BULOVA Accutron Vintage Tischuhr. USA, 1960er Jahre. Perönliches Geschenk von Frank Sinatra.Messing, vergoldet. Stimmgabelwerk mit neuer Batterie, funktionsfähig, sichtbar in der Zifferblattmitte, nicht geprüft auf Ganggenauigkeit. Ausklappbarer Standfuß innen mit Gravur "To BEATRICE and JEAN-PIERRE, with affection, FRANK SINATRA, 1965". Vermutlich ein persönliches Geschenk von Frank Sinatra an den französischen Regisseur Jean-Pierre Melville und die Autorin Béatrice Beck, anlässlich der Veröffentlichung des Spielfilms "Die Millionen eines Gehetzten" mit Jean-Paul Belmondo in 1964, der darin einen sehr goßen Frank Sinatra-Fan spielt (mit freundlicher Genehmigung der Deutschen Sinatra Society e.V.). Tuning fork movement with new battery, working, visible in the centre of the dial, not tested for accuracy. Fold-out pedestal engraved on the inside "To BEATRICE and JEAN-PIERRE, with affection, FRANK SINATRA, 1965". Probably a personal gift by Frank Sinatra to the French director Jean-Pierre Melville and the writer Béatrice Beck, on the occasion of the release of the movie "Magnet of Doom" with Jean-Paul Belmondo in 1964, playing a huge fan of Frank Sinatra (with kind permission of German Sinatra Society e.V.). Visible signs of wear on case, crystal and dial. Diameter ca. 100mm.

AMENDED ESTIMATES:A fine and rare late 18th century Swedish Gustavian campaign desk by Georg Haupt, master in Stockholm 1770-1784, the mahogany chest form body with line inlaid detail and twin gilt brass hinged carry handles to the sides, an oval escutcheon to the front fold down section, opening to reveal a fitted interior with six drawers flanking a central cupboard, inset with an oval painted oil on canvas portrait of a gentleman, framed by an inlaid and stained laurel wreath tied with ribbons against a satinwood veneered background, the fall front with integral lift slope and fold out section with three carved recesses, all raised on two pairs of folding square section legs and a fold out front apron, with brass stays and sprung retaining lock, signed into the inlay of the lower corners of the central portrait panel 'G. Haupt fecit a Stockholm', 105 by 49 by 47.5cm high, 105cm high with legs extended.
