye maple lined interior, raised to twin turned supports either side of the central hand-painted floral detailed panel, further fitted with a bank of four side drawers and raised to porcelain castors, stamped Hampton & Sons, 54cm wide.

A pair of framed Fabere designs for a desk set, circa 1900 one pencil and watercolour on tracing paper, the other pencil on paper variously inscribed with instructions in Cyrillic and costs (2) image size: 28 by 21cm., 11 by 8.25in.; 29 by 23cm., 11.5 by 9in. It is very rare to find matched designs of this type which help illustrate the manufacture process in Faberge's workshop. The nephrite desk-set is outlined as a sketch which includes instructions and cost; the second design in watercolour gives a better impression of how the finished desk-set would have appeared.
