An 18th century walnut kneehole desk, the moulded edge upper surface with incuse front corners and decorated with herringbone banding, seven drawers with brass plate handles and escutcheon arranged around the central kneehole and cupboard, with a pen tray to the shaped moulding above, and large brass plate carry handle to each side, raised on bracket feet, plaque to back 'Hon C. Lawrence' for a previous owner, 97 by 59.5 by 87cm high.
A Victorian walnut and mahogany Davenport desk, with serpentine fronted tooled cream leather hinged surface opening to reveal four fitted drawers, letter compartment to top, raised on carved serpentine front supports, to the right side four graduating drawers with turned handles, raised on cup feet and castors, 57 by 55 by 88cm high.

VICTORIAN OAK BUREAU BOOKCASE,the stepped and moulded cornice above twin glazed doors enclosing three shelves, the lower section with fitted interior and twin carved cupboard doors enclosing a single shelf, raised on substantial bracket supports, approximately 235cm high, 125cm wide, 52.5cm deepCondition report: Some general surface wear, including scoring, scuffs and nibbles, in keeping with age and use. Two splits to the writing surface. Two strips of the border on the left cupboard door panel have detached, though they are present inside the writing desk storage. A strip of bordering on the right cupboard door is coming off. The panel of decoration on the left hand side is somewhat loose. Some residue on the right hand side, possibly watered down paint. There are several keys inside the drawers, though these have not been tested with the bookcase. Additional images showing damages available.
A VICTORIAN WALNUT DESK by MORANT, BOYD & BLANDFORD, 91 NEW BOND ST., the rectangular top of breakfront outline, with concave ends, inset with a green leather writing surface over three frieze drawers on carved bracketed supports, urn form legs on stretchered block feet. Note: The firm of Morant, Boyd & Blandford were responsible for the design of The Resolute Desk, as used by several of the presidents of The United States of America as the Oval Office desk. 5ft 0ins long x 2ft 8ins wide x 2ft 5ins high.
