A Chinese carved wood pedestal desk, early 20th century,: with all over decoration of flowers, foliage, fruit and figures, the breakfront superstructure with a moulded cornice, with shaped foliate scroll surmount centred by a flowerhead, enclosed by a pair of panel doors decorated with figures each before a screen, flanked by an open compartment to either side and containing three frieze drawers with cloud bands and blossoming foliage, the pedestal bases each enclosed by a door with figures in a pagoda garden setting, carved with Chinese character marks to the backgrounds, perhaps the maker's signature; on bracket feet, 164cm high, 153cm wide.

Victorian figured walnut twin pedestal desk, the top with green leather inset, nine drawers, on casters, width 123cm, depth 76cm, height 75cm.Condition report:There are some heavy patches of scratches front centre of the leather inset. Some ring stains also across the leather. The veneer is lifting a little around the border of the leather. Some old repairs to the moulded edges. Some splits and small patches of veneer missing to the drawer fronts and surrounds, and bases. No keys for the lock mechanisms.

Modern pine roll top desk, serpentine tambour enclosing a fitted interior, twin pedestals fitted with drawers, ogee bracket feet, widrth 134cm, depth 63cm, height 114cm, and an elm hoop back chair.Qty: 2Condition report:General condition is good, but some fading toward the right hand side top section. The tambour slide does still work but is a little sticky. The top surface with multiple scratch marks/ faint indents (as if someone has repeated used a ballpoint pen on the top). The interior has some old tape to the drawer fronts that will probably leave a mark when removed. Some kick marks surrounding the kneehole. No worm. The chair has one damaged spindel that has snapped from the seat at the base, the back is wobbling and loose, otherwise light use to edges and corners.
