A few small areas of craquelure: one area just below the girl's elbow and one area long the back of the chair. A few light surface scuffs along the lower half of the work. Some small areas of rubbing along the extreme edge. There is an annotation along the stretcher on the verso noting a cleaning and varnishing done in 1938. There is moderate wear to the frame, with cracking present throughout.
