A late 19th/early 20th century mahogany partner's desk with leather inset top CONDITION REPORTS Width approx. 152 cm x 97 cm deep x 78 cm high. Leather top with quite a lot of wear, stains and fading and some splits, veneers with various splits and losses, central drawer runners and stops appear to need replacing and the lower edge beneath the drawer appears to be missing, generally knocks and bumps - this base section/wood panel which would normally fit beneath the drawer appears to be missing to both sides of the desk, there is a section of the leather top torn off and missing, colour of wood generally appears to be reasonable, although there are some variations to the colour to the sides and some splits and scuffs to sides, split to join to the top of the desk which has also caused the leather to split, both sides of the desk there is a central drawer flanked by two banks of four drawers.
A reproduction mahogany kneehole desk in the George III taste, the top with tooled leather inset over three frieze drawers raised on two banks of three drawers, together with a near matching two drawer filing cabinet with leather insert top CONDITION REPORTS Overall with general wear and scuffs, some knocks and chips to edges conducive with use, scuffs to the kneehole section and some losses to varnish along the front, generally however appears to have reasonable colour and to be in fairly sturdy condition, leather inset top with wear and scuffs, some scratches. 137 cm wide x 68 cm deep x 77 cm high approx.
