An Ashanti gold pendant Ghana, late 19th century of hoop form with turned back ends forming loops, with linear and circle stamped decoration, 3.5cm long, 22ct gold, mounted on inscribed card. Total weight including card 10.6grams cf. The Victoria and Albert Museum, London, Accession No. 380&A-1874 - a pair of silver anklets with similar hoop pendants. The pendant is mounted on a piece of card cut from a desk calendar dated 1896 and inscribed An Ashantee earring - Part of the Indemnity money paid into Bank of England, 18. Colonel Trotter.

The mechanism is designed to allow for adjustment of the seat height but will require attention to function correctly. Mechanism shows spots of rust. . . The fabric underside of the chair is stained, discoloured and pierced in places by metal internal components. The vinyl upholstery is marked in places and has a tear to the rear of the chair. .

The smaller sauce tureen with a chip to the underside of one of the leaves. The silver to the pocket watch case is generally rubbed with a few small holes and wear at edge, the leather with general scuffs and wear throughout. The modern twin aperture frame is generally grubby throughout and the easel is defective. The dial to the clock is loose within the frame and silver mount to the timepiece has light scuffs and knocks. The large silver mounted photograph frame is 25.5 x 21.5cm, the hallmarks are rubbed and the date letter is not readable, general patina and scratches and scuffs to the silver, the velvet backing heavily worn and grubby throughout. All of the brushes with knocks and dents at the edges and general scratches, the comb is much better.
