An Edwardian inlaid rosewood and mahogany Carlton House style desk, with series of drawers, compartments and sliding writing surface to the upper section and fitted with two frieze drawers and raised on tapered legs of square section terminating in spade feet. Width 122 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This desk is in generally good condition. The superstructure does not have any significant problems that we can see other than minor surface scuffs and indentations that one would expect of a piece of furniture of this age. The writing surface which slides forward operates as it should. The writing surface is tooled leather and is quite badly scuffed and generally marked. The drawers operate as they should and again only have minor blemishes as one would expect. The same can be said of the legs which have some minor scuff marks and scratches particularly around the spade feet.

Height of the desk including castors is 76.5 cm, height to bottom of kneehole 60cm, depth 66.5 cm, width 121 cm (see illustration).
