A LATE VICTORIAN CARVED MAHOGANY TWIN PEDESTAL DESK CIRCA 1890 The leather inset top above an arrangement of drawers 78cm high, 124cm wide, 68cm deep Condition Report: Overall there are some scratches, marks, knocks, cracks and abrasions consistent with age and use.The leather top of variable red depending on wear, with some opaque marks. Some rubbing to the dark stain revealing paler underlying wood.The joints of some legs opened, others with traces of glue.The back and sides of the desk are plain veneered so that it could stand in the centre of a room.Some drawer linings with cracks and some ink stains and marks.
