An Edwardian cut brass and tortoiseshell veneered desk tray with cover in the Boulle style, early 20th century, of rectangular form, the cover with brass handle, above a leather lined interior, 9cm high, 33cm long; and a conforming Edwardian Boulle-work veneered desk blotter, early 20th century, 33cm long, 25.5cm wide condition report:** Other than the usual minor scuffs and knocks overall consistent with age and use the Boullework exterior of both items is in basically good shape. The brass is dirty and tarnished. The brass base of the box is inscribed ASPREY & Co. LONDON.The leather interiors are dirty and mildewed. The blotter contains an inscription detailing the gifting of the items to Sir George Faudel-Phillips, Baronet, GCIE
