A George III mahogany roll top desk, in the manner of Gillows, the tambour fall concealing a leather writing surface and boxes with three frieze drawers on two three-drawer pedestals, 139.75cm wide/see illustration Condition Report: Top with stain approximately 6cm long. Tambour in good condition. Leather lined top badly perished. Pigeonholes scratched in places. All drawer locks present, some handles loose. Sides split in places and some loss of veneer.

A large Victorian leather topped mahogany partners desk, 19th century, the tooled black leather top above three frieze drawers, on three raised drawers, upon casters, 78cm high x 153cm wide x 105cm deep. CONDITION REPORT: veneer losses, minor wear, beading missing to drawers, splits to sides, otherwise good, 1, potentially re-polished to all surfaces, but no signs of surface work to this piece. Overall surface is good and can be revived, leather top, general scuffing and wear. 2 All locks present, no key, a door and drawer locked 3. All panels to side side pedestals have longitudinal expansion cracks, one drawer has cockbeading missing to one side, losses to veneers in bases of pedestals by foot wells, plus scuffs to high points in foot wells, one pedestal has missing veneer 4 cm x 2cm. We retain 2 pieces of veneer, possibly from pedestal base
